Beautiful location, lovely village, comfortable place and walkable to food. We loved staying here.

We were lucky with a sunny and dry day to discover the area. However, the house itself is excellent to be able to entertain you inside, should the weather be bad. Everything you need is available. Julie and Torbjørn are super nice people. We had a nice chat with them.

We had a fantastic stay at Anne-Marthe's apartment in Bergen. The apartment was beautiful, and we were lucky to enjoy great weather during our visit. Anne-Marthe was a thoughtful and attentive host, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable. While there were a few minor hiccups, Anne-Marthe responded quickly and professionally, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would happily stay again. Her care for her guests’ experience really shines through, and we’d definitely recommend her place!

The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything a guest on the road might need—from kitchen essentials to thoughtful little touches that made it feel like home. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the host went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Extremely helpful and responsive—truly appreciated. Olaf, Your place was amazing, the scenery was breathtaking — but your kindness, and hospitality were second to none. Really a fantastic location if you’re wanting to vacation in Flåm. We took the train from Flåm to Myrdal Norway - Zip line to bikes - and then biking to Flam. We had lunch at the restaurant on the water in Undredal. Unbelievably beautiful. Thank you Olaf, you helped make our trip truly special!!

We had a wonderful time here, plenty of room for four adults with room to spare! Nice touches of comfort and style throughout the home. It is important to note there are no restaurants or grocery stores walkable, we appreciated knowing that ahead of check in. The 40 minute ride to downtown Bergen and 10-20 minute ride to food options was minor compared to the wonderful, beautiful place! Great kitchen and outdoor grilling area to prepare food. Responsive, friendly hosts!! Would definitely stay here again!!!

Bekka’s home was our favorite place to stay in all of Norway! We have come to Norway every year for 7 years and absolutely love to come to Balestrand to relax and this place is the best place to feel at home away from home! We loved just hanging out inside her cozy cottage… but we also loved being able to walk to Ciderhuset for an absolutely incredible cider tasting that was paired with such delectable and unique flavors for lunch. We took a walk up the hill for spectacular views of the expansive Sognefjord. We walked into town for a nice dinner near the water at Pear by Harbor right near the ferry dock. We loved sipping our coffee while the sun popped up over the mountain. Loved our time here. We want to come back! We did NOT want to leave!

We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return! The home was clean, and well equipped. We spent all of our evenings on the deck enjoying the fresh air and gorgeous view (there was even a heat lamp to keep us warm). The home was a short drive from many hiking and biking opportunities.

Roar was very helpful and responsive The place was amazing and had everything we needed from it, for the restaurants and groceries you had to drive only for 8 minutes which is easy I liked the place and I would recommend it for anyone

Feeling like home as soon as you open the main door, that is the feeling we had the very first moment we stepped in. Very clean, cozy and decorated with absolute taste. It is one of the most equipped places I have ever been... there is everything you can imagine and that you might need. And everything is perfectly organized and clean that it makes it easy to use and put it back where it belongs. 10 minutes drive from the house you have a 24/7 small super market open where you can get anything you need. The house deserves the absolutely maximum possible star rating and so does the host. Smart advice: do follow the instructions of the host to find it... google maps does not help. We had a wonderful 3-nights stay at Helga’s wonderful apartment. Very easy to find and check in, amazing views from the apartment and rooftop terrace on 15th floor where we started and ended up our days. A cozy, clean and well equipped apartment where we found everything what we needed and much more! Comfortable beds and nice shower! A nice walk to the city over the pedestrian bridge. Helga was a great host, proactive and pleasant in her communication including all local tips which was very helpful.

This was one of the nicest Airbnbs in my years of traveling to Norway. Would definitely come again. The amenities are in great condition. Apartment is clean and comfortable. A cozy place to spend time in a beautiful location.

Loved staying here! The view from the terrace is beautiful, so peaceful and quiet. Apartment had everything we wanted and Janne was a great host, would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay while in Bergen! Loads of room and a very modern look. Having two bathrooms was great and the beds were super comfortable. We felt that the location was very walkable. Perhaps best of all was that Tonje-Christin was very friendly and communicative and was a helpful source of information! We would stay again.

Mathilde was a wonderful host. She gave us great restaurant recommendations. The apartment was extremely clean and bright. The apartment is centrally located. It is close to great restaurants, coffee shops, etc. We absolutely loved our stay! We hope to be back.

I felt completely comfortable in the accommodation! It is very cozily furnished, super clean and a real little oasis of well-being. Everything you need was there – from kitchen equipment to loving details that made the stay particularly pleasant. The hostess was very warm and helpful. The connection to the city was also easily accessible by public transport. I can only recommend the place and would love to come back!

A house with a stunning view!! The location is perfect, with a supermarket right behind you. The hosts are extremely friendly and ready to help with anything. The place is fully equipped with everything you might need. My family and I really enjoyed our stay!

Very nice place with all amenities you might need for a long stay (although ours was unfortunately rather short). Cleanliness is the main winning point for us.
