Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sumène

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

The house is just amazing! It's big and comfortable, has any kitchenware you could ever need to prepare any dinner imaginable and even more! The garden is simply beautiful, our cat was beyond happy to explore every corner of it. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was already too cold to swim, but it adds to the beauty of the garden and we just enjoyed sitting by it in the sun. Thank you Jean-Philippe and Brigitte, for this amazing place. We will be happy to return some day!

Mooi huis, heel rustig gelegen, kraaknet en goed ingerichte keuken. Vanop het terras prachtig zicht op de bergen. Conciërge Jerome en Cathy waren vlot bereikbaar. Wel smalle weg naar het huis, auto is noodzakelijk.

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

Beau gîte, fonctionnel, bien situé, dans un charmant petit village, un jardin magnifique dans un cadre idyllique . La communication ne se fait pas directement avec l’hôte mais avec une conciergerie qui gère très bien les échanges et l’organisation.

Lovely apartment with great attention to detail, well accessible by car. It was surprisingly spacious and extremely well equiped. We loved it and can definitely recommend! It's a more isolated village, but lots of nature and activities to do nearby

Wir hatten eine ganz tolle und erholsame Zeit in Célias außergewöhnlichem und stylischem kleinen Haus! Sofort haben wir uns wohl und willkommen gefühlt, alles war genau wie beschrieben und darüber hinaus fehlte es an nichts! Célia hat sich wirklich Mühe gegeben und viel Liebe in die Ausstattung und Design gesteckt! Wir waren Anfang Juni in dem kleinen Dorf am Fluss und haben die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit dort sehr genossen, Badestellen sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar wenn es heiß ist. Auch sonst kann man vieles sportliches. unternehmen- Célia gibt sehr genaue Hinweise. Im Restaurant „Bouchon Cévenol“ in Chamborigaud haben wir hervorragend gegessen!

Séjour ressourçant loin des tumultes contemporains. La région est superbe et préservée, recélant une diversité de paysages où marcher et faire silence en soi, sans oublier les baignades lorsque il fait trop chaud. Le cabanon est un lieu rare, accueillant, ouvert sur la respiration des châtaigniers et du cerisier, très confortable et subtilement agencé, habité de maints détails délicats loin du formatage ambiant (le balai est même une œuvre d’art !). Les alentours bien que proches du village, sont magnifiques, nature vive où se balader au crépuscule, et admirer le lever de pleine lune pourpre derrière les montagnes lorsque pleine lune il y a ! J’ai même croisé un renard, et entendu le hululement des chouettes ! Laurent est un hôte très bienveillant, réactif, et généreux dans ses conseils pour découvrir au mieux cette région. Cerise sur le gâteau, la présence de Rock, jeune chien espiègle et adorable. Je recommande à 100 % !

Un séjour exceptionnel dans un lieu d’exception. Un grand merci à Yann pour son accueil chaleureux, sa conversation, sa gentillesse et ses conseils. Nous avons passé quelques jours merveilleux à Vézénobres. La maison, l’extérieur, le village… tout était parfait. Allez y les yeux fermés, pour un séjour au paradis. 😍

excellent séjour , logement incroyable en terme de confort et de goût , seul bémol le bruit du moteur du jacuzzi mais bon ça n'empêche pas d'en profiter pleinement, je recommande vivement

Great place in the center of Montpellier, spacious, very nicely decorated, with books and toys for every age (especially if you are a family with children), nice kitchen and bathroom, good beds. The hosts are also very friendly and responsive, would definitely recommend to others.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Julien. Le quartier est tranquille, proche de la vieille ville et de la gare à pied. De bons petits restaurants à proximité. L'immeuble est très calme. L'appartement est confortable, bien équipé, bien décoré ; une bonne literie. Le contact avec Julien est aisé. Nous le recommandons.

Nous avons vécu une parenthèse inattendu chez Cinthia. Le moindre détail est pensé pour notre bien être. Nous avons passé de bons moments de partage et de rires. Nous avons découvert pleins d'appareils de détente qu'on peut facilement acheter. Nous n'avons pas pu tout essayer en 3 jours, c'est trop court. Nous reviendrons, c'est obligé.

Amaury’s place was stunning and in a great location. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was spacious and clean and it was easy to find and walk from the station. Amaury was responsive and helpful throughout. Would recommend.

Une belle maison avec un extérieur exceptionnel : cadre et vue magnifiques, terrain de jeu pour petits et grands, piscine, accès à la rivière, de nombreux petits coins bien agréables pour se reposer (un hamac en prime !). La cuisine est grande et très bien équipée, la salle à manger et le salon, agréables. Très bonne literie également ! Bon à savoir : il faut passer dans la chambre avec lits simples pour accéder aux deux autres chambres et à une salle d'eau.

Le séjour s'est très bien passé de l'accueil de Francine et Gilles jusqu'au départ. Une bouteille de rosé pour agrémenter l'arrivée après la route, des cerises offertes au cours du séjour ce qui nous a beaucoup plu. Le jacuzzi était très confortable. La montée en température parfaite. Le logement était très propre, la cuisine grande et fonctionnelle, le séjour spacieux, la chambre confortable et la salle d'eau très propre et pratique. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié ce séjour. Sans doute le plus agréable depuis que nous voyageons ensemble et partons en AirBnB. En plus, Quissac est une commune fort bien desservie en commerces avec une mention à la boucherie dont la viande et la charcuterie étaient somptueuses. Il est très probable que nous reviendrons. My wife, eight month old daughter and I had a wonderful 7 nights stay at Nathalie’s place. As other reviews have described it’s very peaceful and the view from the terrace is second to none. We had many bbqs and the heated pool was a big plus. The house had all amenities and Nathalie was always quick and helpful to come back on any questions we had. Thank you for a great stay!

We were a group of 11 ppl, and enjoyed our stay. The host was available everytime, location great and clean with a lot of thing to do in the area. We will come back for sure

What an amazing place! It was everything we hoped for and more! Nestled in the heart of nature, the setting was absolutely serene—surrounded by trees, birdsong, and beautiful views in every direction. Everything was perfect! The house, the view, the nature, the region, the host… all of us were very extremely happy to stay at Olivier’s place.

Die Atmosphäre dort ist wirklich toll. Es ist sehr ruhig und gefühlt mitten in der Natur. Trotzdem sind die großartige Bäckerei, ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein nettes Restaurant in fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Vintage-Stil der Ausstattung und der Garten mit zwei Terrassen und Pool machen den Aufenthalt perfekt. Der Pool ist sogar größer, als er auf den Bildern aussieht. Lézan ist sehr dörflich aber gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge geeignet. Die Tipps und Hinweise von Fabrice waren sehr hilfreich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und es gibt alles, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Unbedingt den Bio-Winzer nebenan besuchen und Wein kaufen!

Grande maison bien située , bien équipée et confortable. La piscine est un véritable avantage d’autant plus qu’elle est chauffée . Jérémy est efficace, disponible et très sympathique. Je recommande fortement.
