Vacation rentals with a kayak in Smiths Lake

Amazing! Ainslie and Dan were fantastic hosts & the property just delightful, well and truly exceeding our expectations. The property is well furnished, beautifully styled, immaculate and well equipped with everything you could possible need for a relaxing stay. The additional fridge and pantry items were a lovely surprise and meant we could settle in without the need to feel rushed to get the shops. The location was perfect being so close to essential amenities with the views of Lake Macquarie just superb. We particularly enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the balcony watching the sunrise. The house and the location are perfect for a family wanting to be on the lake doing water sports. The house itself is well set up and view is very special. Kate the host was friendly and easy to deal with. My family and I will definitely be booking again.

Richard was a fantastic host! The accommodation was comfortable, and in a great location. It is a very family-friendly place, with everything we needed to feel right at home. What an amazing home and location. If I could give more than 5 stars for every aspect I would. The home was definitely a home away from home where everything you could imagine was stocked and provided in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas. Siting on the deck and watching the beautiful Wallis Lake view was so relaxing. The Recky Club directly across the road made dinner and drinks most nights so easy and not to mention, so cheap. I couldn't even make a meal for $12 per person - AMAZING! Julie was super responsive, accommodating and gave us some great tips and ideas for local sights, restaurants and things to do. I can not recommend this stay highly enough and would definitely love to return one day. Lisa & David

The house was perfect to sleep 21 of us and the hosts were very helpful and accommodating leading up to the booking. The house was big and have everything we needed. Becky was available to answer a few phone calls which was very helpful. Would definitely recommend this property for a large group.

This is a lovely place to stay, very comfortable, clean, people in the area are very friendly, the area itself is gorgeous. The kangaroos come to visit the front yard often and are very sweet to watch, lots of beautiful birds around too. Great views, quiet, homely, neighbours very helpful and friendly. Everything you need, great set up kitchen. I was there for over a month and had no problems at all, had an amazing stay and would stay again if in the area. Great that it’s dog friendly, nice yard for dogs and safely enclosed. Highlights in the area would be the wildlife, the beaches, walking around Nerong, the bakery at Tea Gardens and Tea Gardens Kombucha, absolutely delicious and if you go in they will give you a little tasting to try the kombucha flavours which is a bit fun. Cliff was very helpful in sending through lots of suggestions of places we could visit during our stay. The accommodation is well maintained and in a very quiet area for a relaxing stay. it is also a reasonably short drive from local beaches and facilities in Forster, the lake is only a short walk down the road, and our dog was comfortable in the fully enclosed back yard. We enjoyed our time staying here.

Well appointed. So many items supplied in kitchen and bathrooms that I have not seen at any other AIRBNB. Easy access. Very clean and well stocked with cleaning items and supplies incase of an accident or spill so you clean up and continue to enjoy your stay. Location close to cafes and restaurants at Lemon Tree Passage. So many recreational items in shed to help you enjoy the coastal location and water ways. Julie took the time to reach out to us when we did not reply to emails as we were travelling and not opening our laptop and lodging in every day about dietary requirements re type of milk to put in fridge. In conclusion well done Julie you are a credit as a super host.

We had an amazing stay! The place was fantastic – clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. Kate was incredibly responsive and friendly, making everything super easy. The jetty was a highlight, with plenty of activities to keep us entertained. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun getaway!

Great place, with amazing views. Lisa's place brought our families together and helped create some fantastic memories. Neighbours are very friendly. The water view and ocean breeze was quite relaxing. We even had a friendly neighbour selling some great bananas from their garden. Very private setting where you can go for strolls whilst enjoying the view.

Grant was excellent host and we enjoyed staying at his place very much. Encourage people who want to take rest and recharge from busy city life!

We had a lovely stay in this unique home. Fantastic for the kids and Monique was a great communicator and very accommodating.

We loved Mansfield on Manning. My family stayed for a week and spent a few days mountain biking in the excellent set up in the nearby Kiwarrak state forest, swam in the lovely pool, kayaked, did an easy bike ride in Taree along the river, walked our dog on the beach at Old Bar, had a few lovely meals at the cafes recommended and read a lot on the deck overlooking the property and river. Highly recommend for a great get away.

The hosts were very responsive and proactive in setting the place up just how we needed to support our young family. Their descriptions and instructions were spot on and checking in was very straight forward.
