Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and satellite TV (Astra). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

The apartment is located very centrally in a separate farmhouse and consists of 1 room, kitchen and shower/wc divided of 43 sqm. In the bedroom, there is a shareable double bed, wardrobe, sofa group with TV. In the kitchen there is a sink, stove, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, as well as other equipment. One bed is in the kitchen. In addition, there are two foldable tourist beds and one travel bed for toddlers. Freezer available in a storage room next door.

Villa Sjötullen is beautifully situated right by the lake Stor Björken. The villa is 1 1/2-floor with large country kitchen but modern, with all the equipment and a nice wood stove. Large bedroom with attached bathroom incl. washing machine and dryer. Large living room with fireplace, sofa group and dining table, double doors out to the wooden deck. The upper has 2 bedrooms and a living room with TV, a bathroom. Parking for several cars directly in the villa. Possibility to rent kayaks available. Sourdough bakery is 100m away.

Bring the family/group of friends to our amazing house! Perfect for nature lovers. The house is 100 sqm & is quiet & secluded near a lake. The kitchen is fresh, high ceilings with a nice patio with evening sun. Two single beds & two bunk beds. Bed linen & towels are rented separately. 150 SEK/pp for bed linen & 100 SEK/pp for towel. The house is 15 minutes by car from Kristinehamn, 5 minutes to Bäckhammar. In Bäckhammar there is a small grocery store & gas station. Swimming areas in the area: Gottbol, Hult.

Lovely holiday accommodation for those who like animals and nature! Here you can fish, swim, hike and cycle. There are several nature reserves and hiking and cycling trails in the vicinity. You have access to a simple rowing boat (life jackets can be borrowed) and your own bay or you can borrow our jetty where you can dive or fish. We are located between Örebro and Karlskoga in Norhammar. Towels and sheets are included by the guest. For an additional cost, it is available to rent from the host.

The house is located in a small neighbourhood area, there is also a newly built loft in a building next to the lake house which will be available to rent as well.
