Monthly Rentals in Sjoa

We had a short but nice stay in the cabin! Definitely recommended for nature lovers! In the immediate vicinity around the cabin, red deer and elk roam, the snow hen, hare, golden plovers and foxes live, and many more species! You won't always see them, but there are plenty of traces to be found. We even heard the grouse mating at night! All in all a very pleasant and quiet stay, with great views. Climb further up to the top, you have a view of Jotunheim, Rondane and Dovrefjell (including Snøhetta) in clear weather. Also recommended! We had a great time. Thank you Herman!

Simply the best place. If your looking for a cottage in the Norwegian countryside look no further. Just come and experience it.

The two of us spent a week in the cozy Ekornhytta and felt comfortable from the first moment! The house is very well equipped (also for more people), window view of the lake, fireplace and sauna provide the Norwegian feel-good atmosphere. In the area around the house, there are many hiking trails, bike paths and cross-country trails with great views of Rondane and beyond. And the squirrel is not a marketing gimmick, it actually passed by at its feeding station. :-) Communication with Sandra and Stine as hosts is straightforward and fast!

Awesome! I would’ve given 7 stars if that was possible. The cabin is so cozy that we felt right at home. The kitchen is very well equipped and the beds are comfy. The region offers hiking trips for different training levels and the scenery is stunning. We would come back anytime!
