Monthly Rentals in Stoneykirk

This was a great place to stay with plenty of room and in an ideal location. It took us a minute to find it because Google maps wasn’t very helpful as far as the specific location but once we found it, check in was very smooth!

Stunning property, perfect location for the Forest and Mull of Galloway. We are regular visitors to the area. Catherine’s place has just gone straight to the top of places I will book if it’s free.

This was perhaps the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in, and if you like calm, elegant, beautifully decorated, spacious accommodation you will also love it. It has such a relaxing atmosphere, and although the owners are in the adjoining house there is always a sense of peace and privacy. Gorgeous gardens, too, with views out of the windows into the greenery. The free-standing-bath-in-the-bedroom experience is every bit as good as you'd imagine, and the bedlinen, duvet and pillows are high quality and really comfortable. The kitchen has everything you'd need, including storage space for your own food. Not all cottage owners think of that, but Philip and Lesley have. We are very grateful to them for turning this wing of the house into such a wonderful place to stay.

We had the best 2 night stay in the Shepards hut ! From being surrounded by the absolutely stunning gardens, meeting the wild ducks and peahen 🦚 🦆 to exploring the absolutely stunning coastline and the Galloway forest park it really had everything we could have asked for and more. Our Hosts were absolutely lovely and did everything to make sure we had an epic stay. We loved having the gardens to ourselves it felt like we’d walked into another world. The bed was super comfy and the hut had everything we needed for our stay ! It was so cozy and clean and we will definitely come back in the near future ! It’s located perfectly as well with the tearoom on site and only being a 15 minute drive from Stranraer and 13 minute drive away from the Kitchen Coos and Ewes which we highly recommend doing whilst in the area if you want to get up close and cuddle and groom highlands cows.
