Stunning location and a beautiful little home away from home. Nel and Lorne were both welcoming and helpful, even offering us lifts into town for events. The kitchen supplies shared made our life much easier and the workspace was perfect. The view from the lounge room and bedroom window was so beautiful and we enjoyed spending time just being in the unit watching out to the water. The bath tub was beautiful and the heating worked well, the bed and linens were great and the kitchen was well equipped. We loved Taroona and hope to stay with Nel again when we return to our beloved Tassie 💖

I decided to stay at Sandy Bay instead of the CBD on this visit to Hobart. What a great decision. coming home to the expansive water view each day was wonderful. Natalie was friendly and accommodating and responsive. Will stay again!

An absolutely gorgeous penthouse apartment - very modern, stunning river views, outdoor bath, bathrobes, lots of treats on arrival, very comfortable beds, safe and secure and so close to everything in Hobart, especially Salamanca and the restaurant strip. Fantastic home with all the comforts, very warm and cosy, beautiful beds, great kitchen with more than we could use, great comfortable lounge and a huge 85inch TV for the relaxing time, great easy parking to your door & in a very safe area, our host was so helpful & responded to any of our enquiries very promptly, super friendly and a real larrikin, this was our second stay at Charles and we would love to come back again. Highly recommended

Jacqui was such a warm and thoughtful host! She was always responsive and welcoming, and we truly appreciated the handmade lavender bead warmer pillows she gifted us — such a heartfelt gesture that added a personal and comforting touch to our stay, especially in the chilly weather. The home is tucked just behind the main road, offering a nice sense of privacy while still being only a short drive to the city and Mt Wellington. Parking was easy and convenient right by the roadside. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for simple cooking, and the living room, kitchen, and bathroom were cosy and well-heated. The only small suggestion we have is that it would be lovely to have a heater or an electric blanket in the bedroom for added comfort during colder nights. One unexpected delight was the visit from three adorable pademelons in the backyard — such a treat to see them up close! All in all, it was an enjoyable and peaceful stay. Thank you, Jacqui!

After a long stretch without a break, Brierlie’s apartment overlooking the harbour and historic buildings was the perfect place to land. Everything we needed was within walking distance, great restaurants, the Mona ferry, Salamanca Markets, and more. The apartment was spot-on for two couples. Thanks, Brierlie, our Kiwi friends and we had a fantastic stay.

Absolutely gorgeous home, and perfect for a long weekend (or longer) with friends or family. Fantastically equipped kitchen, comfortable and warm rooms, incredible views (including from the bathtub). We went for a rainy winter stay with four adults and three children and didn't mind not leaving the house one bit (apart from the occasional walk down to what felt like a private beach, with no-one else around). Can't wait to go back. Thank you!

Wonderful accommodation, the room facilities are very new and convenient, the view is beautiful, the lawn and beach lounge give the children a lot of space to play, the Milky Way at night, many kangaroos and bunnies around the evening, adding a lot of fun to this accommodation.Overall, it's really great, I believe I'll come back to this beautiful holiday place in the future

Deborah is an amazing host; communication was swift, helpful and kind! The house is clean, modern, functional and fun. The views are stunning and the beach access was fun for both younger guests and the adults, oh and our four legged friend. To be honest, I've never stayed in an airbnb that was so well equipped as this one. There were enough pots and pans, cutlery, utensils, cleaning products, toastie machine, condiments, cereals... the list was endless. It was amazing!! We had a wonderful stay. The tranquility was joyful. We will be back again. Thank you so much Deb!!

We absolutely loved our week at Michelle's place. It was a great base to do all of the stunning Tassie Peninsula hikes and the view from house is spectacular. We were lucky enough to see a pod of seals lazily swimming by on the morning we were leaving. What a treat!

We had a great weekend away at Robyn's place. Robyn is a warm and generous host, whose communication was always clear and prompt. The house itself is wonderful, spacious and comfortable, with everything you might need, and in a beautiful location. I would highly recommend it! Thank you Robyn!
