Literally the perfect place for a weekend getaway — hot tub, bbq, and firepit - plus a walk to a good pub nearby. Had an amazing time and all went very smoothly. Will definitely be coming back!

Amazing lodge, very clean and had all the amenities needed. We stayed for 1 night for my husband’s birthday and the little touches were lovely. A bottle of prosecco and orange juice plus milk in the fridge, toiletries in the bathroom and robes for the hot tub! The hot tub was so nice, especially sitting inside and taking in the views! We had a lovely weekend at Suzanne’s place. The surroundings were beautiful and so peaceful. The hot tub was the highlight and we spent a very relaxing weekend in it. The place itself is so clean and has a lovely layout. Suzanne and her husband were so friendly and were always reachable if need be. We will definitely be back. Rachael and Sarah :)

A great stay for our family. The perfect getaway from the madness of every day parent life! We enjoyed a 2 hour exploration across the acres of land nearby and some relaxation in the well maintained hot tub. The place was a home from home and extremely well kept. In the evening there were a few creepy crawlies, but expected in the countryside! The king sized bed was ever so comfy and the children slept well in the single bedroom next door. We would 100% recommend this place and would love to come back in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay in one of the cabins! Easy instructions to find, and ample parking. Beautiful landscaping around the pod cabins, and although there were others, it felt very secluded and private. Very quiet and loved hearing the horses and birds. The wood fired hot tub was AMAZING and was the perfect place to catch up with friends. BBQ made for easy dining and we were able to sit out on the patio. Small inside (for 4 people) but perfectly formed and had absolutely everything we needed. Loved our stay and hope to return!

We rented John’s hut to spend a day at the beach with friends. The hut was exactly as described and very well located, close to the cafesnand shops, the toilets, and the parking spaces. It contained everything you can need for a perfect day at the beach! Would definitely recommend it and would consider renting it again in the future.

The lodge was very clean and comfortable. There was so many little touches, which Kate had in the lodge, including the emergency toiletries and homemade cookies, which was such a lovely gesture. The lodge was fully equipped with all essentials, Kate has really thought of everything. We walked to the local pub for a drink and the locals were so friendly. Any questions which I had, were answered in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this lodge and give it a 5 star rating.

Loved our couple of nights in this wonderful cabin. Cozy but spacious and very comfortable and well equipped. Quiet, peaceful location. Highly recommend the wine tour. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic lodge, just as described, spotlessly clean, everything you could need. Ideally located to visit Maldon, Burnham, Leigh on sea etc. Good choice of country inns and cafes. Would definately stay again.

An absolutely delightful Airbnb - a cabin in a lovely garden behind the owners' thatched cottage - quiet and secluded, and in a pretty village. The interior, of one large room en suite, is well laid out and tastefully decorated and furnished. Fresh flowers, and homemade flapjacks and elderflower cordial on arrival, were a nice touch. My wife and I are unfamiliar with Essex and were pleasantly surprised by the villages and surrounding countryside. We regret not staying longer to see more of the county. Next time perhaps!

Liz was a fantastic host- so friendly and helpful. Finding the location could have been challenging, but she was more than accommodating to make sure we found the AirBnB after a long drive/arriving at night. The place was clean, just like the photos. Liz was a lovely host to communicate back and forth with- and she was even generous enough to allow a late check-out. Would highly recommend staying here!

Had a great weekend get away from London, barely a 2 hr drive. The cabin we stayed was very comfortable for 4 guests. Clean & had lot of amminites. We had a private outdoor space which was great for a morning coffe or a sundowner. Jane was a very accomodating host, super responsive and had the best local reccomendations for us. All in all we had a great time at this property. Suerly reccomended.

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely lovely. It was a last minute bookings but Alex and Amy were very helpfully. Before we arrived the heating was turned on so we arrived to a very toasty cabin :), there is two double beds, a very comfortable cosy front room area with a tv, the kitchen had everything you needed including a large fridge with a freezer, the surrounding were beautiful especially at night you can see a lot of stars, we did arrive later then normal so was a little bit hard seeing where we going as it was dark (that’s our fault) but Alex saw us a little confused on his drive and helped straight away, was very peaceful and quite area, was 5-10 mins drive from everything. Would 100% stay again.

We had a fantastic stay! The caravan was absolutely lovely — very clean, spacious, and well looked after. It had everything we needed and felt really comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect for the wedding we were attending nearby, it was walking distance to the venue which made everything so convenient. A big shoutout to the host Scarlet, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay — quick to respond and even offered to help with check-in. Truly top-notch customer service! Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you!

A beautiful setting, the dome in the garden was a real added bonus and the garden lights and decor were a lovely touch. So much outside space, you could easily add another cabin and still have I plenty of privacy and space. Well equipped kitchen and very clean bathroom. We couldn’t get to WiFi to connect and the tv signal was patchy but didn’t bother us as we didn’t really need either. Thanks for a lovely stay.

beautiful lodge in a quiet area which would be great for any fishing fans. only 30-40 mins from a selection of great beaches too, so an ideal location for exploring the area. Ruth was a great host and even dropped off some freshly laid eggs and some plastic cups for the hot tub!

Fantastic place to stay, Peter was very responsive, friendly and gave clear instructions. Although we were allocated a different lodge to the one we thought we had booked, we were happy with the lodge and its beautiful surroundings. Will definitely stay here again.

My favorite place to say when in beautiful Cambridge! Located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, but an easy walk to all the colleges, restaurants, and all the wonderful things the heart of Cambridge has to offer. Look forward to my next visit!
