Family-friendly vacation rentals in Šimuni

Quiet cottage in a good location on a very nicely landscaped property. It is only a few meters to the first "beach", and some nicer coves are within a 10-minute walk. The communication with Kristijan and his brother Danijel went smoothly, both always responded quickly and helpfully, and there were also tips on restaurants or shopping via WA. The property is fantastic with many herbs and olive trees. Unfortunately, at the time we were there (late May) there was a pretty caterpillar plague, especially on the oak at the beginning of the property, which inevitably limited the baby's crawling radius. The apartment itself has everything you need, although the coffee machine was unfortunately defective - but a replacement would have been organized if necessary ☺️ Only the parking situation is a bit difficult, as some have already written. In any case, we would like to come back, then maybe at a different time of the year😊

Marija was such a great host and very accommodating. The place was very clean and had such a great location everything was in walking distance. I would definitely come back and stay again.

Dalibor's cottage is a great place. Very clan and spacious and perfectly equipped for a short - or longer - stay. We really liked the atmosphere and leisuring on the deck and in the jacuzzi after long hikes in the neighborhood. You are a few minutes away by car from 3 large supermarkets and any styles of restaurants. Perfect place for sending time in the Plitvice area (the entrance of the Park is 20 minutes away). Super - everything about our stay at BeaRs log was fantastic. Beautifully appointed, incredibly clean, comfortable & in wonderful surrounds. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Dragana was very responsive & helpful. Would highly recommend staying at BeaRs Log. The only unfortunate thing is the bar has been set very high for the next accommodation on our holiday!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy apartment in Zadar. The space was absolutely spotless and looked just like the pictures—if not better! The terrace was a highlight, with plenty of comfortable seating and a hot tub we enjoyed a couple of times each day. It was the perfect place to relax after exploring. The location was great—walkable to Old Town Zadar, or just a quick and affordable Uber ride away. Our hosts, Mate and Martina, were fantastic—excellent communicators and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. They made everything easy and welcoming. We felt right at home here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Villa Dabo is a beautiful villa with a perfect outdoor area. The pool and grill area as well as the garden are the ideal place to relax and enjoy a good time with friends and family. The villa is very private and only 10 minutes from Novalja town and 15 minutes from Zrcé beach.

What you see on the pictures is what you get! Absolutely amazing location, we think the best possible house on that stretch of the coast. We stayed before the height of the season, so I can't speak for the rest of the summer, but for us it was very calm, quiet, and uncrowded. The apartment is small but cozy, has everything you need, the balcony is a godsend to enjoy the view and soak in the sea breeze. Vesna was a great host, very accommodating and communicative, really did her best to keep us well-informed and feeling welcome. We would confidently recommend this place!

Mrs. Nikolina has a beautiful accommodation that is highly recommended if you come to Zadar. The accommodation is beautiful, clean, has everything you need in the apartment for a comfortable stay. We had quick and excellent communication with the host and I will definitely return to that apartment again

Dear host, the place is in a nice place. Around the house is quiet, nature. Mama lives there from spring to fall, she recommends great things to do, she's really nice and friendly.

The place is really perfect for a relaxing beach vacation. If you cross the street you are right on the sea on a small beach - slightly larger beaches are also within walking distance. The place is small but perfect for two people. On the balcony, you have a great view and with the available awning, it is also easy to stay there at noon in August. The pool is perfect to cool off in between - and we got a free lounger there at all times. Daniela was an incredibly warm and friendly hostess! In summary, we can highly recommend the place😊

We had a few wonderful, quiet days in the tiny house. Communication was quick, friendly and hassle-free. Marijan was very accommodating and we felt absolutely comfortable. The house can be reached via a dirt road, which the host accompanied us on at check-in to show us the way. The location is super quiet, at night you hear nothing except sometimes the wild animals. Very idyllic, quiet and perfect for relaxing. Superbly equipped. We had a great time and would definitely come back :-)

Communication with Dina was very good and pleasant from start to finish. Quick response. The reception was very friendly and we immediately felt comfortable. I would highly recommend Dina, her husband and the beautiful house. I would book the house again immediately for a vacation.

Excellent accommodation with a fantastic outdoor space in a peaceful village location. Milan is very friendly and kind. A car is needed to explore the area of Zadar and further afield but you could easily enjoy your time staying at the property relaxing and enjoying the outdoor facilities.

We were personally welcomed by the two hosts and given a tour of the beautiful property. Since we arrived late in the evening, they had even prepared an antipasti platter for us so we wouldn't go hungry — a very thoughtful gesture and by no means a given. Throughout our stay, they were always available for any questions and extremely helpful. The host’s father, who lives next door, treated us with pancakes and local delicacies, which made our stay even more delightful. Aside from the wonderful, spacious accommodation with plenty of room for the kids and areas to relax, it was an exceptionally pleasant stay — made even more special by the warmth and effort of the hosts. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice stay in Bibinje. The beach is only a few minutes away from the property. Bakery and restaurants as well as souvenir shops are in the immediate vicinity. The view from the balcony is very nice! Each room had air conditioning. It's not far to Zadar. There are loungers by the pool, but no parasols. We would come back.

Lorena's houses are AMAZING. We had a trip for 5 days with 2 kids under 2. Two separated rooms was perfect for us. Houses are geniously equipped, you will find there everything whats needed. The dishwasher and laundry is an additional detail which was very good to have. Houses are perfectly located, nearby the centre and bus station (where you can go eg to Split or Krka national park). Close you will also have a supermarket where you can buy totally everything. Definitely we will recommend this place to friends and maybe go back to Zadar again in the future.

We immediately felt at home. Everything was as described, communication was smooth and quick. If you are looking for peace, the perfect accommodation. I'd love to come back.

The accommodation is run by a very nice family and is located on a ridge with fantastic views of Novigrad, the sea and the mountains behind it. The pool is heated and has a very nice, shady terrace with a beautiful view. There was nothing missing in the accommodation. There is a nice little balcony, the kitchen is very well equipped and air conditioning and window/door shutters offer the possibility to ventilate or cool the premises in warm weather. The vehicle can be ideally parked in the courtyard. A shower by the pool allows you to wash off before/after swimming. A pool house makes it possible to cook something on site or to cool drinks. Novigrad, Zadar and the Zrmanja Canyon are very easy to reach, as well as some supermarkets around the lake. It's an unforgettable stay! Thanks to the very friendly owners - We'll be back!
