Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Stari Grad

We spent an incredible 6 nights here. The views are out of this world. We loved the easy access to Sveta Nedilja's small but beautiful beach just below the house. The property has so many options for outside seating and lounging, and every corner is as beautiful as the next. We also loved the local restaurant, a 2 minute walk away! Marija is a wonderful, warm and kind host who made us feel so welcome. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Was a great place to stay and the pool was excellent. Really quick walk to the centre for supermarket, bars, cafes and restaurants so we liked the location. The place was clean and had all we needed. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had, we’d stay again.

Very nice Airbnb ran by a lovely woman!! It was pretty central and worked very well for us. Would recommend!

A beautiful and comfortable apartment for our family of four in a convenient location to explore Stari Grad. The kitchen had everything we needed and the rooftop terrace was perfect for coffee/tea in the mornings and wine in the evenings. Michael has everything you need (inflatables, water shoes, beach towels and more) for a day on the sea which was a really nice touch. We loved the comprehensive guide book with amazing recommendations. We would definitely come back and highly recommend a stay here!

My whole family was obsessed with this place. The adults loved the beautiful scenery and the peacefulness and the kids loved the hot tub and the swings. The house is adorable and very nice and the views were even better than the pictures. We loved meandering around Humac and being close to so many interesting small villages to explore. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat on the island of Hvar, you will be hard pressed to find something better than Mario’s place.

We had the most wonderful stay at Teraunah. The house and surroundings are perfect - everything has been thought through and designed to perfection. It had everything we wanted and more, with lots of beautiful stylish touches that made it relaxing and calm. It feels private and remote, yet you are short drive to beautiful historic towns and so many beautiful bays with clear waters to swim in. Neda and Adnan were friendly, helpful, responsive and provided a great welcome pack. We all (kids aged 9 and 12) loved it and can’t wait to go back. Thank you Neda and Adnan, you have created the most perfect peaceful haven 🌈

Our stay at Mia’s place was great. Communication with Mia was excellent from the start, very responsive and helpful, which made planning our arrival super easy. We chose the self check-in option and it couldn’t have been more straightforward. Everything was clearly explained and went smoothly. The place was exactly as described, comfortable, well equipped and in a great location, with a beautiful view of the fortress. The island itself is beautiful. It was a great time. Peta is very welcoming. Hyper responsive, attentive! We had a pleasant stay. Brusje is a small peaceful village in the middle of lavender fields. Accessible by scooter from Hvar. The accommodation is clean, the private terrace is great for dinners facing the sunsets. And the pool in the middle of the garden is great for cooling off. Nothing to say about this home! It's just perfect. Don't forget to stop by the corner to say hello to Peter's mom. She sells lavender-based products. She is very warm and kind! I would recommend it without so much as a second thought! Thanks again.

The apartment was spotless and communication before and during our stay excellent. The morning coffee and evening drink on the balcony overlooking the town and port was lovely. As we arrived earlier than check in it was nice being told to come and drop bags and sit by the pool. As it turned out the room was ready which was great. On our last day we were again offered the opportunity to check out late as our ferry was until the afternoon. Highly recommended

The apartament was compact and nice, equipped with everything someone can ask for, Marija and her family are very friendly and respond quickly for questions. Worth it!

We had a wonderful stay in Jelsa – the accommodation was exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing vacation. It is peacefully and idyllically located, yet just a 5-minute walk from the center of Jelsa, making it the perfect base for exploring the town and the island of Hvar. Our host Benko was absolutely fantastic – very friendly, helpful, and always available whenever we had questions or needed recommendations. You can tell right away that he genuinely cares about the well-being of his guests. The accommodation itself was clean, well-maintained, and well-equipped, with everything you need. We felt very comfortable and welcome, and truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. We would come back anytime and can highly recommend staying with Benko!

Beautiful place with a very friendly and accommodating host. Spacious apartment with good amenities, new appliances, pleasant mattresses for a nice sleep, and a grill zone. The apartment has all the necessary things for comfortable staying there. Everything that we needed was there. We had a really good time!

The apartment is located in the middle of Stari Grad, surrounded by very nice restaurants, shops, by car there are various Beaches are within easy reach, as described. Since we were there outside the high season and arrived by plane, no cafes/bars are open near the beaches, but a little more equipment for taking to eat in the kitchen would be an advantage (with beach bag). And, if possible, a simple espresso machine (e.g. for on the stove) as well as espresso cups. Otherwise, we felt very comfortable, very nice contact and recommended.

Silvija’a place is a great gem in the center of Stari Grad. The apartment had everything we needed to relax, cook, and enjoy. As a host, she is unmatched. So communicative and friendly, ready with recommendations and also checking in on me to see what she could do or provide for my stay. She brought me fresh lemons and mint when she dropped off fresh linens, such a treat. I do hope to come back and would easily prefer to stay anywhere Silvija would have available.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. We stayed here on the last leg of our honeymoon and it was one of our favorites. The location was unmatched. In town but just far enough to be away from the late night noise. Don’t even get me started on the amazing coffee place right below!! Best coffee we had in all of Europe. The place was clean and so cute. It also came with beach towels which we found a lot of other places we stayed didn’t. This was so convenient as we didn’t want to waste packing space for towels in our luggage. The host greeted us and gave us so many recommendations for food and things to do. The first night we went to the restaurant that he actually worked out and it was soo good and so well priced. He went out of his way to come say hello when he saw us. One morning we were heading out and his mom was outside walking (they live upstairs I believe) and she introduced herself and was the kindest woman. All in all it was an amazing stay and would 100% recommend!!

Fabulous apartment in a great location with an amazing and memorable view. Apartment is comfortable with great amenities. Everything’s well thought out. Great bedding, plenty of towels, hooks, laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, and a bottle of wine! The espresso machine was fantastic! He met us at the ferry dock and helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. Perfect stay! Highly recommend! The view from the apartment balcony is the best!

We spent a week at this beautiful lower level condo. Had a great view and walkable to town of Hvar and the beach. We did have a car so we did explore other beaches throughout the Island. We loved the fast food restaurant right next door and the shaded parking.

Maya, her son, and father are amazing!!! Very friendly and accommodating. We spent the most time here during our 2 week Euro trip. Fantastic views from the balcony and a great place to relax with lounge chairs and a table to eat at. Right on the water with a great walk down to the shore where you can jump right into the sea! Space was modern, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was SO nice. By far the nicest bathroom of anywhere we stayed. Maya's father took us out on his boat with his beagle. It was amazing. He knew the best spots, shared cool information/stories. It was a very authentic/non touristy experience. Maya let us borrow snorkel gear and that was beyond awesome because we snorkeled in the sea by the house but also on our boat trip which was truly special. She also provided homemade olive oil which was divine. WONDERFUL experience and stay.

Fantastic location on the water. We were greeted every morning by the bright blue sea and were able to swim a lap in this small private bay. The terrace of the apartment or the entire outdoor area were lovingly designed, perfect for relaxing in a quiet environment. We will be happy to come back!

My stay at this Airbnb was fantastic! The host was super friendly and the place was clean and cozy. I loved the location and had a great time exploring the area. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it! 😊

Our stay at the accommodation was fantastic, very clean and pleasant! The kitchen was very good ripped out with everything we needed to cook. Close to several beaches and the boardwalk was very nice! Marija was very helpful as a host!

We had the best time at this place. The location was amazing. It had a great view of the water and was a close walk from the town and the water. Anamarija was so welcoming and sweet. I could not have kinder words for her as a host. The apartment looks brand new and is in amazing condition. Could not recommend more!
