I can say enough about his beautiful Airbnb. My husband and I stayed for four nights, and Alistair and Maria were the most gracious hosts. From start to finish we felt welcomed and cared for, and the cottage itself - not to mention the grounds - was simply gorgeous. Nestled in the little town of Macciano, the cottage has great proximity to so many beautiful towns, attractions, and restaurants. We took multiple little day trips and were able to cover a lot of ground, and still be home in time for a dip in the pool and a glass of Prosecco with our charming hosts. Maria even offered to cook with me one night, and I had the opportunity to learn about the local fare, all lovingly made from scratch by Maria. This is a very, very special place filled with beauty and tranquility. We can't wait to go back!!

We loved everything in this house, a beautiful Umbrian country house that feels like home away from home and where you just want to stay! From the beautiful view to the quality of bedding, rooms, plenty of exquisite details such as scented soaps from the area, tons of bath and hand towels in the bathrooms to the so many corners outside where you can either be together or find your own place to read, everything was perfect! A great pool as well that sadly we could not try because of bad weather in may (lots of rain), olive trees in the garden, plenty of plants and 2 beautiful, laid back house cats. The owner Flavio also went as far as ordering a birthday cake for my daughter and insisted that this was his gift, together with a bottle of bubbly. Caroline was always reactive and helped us to sort out trains , so all in all very friendly hosts. 5 stars! The only downside is the road to go to the house, you need a good car as the last part of the road is a steep climb!

Great place to spend time with family and or friends. The house is beautiful and you should plan to spend time in it.

Fantastic place, just as promised in the photos and the description. The atmosphere is excellent, the place is beautifully furnished and arranged, a real experience. The hosts, as well as their local help, are very kind and helpful. This is a perfect place for a quiet holiday and there are a lot of wonderful towns to visit from here. You will feel like you are a local Umbrian resident.

Beautiful house surrounded by greenery and nature. Very clean with lots of bathrooms and beds. We were just sorry that the pool was empty, but we understand that in April the days are not always warm yet. Highly recommended in warmer months to spend more time outdoors. Garden and pool look much larger than in photos and not elevated on a small hill outside the main outdoor patio. The owners are very kind and also offered to take a friend of ours to the Perugia station, much appreciated! They were also very flexible on check-in time and welcomed us in person :) Thanks again!

A mini garden of Eden with safety, great communication, and a clean, cozy space. It was a peaceful escape from our hectic American lives and the perfect place to land as our first stop in Italy. The dogs became our best buds and it was a treat to see my favorite animals, peacocks. If ever I am so lucky to return, this home would be on my list.

The location is perfect, offering a secluded retreat while still being conveniently close to the area's main attractions. The villa is nestled in a picturesque olive tree field, providing stunning views that are truly breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly with a lovely welcome basket that set the tone for our stay. The host was extremely nice and responsive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. They even sent us recommendations of things to do in the area, which made our trip even more enjoyable and memorable. The villa was impeccably clean and very family-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen is fully equipped, allowing us to prepare meals comfortably, and the addition of a sauna and hot tub added a luxurious touch to our vacation. Overall, this villa exceeded our expectations in every way!

The property was exceptional, it was even more spectacular than the photos! The garden and pool were truly amazing. The house and studio were spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished and equipped; Antonio and Brunella have an amazing eye for design and detail. They were great hosts who met us when we arrived and showed us around. It was raining when we arrived, and they even lent us umbrellas! We visited local areas ... Perugia and Assisi were stunning. We ate a the restaurant next door, which was also amazing (you need to book ahead). I would highly recommend this property, we were all sorry to leave this idyll.
