Cabin vacation rentals in Swansea

We arrived just before the sun started to set and the view across the wetlands was absolutely magical! Lots of wildlife visible from the balcony, which was great! We had everything we needed, and the place was very cosy and comfortable. The cabin felt secluded and private, but was just a short drive to Launceston. Easy to find too, and the directions were helpful. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! Everything worked well and felt quality which was lovely made us feel at home. The spa and the view of the stars at night was magical and our kids adored the sheep nextdoor. We hope to come back one day!

We loved our stay so much! The sauna has a clear glass top and it was an absolute highlight! Such a smart way to integrate the experience with the outdoors. The outdoor shower/tub is also great, gets super cold and super hot, so perfect for a cold plunge post sauna or a hot soak. I loved how the shells on the ground outside create such a lovely sensory experience when we're walking to the front door. Nicholas was friendly and responsive, the place was clean, super cosy, quiet and very peaceful. We felt right at home. We loved the plants, the fireplace and the awesome sound system too! It's not super central, a 15-20 minute cab ride to get to the city restaurants, Salamanca markets, etc, but we thought that was a small compromise to stay at such a perfect place for us. A beautiful, private and peaceful stay at the Trig. Fire was blazing when we arrived and walked into warm and comfy accommodation. Felt at home with music and books to switch off with and the amenities provided made the stay very relaxing. Amazing views! I would recommend to anyone looking for a private and homely stay.

Such a peaceful and relaxing place to end our Tassie trip. Gorgeous little cottage in a beautiful area. Thanks so much to Karen for being so friendly and making us feel at home. The kids really enjoyed picking your yummy fresh fruit with you and playing frisbee and finska on the lawn. Definitely recommend!

This cabin was so lovely & new but with gorgeous country side surroundings. It can get really cold inside but the fireplace was amazing & kept the cabin warm most of the night! It's about 30 minutes drive to Hobart city where we had most of our outings but we are used to driving places at home & it's worth it for the peaceful surroundings to come back to. Very clean place & comfortable bed linen/pillows

Peaceful, private and beautiful surrounds. Easily accessible flat walks, weather was perfect. Staying in such an old establishment was a bonus !

It was a beautiful and peaceful stay. Casey was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The cabin was the perfect place to get away from all the noise and step into a peaceful, warm setting Id absolutely return and would recommend to anyone and everyone :)

We enjoyed our stay. It was just what we needed, with the quiet surroundings, warmth of the wood heater and feeling of welcome in the thoughtfulness of the owners to make sure everything was just right.

A lovely stay in such a peaceful hidden away location - with only the sound of distant cows... bliss. Nice & cosy with good heating on a frosty night looking at the stars. Our dog enjoyed the little yard whilst we enjoyed the challenge of cooking in the wood stove. The nearby creek is a beautiful spot to decompress too.. Highly recommend!

Perfect location for a peaceful afternoon and night before the 3 Capes walk

Macey went above and beyond to make us very welcome and comfortable . We were able to check out later which gave us a little more time to pack up. We loved the outdoor fireplace the firewood was all ready and well stocked . Very cosy and homey , very comfortable bed and crisp linen. The record player was a hit and enjoyed the board games . Make sure you are well stocked up and prepare if cooking to save time and money with shopping etc however there is enough great cafes and unique restaurants around . Great facilities for dogs and dog friendly beach close by . If there was a laundry it would totally be a 10/10 however that did not disappoint us as it wasn’t a priority . A wonderful relaxing place and totally recommend if you like to be away from the hustle and bustle . Beautiful flora and fauna surrounding in particular the birds and flowers . A home with character !

Absolutely beautiful, only complaint was that we wish we stayed longer.

We enjoyed our stay in Binalong Bay. House was very cosy with the heat on despite the cold wet weather outside, location was beautiful and an easy walk to the beach and trails.

Would 100% recommend, this was exactly the kind of stay we were looking for the location and styling were absolutely gorgeous. All the amenities were wonderful and clean everything was exactly as described and pictured. Beth was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would love to have stayed a bit longer if we had more time xx

Absolutely beautiful! Better than can be described in a picture. We definitely did not want to leave. The cabin was so much better than expected. So many little things the hosts provided made the stay even better. Loved the deluge in the shower. The views from the bed, shower and bath were amazing. I could honestly go on and on. Will be back next year.

Loved our stay, have stayed at many of the options in Derby and this is among the best. Definitely will stay again.

I stayed here with my sister for a peaceful getaway during our time in Tasmania and it was everything we were looking for and more. We stayed in the masters cabin (highly recommend) and the views over the lake were stunning. Every morning and evening we would sit out on the veranda with a cup of tea to watch the sunrise/ sunset and soak in all the wildlife and felt like we were in our own little haven. Kendra was an amazing host and we felt right at home from the get go. We have already recommended this airbnb to friends and family - don't hesitate to book you won't be disappointed!

As a visitor from Canada, I felt right at home at this beautiful property that offered the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and genuine Aussie hospitality. The lifestyle here felt familiar, yet uniquely special. Waking up to morning visits from wallabies right outside our window was such a magical touch — a true Australian experience! We also enjoyed watching the birds and friendly farm animals, which made each day feel peaceful and connected to nature. The cabin was warm and cozy, especially during the winter season, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. It really had that homey feel, which meant so much to me and my child during a challenging time for our family. Location-wise, everything was close and convenient. We had easy access to the beach and a lovely playground, which made for perfect morning and afternoon walks. It’s a great spot for families, and I felt very safe and relaxed the entire time. Swansong was a beautiful place to stay. From the pristine bushland to the beautiful bays, this place didn't disappoint. The space was tranquil and a prime place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We didn't want to leave, and would love to come back! The outdoor fireplace was a perfect place to cook under the night sky. Emily was very responsive and 5 stars as a host.
