Lovely stay in this cottage that is well equipped with everything we needed.

We stayed 6 nights at Miriam's place in Makkum. It's great house with very good facilities, where nothing was missing. A large bathroom two toilets, 3 bedrooms, a large living and dining area, garden furniture, infrared cabin, washing machine and dryer - all perfect. Even our dog was allowed to travel with us. Everything was clean and communication was friendly and very proactive at all times. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The balk place is very nice. It is clean and has lots of room. The location is also excellent. I will say that as soon as I booked - within a couple of minutes I realized I screwed my dates up - not even different dates just 3 less days - 19 vs 16 … so immediately I asked to amend my mistake on the reservation- 12 hrs later I was met with a simple “no” - I then explained the situation- again - nothing but a “no” - I had to get Airbnb involved and still a no - I’m taking the high road on this one and rating the place well but the communication was awful- simple mistake made with plenty of time to amend- still “no”. I’ll say this whole experience has made me realize I enjoy hotels more - I’ve used Airbnb since it’s inception and never had such a terrible host and Airbnb support experience. There is no protection for guests…

We had a really great time at Sophie's place. There were very small inconveniences, such as stains on a duvet cover, but we were able to replace it immediately. One of the rooms was really very small and with hardly any storage space, but that was no problem for us. In total, it was an optimal accommodation for our group of 8 people without children, which provided absolute relaxation due to the large living and dining area and sauna. I'm sure we'll be back!

We had a very nice stay in Makkum. The house is in a great location and is right on the beach. It is very beautiful and well maintained. You can also quickly reach the beach promenade. We can highly recommend a stay.

The house is very spacious and very beautifully decorated. The communication works great. You are immediately in the forest on foot, it is very quiet. If you want to go to the beach, you have to drive a bit. Overall, we felt super comfortable and can highly recommend the house.

The house is super nice and very bright! Having to pay a surcharge for an earlier arrival and then finding a partially dirty house was unfortunately disappointing. Communication was fast and straightforward!

Very well maintained place, brand new, spotless in a beautiful setting.

This is a marvelous place. Martijn is an amazing host. This charming renovated school with rooms with private bathrooms was exactly what we needed. One of our group uses a wheelchair and this airbnb is wheelchair friendly. Martijn put out some ramps and showed us what a great and caring host he is.

Spacious, practical and tastefully decorated homes. We had a connected house, perfect for our group of 15 people. The beds were good, sanitary facilities were neat (shower was less due to late water pressure). Unfortunately, we experienced nuisance every night from other visitors who were singing outside late into the night and making noise, too bad!There is nothing else in the area, but for a large group it was fine.

We were about 14 people in the house and had a great time. The house was tidy and everything was new and equipped. The pool the sauna and hot tub were great as well. The living room was cozy and decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped. The only criticism is that basic things in the kitchen today are missing: coffee, tea, pepper salt. We also had to buy toilet papers because there were not enough. On top of that, we really enjoyed the house and the hosts.

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

Very nice and pleasant stay, spacious and clean. A nice communication with host, who has also been very helpful. For which thanks again. Flexible arrival depending on the cleaning work. Also good communication about this. Had a wonderful weekend, despite the bad weather, with 6 adults. Loved the stay here. The location was perfect and the town was a great location to visit for a couple days

Jeannette and Peter are very sweet hosts! We had good and friendly communication,...They gave us many tips. Check-in could even be earlier than expected. We would book the house in the beautifully landscaped park again anytime.

We found everything as described and had a splendid time! Especially the fence around the garden was a relief for the parents amongst us. All the small water channels could have been a great danger. :) our kids enjoyed the garden, the playground and everything else a lot! And us grown ups the house and it’s amenities. Thanks!

A wonderful stay. Recommended! There is light, space, super clean, nice spacious garden, very fully equipped. Spacious enough for 6 adults, good beds. Excellent location, located in a well-maintained park, feels private. Good location for cycling and excursions. We felt at home and at ease.

A very nice place for a short weekend in Holland. The place was as described and we felt very much at home. Only the ventilation from the bathroom is very much heard in one room if you have a light sleep... 😊
