Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sister Bay

stayed for a second time for our 30th anniversary. They added a king bed. We love the place! its beautiful, on the water and next to a great restaurant.

Dan & Beth said they wanted us to feel at home and we certainly did! We had 7 adults in our group & we talked about the house & cost to stay there. We all agreed it was absolutely worth every cent. Dan couldn’t have been more helpful whenever we reached out with a question. Being right on the beach was magical. Fires at night with a plentiful supply of dry wood was a nice surprise! Anything you could possibly think of was at our disposal! Even the refrigerator was pristine, which in my experience, doesn’t always happen in a rental. We will miss Sandvik house!

We’ve stayed in multiple places around DoCo over the last 5 years and this was one of the best. The house matched the description and was nice and clean upon arrival. Communication was easy and timely. It’s clear Tiffany and John have put in the work to create a great experience for their guest and are continuing to invest in their property. We really liked the new fire pit and concrete and how private the property is. We booked for next year before the trip was over. I think that is about the highest vote of approval someone can give!

Erin is a fantastic host and made our visit to Door County memorable. We were a large group of 14 and Erin made everything seamless and stress free. The property is beautiful and is a short walk away from the lake and local shops. Lots of good restaurants in nearby Sister Bay within a 10 min drive. I highly recommend The Ephraim House for any group traveling to Door County. We can't wait to be back.

We had a great time staying in Fish Creek. The house feels very private surrounded by trees, but is very close to Fish Creek and Ephraim for shops and dining. We had two families sharing the house, which worked well with the downstairs queen bed +bunk room and the two bedrooms upstairs. Check in and out were very easy!

We loved our time at Chicory Hill. The house was absolutely pristine, exactly as promised in the listing-- so clean. So many warm and welcoming amenities. Beautiful house interior and beautiful backyard-- the property is just so lovely and immaculately kept. It immediately felt like home away from home. Ideal location in sister Bay, close to everything! Quick responses and friendly communication from hosts. It's clear that the hosts genuinely want their guests to have a stress free experience with every conceivable comfort during the stay. The local food recommendations in the notebook were very helpful. Chicory Hill surpassed our expectations, it was everything we had hoped for during our vacation. We won't hesitate to book again!

The house was extra clean and sparkling, and it had a good layout for our party of 4 adults to spread out and spend time in the house. The patios provided additional space to hangout and relax. The property itself was beautiful. We loved walking on the well-maintained trails that wind through the old farm fields and woods, and we were charmed by the ancient rock walls and trees and the peacefulness of it all. Communication with Ryan was great. He always responded quickly and reached out to us prior to checking in. We didn’t worry about anything because we knew Ryan was always available. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to others!

The 1900 Farmhouse was perfect for our group! Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Nice comfy beds and linens. A great kitchen where we could all gather for meals. We enjoyed the fire pit outside in the spacious and private back yard. The grainery building was open but no takers on our stay as there aren't bathroom facilities out there. A cool space nonetheless! I love that they kept some of the original interior features in the main house. It gave the place a special charm. Great central location with either side of the peninsula about 10 minutes away. The house is close to the road but no issues with traffic noise at night. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and hope to be back next summer!

Wendi and Ron were great hosts! Their place is exactly as pictured and had every amenity to my my stay comfortable. It’s a great location on the west side of Sturgeon Bay, and everything was very clean and quiet. Great internet too!

The stay overall was good and the space itself was clean and comfortable. Brad was helpful and responsive throughout. One thing I didn’t know before booking this unit is part of an existing house and there are three interior doors connecting to other parts of the home, including one that leads to someone’s porch. While all the doors were locked, they aren’t fully walled off, which raised some privacy concerns for me. The first night, I felt a bit scared and uneasy with thoughts like “what if someone walks in?” Since I wasn’t aware of this setup beforehand, I couldn’t cancel the stay. But over time, I got used to it and reminded myself everything was secure. If you’re okay with this kind of shared structure and locked but not sealed-off doors, it’s still a nice place to stay. This place was amazing! It was clean and had beautiful updates. It appeared brand new! It was spacious and perfect for our girls weekend. 3 Comfy beds and two large bathrooms suited the needs of our group of 5 and All the amenities you need for a weekend getaway!

Great place to stay! The host was very responsive and helpful and the place was very nice!

We really enjoyed Jon’s place. It’s located in a quiet area yet within an easy drive to all the attractions of Door County. The place is very spacious and could easily accommodate 6 people, but had plenty of room for the 4 of us. The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels and other amenities. We appreciated the provided coffee and the coffeemaker, as well as all included kitchen accessories. The grill on the balcony was a great addition as well and we enjoyed cooking dinner on the night of our arrival. Thank you again for a great place to stay!

This was a surprise Birthday outing with my wife Shavonda and she truly love the space and we had a wonderful time. Thank you for being such a great host and having such a welcoming space.
