Lovely cottage, exactly as described with cats and quirks, cute and old with lots of character. Cats were lovely, even the slightly grumpy one, breakfast was well above expectations. Delicious! Comfy bed too. Great place, sad we only stayed one night really!

Lizzie was a lovely host - very friendly and welcoming. The room had everything we needed, although small, with a comfortable bed and a good shower. A great location - right on the waterside in Dartmouth - and breakfast was excellent.

I had a short but very pleasant and comfortable stay at Olivia's house with everything I needed for my two-day visit to Vobster Quay. Being able to hang wet diving gear in Olivia's garden was really helpful. The location is very quiet but amenities are close by should you need them. I would definitely stay at Olivia's house again - Ted the terrier was the icing on the cake!

Belinda was very helpful about me needing to check in a bit early, very accommodating with my little dog, and also very welcoming and a lovely host. Breakfast was delicious - lovely granola with blueberries and yoghurt, perfect. She recommended various supper options and I tried the Cott Inn - fabulous food (I had the pea, shallot and sage tortelloni) and also dog friendly. I was visiting Totnes in order to go on a tour of the Agroforestry Research Trust which is a pioneering forest garden full of interesting edibles grown without needing much maintenance - ideal for growing healthy food at home alongside a busy lifestyle. The tour was great - and Belinda’s home was only a 15 min walk away, so it all worked out very well.

Katie was very friendly and the view out of our window over the fields of sheep and cows was lovely. A very rural and secluded location, but within minutes of Ashburton. We will definitely stay at Katie‘s place next time we are in in Devon.

It was lovely staying at Jessica's. She made us feel comfortable and welcome. The room is wonderful with a stunning view of Bath, and waking up to it was a pleasure. Her kitchen and garden are lovely too. While having breakfast, you can take in a panoramic view of Bath. While the house is easily accessible, the location makes it quiet and peaceful. The bed was really comfy too and we slept really well. We had a really packed 2 days and walked about a lot, so getting to rest at such a lovely, welcoming space at the end of the day was brilliant. Jessica is very knowledgeable about Bath and gave great recommendations. Meeting her was as much a pleasure as the stay!

Fiona ist die perfekte Gastgeberin. Sie nimmt sich Zeit für Gespräche, hat immer ein offenes Ohr und viel Wissen, um z.B. Fragen zum Gastland bzw. der Region fundiert zu beantworten. Es war etwas ganz Besonderes in Ihrem schönen ruhig gelegenen Haus mit phantastischem Meerblick zu Gast sein zu dürfen. Auch ihr Mann und ihre Tochter waren sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und köstlich mit guten Zutaten. Der Hafen und die Altstadt von Weymouth mit einigen Restaurants sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. We had a very lovely stay. Nicola provided a high chair and travel cot to accommodate for our 10 month old baby. The hot tub was lovely and private and the views were stunning.

Sheree and Brian, were great hosts and made us feel right at home. The place is lovely and so peaceful. Nothing was too much Trouble and they certainly had some stories to tell 😃 would definitely visit again.

I had a lovely 4 night stay, the room is very spacious and furnished with every thing you need. They have a lovely home and are great hosts. The breakfast has a great selection and feels very homely. You can sit in the garden on comfortable furniture which is great to relax in. The sea is only a few minutes away, no need for a car. A great location to explore the Island and has two lovely gardens close by and well and the rest of the coast. I plan to go back sometime in the near future.

The 3 weeks that I spent at Nina’s with Betsy, Minou and Suki as roommates were my most cherished weeks of 2025! Nina’s place is spotless, pretty, cosy, just everything to make you feel right at home. She’s a wonderful host, who became a friend. The city is the just spectacular and truly heals! My heart is heavy leaving this beautiful place, and my darling Betsy. Until next time!

David en Paul zijn duidelijk ervaren hosts. heel aardig, open (en grappig) en super behulpzaam. wij raden deze airbnb van harte aan. Mochten we ooit in de buurt weer wat gaan doen dan komen we graag weer genieten van het heerlijke ontbijt!

We had an amazing stay!! Kate & Mark gave us amazing recommendations and the room was very cozy and clean. The bus station wasn't too far away and the neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We felt right at home with the family and were always very happy about the morning croissants :). 10/10 would gladly stay here again!!

Lovely modern interior. Caroline was very attentive at breakfast. Good selection for a continental breakfast including deli type cheeses and ham. More than we expected! Our room had a sea view. Quiet road ensured a good night's sleep. Our room was refreshed even though we only stayed for 3 nights. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Pretty garden with outside seating. Caroline provided some local recommendations which was very helpful.

We enjoyed our one night stay. Communication and breakfast were both excellent. The bed was really comfortable. Just a shame we weren't there longer. Thanks for a nice stay.

Staying with Alison is just perfect and I really look forward now to my visits to Dorset and Somerset. The views are sensational and the facilities are perfect and Alison is such a wonderfully natural person to be around with - what more could you ask for really whether you are in from a working day or on holiday? Lyn and John were fantastic hosts - being generous with lively conversation but also providing options for privacy as desired. I paid a reduced rate due to some regulars being out of town, but they are already providing an excellent value classic bed and breakfast service with homestay personal touches. Lyn offers a full cooked breakfast and cereals to all guests, but was happy to make adjustments to tastes and needs. John also makes a tasty coffee from the espresso machine. I would be glad to return if I am able to find a moment when they are not fully booked!

We had a wonderful stay here. Both the house and our room were lovely and spacious, exactly what we were hoping for. We received such a warm and friendly welcome from David & Winston the dog which made us feel right at home straight away. We met Claudine later and she was just as friendly and welcoming. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was nice and hot and we had everything we needed for our stay. David came to chat to us as we left and wished us all the best on the rest of our travels which was lovely. Highly recommend! Thank you so much David & Claudine!

I arrived tired after driving through lashing rain. I was made to feel immensely welcome. Everything was very fine indeed and Rachel had put a lot of thought into providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Lovely home, felt relaxed and welcome. Very peaceful so had a great sleep followed by a very generous breakfast. Wish I could have stayed longer - next time!

Anne is a wonderful hostess, gave us a very warm welcome and recommendations! What a beautiful setting and the surroundings! Beautiful house and so quiet and peaceful just what we wanted in the magnificent Devon countryside. Exactly as in the photos and described. We stayed only one night unfortunately but would have loved to have stayed a week it was so beautiful there. Breakfast also was great and fresh sourdough bread Anne had just baked. Had a lovely walk around after breakfast and saw the horses, hens, sheep, stunning landscape and natural beautiful countryside. What a lovely dog Mack they have, he is so timid and welcoming also.
