Monthly Rentals in Sunny Cove Beach

I greatly enjoyed my stay at the cottage! The cottage was well-equipped, and the location is convenient to explore from. Sarah was a very kind, welcoming, and responsive host.

Now I want to live in Santa Cruz! This house, original and full of character and impeccably maintained, is in a fabulous location, on a large lot, near (a two minute walk) one of the better beaches, imho. Sunny Cove beach, local Bodega grocery store as well as stocked liquor store, Brewery and a significant Sunday Farmers Market are all within 1 - 5 minute walk. Killer local coffee shops are either a 3 minute drive or a 15 minute walk. We cooked a lot and enjoyed both the large front yard and private back yard area each day - the kitchen has everything you need, as does the house - think beach chairs, toys for the kids if you have, umbrella, pots and pans, etc, really it is truly well stocked. Carrie is an amazing host - never out of touch, responding to anything within minutes and proactively suggesting things too (YES to special dinner at the iconic Shadybrook, thank you again Carrie!) We will definitely be back.

What a perfect spot for visiting Santa Cruz! After days spent exploring the fabulous state parks and delicious wines, this spot was the perfect place to come home to and relax, walk down to the beach and feel what it would be like to be a resident. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and having access to a washer and dryer was an added plus. Would highly recommend!

The location is incredible. Right in front of the beach (although the trail down to beach is a bit of a challenge, but very doable! You can also walk around and enter the beach from the back road), the end of the block has beautiful views up and down the coast. 1 block to Starbucks and other restaurants. Easy parking. The house is comfortable, clean, and covers all the essentials. The main draw is definitely the location. Friendly host, good value, we would definitely return.
