Great place to stay. Fantastic location - very close to centre of town, just yards away from the Market Square. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. My stay there could not have been more enjoyable.

No one could enter No 3 and not smile. It is enchanting. Fab location for walks straight out of the door , access to Fountains/Ripon/Pateley Bridge. Quiet hamlet with particularly beautiful chapel with boxed pews and lovely clear windows. Coffee grinder, beans, biscuits, eggs and milk to great you. And colours that make you feel you ve landed in some whimsical film set. We loved it all.

We have just returned home after spending 2 nights at the annex over the Twixmas period. What a fabulous property this is. It was so warm and cosy. We truly appreciated the addition of the Xmas decorations, along with the wonderful welcome hamper provided. We met Sheila on our final day and so pleased to meet in person. Lovely lady and truly a super host. We would highly recommend this property for all your holiday needs. A true home from home in a great location, close to all the amenities in Bedale. Had a lovely stay at Ivy cottage. Brilliant peaceful location if you’re looking to visit Fountains Abbey, which is only a 5-10 min drive down the road. Cottage had everything you need for a comfortable stay and whilst we didn’t meet the hosts in person, Caroline and Karen were friendly and responsive over message, especially with recommending places to eat in the local area.
