House vacation rentals in Silverton

Really enjoyed the stay at Tammaron Lodge Unit 327. Scenery very nice all around Glacier area and especially from the room. Easy 15 minute drive to Durango, yet very quiet area to stay. Unit was very nicely equipped and provided everything needed for the stay. Pool area very nice with warm weather during the stay. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near Durango and will consider staying again on the next trip to Durango!.

The home was beautiful and worked so well for our group of 8. We had 3 families and all felt like we each had enough space. The kitchen had seasonings, foil, plastic wrap, baggies - all SO helpful when coming in to cook the first night (and stores were already closed). We appreciated those extras so much. Blankets were cozy, rooms were nice, games available for us to play - hosts were responsive and helpful! It was fun being there the weekend of the bike race that came right in front of the house! Awesome to have amenities at Purgatory available for us if we wanted to use them. BEAUTIFUL area! Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful location. Close to downtown and the hot springs. Very walkable. Right next to the river which was wonderful to hear. Rained the majority of our trip, so wasn’t able to enjoy the deck much, but looked beautiful. Well themed. Could be a little cleaner, but otherwise large space, great amenities and really had the ouray feel. Bathrooms were very clean. Overall great stay, would come back.

We had the absolute best time and loved “our home away from home.” It was so comfortable and had EVERYTHING we needed. Thank you for such a clean, comfortable stay! We also absolutely loved that we were right by the river!

Great place, described as it is, very quiet place in alpine and close to everything.

Best place to stay. Our Host was great to communicate with prior to our stay answering all our questions in a timely manner. The condo far exceeded our expectations. It was well furnished with plenty of towels, cookware, extra refrigerator, a large washer and dryer, and all the amenities you could want. There were also lots of board games to keep our kids entertained as well as a swimming pool that was just a few steps away. We rented skis from Performance Skis which is near the Condo without the hassle and long lines of renting at the resort. I can't say enough about how great this condo and our Host was. We look forward to staying here again next year.

Great spot. No issues. Ski valet alone worth the price of admission. Very lean closet space if more than 2 guests with no options outside of the bedroom closet. Otherwise awesome.

We had a great stay in the Purgatory Condo. We were close to the mountain and the Shuttle Service was excellent. We enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable surroundings after long days on the slopes.

The San Juan house was amazing. It madew a great home base for Silverton mountain and was a great place to spend our evenings. The front porch is a great place to relax with a drink and take in the beautiful surroundings after a long day on the mountain. Many restaurants and bars in town are a quick walk from the house.

Michelle's house was extremely well appointed. Kitchen has all the accessories that you could need. Washer and dryer are a plus. What you get for the price is great. It's secluded but close enough to town to stop for groceries or restaurants.

Great place with extras including dishes, grill, hair dryer. Just know that there's no AC and only the Master has a ceiling fan but floor fans are provided for the other 2 bedrooms. Very clean!

I cant say enough about this beautiful place! If you want a remote and tranquil get away, this is it. The house, which is the second floor of a barn, was beautifully decorated and very clean. It is very remote, its 25 min drive on dirt roads off the state paved road. Its quiet and many birds and elk around the property. There are other people who live nearby though. The first day there were neighbors cutting wood, which cut some of the quiet. But it didnt last that long. The house sits just behind the "main house" of the host, but he is not there all the time, and very respectful of privacy when he was there. His communication was great though. Even being so remote, there was consistent cell service via satellite wifi. I recommend completely although I want it to be available for me next time. :)

We loved our stay! The house well cozy and had everything you need. We loved taking a hike every morning on the trail head next to the ski rental shop, which is an easy walk from the property. The views were beautiful and the location was peaceful. Would definitely stay there again!

Amazing place! Beautiful views even better than the photos! Home is also beautiful and fully stocked with all your needs! Abby really thought of everything! Price was great! Zero complaints and we stayed several nights! If we’re back in Durango we will 100% choose this place again!

Absolutely beautiful home in an excellent location. There is plenty of parking at the location; however, you can walk anywhere in town from the home. Owner was incredibly responsive and helpful and the amenities were all top notch. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to anyone!

Mike’s place was cozy and very clean. The kitchen was HGTV all the way. We walked everywhere except when we were riding our bikes. Hiking the Perimeter Trail started at the end of the street. So fun and gorgeous. Sitting on the chairs outside the door was relaxing and neighbors kitty “Elenor” was really cute and friendly. We loved it!

Stargazer Chalet is Perfect! This incredible home is super clean, well organized, nicely furnished, and beautifully decorated. It has everything you’ll need for a comfy and relaxing get-away. Very spacious and easily accommodated our large family, allowing us tons of room to comfortably gather for dinner every night at the huge family style table or outside on the big furnished patio. The kitchen is fantastic, well stocked, and gave us plenty of room to cook those big meals. There is an awesome gas grill on the patio for steak night. The views are spectacular and there is plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors, either in the hot tub or sitting around the firepit. There’s a killer air hockey table and a great dart board in the garage. There’s plenty of parking space available. We easily parked 2 trucks and 2 cars. Basil is a great host. Friendly, responsive, and respectful. Couldn’t ask for better. We absolutely can’t wait to stay in this location again very soon.

Beautiful home and location! Fully stocked residence. We brought a lot of items from home that were not needed. Beds and furniture were very comfortable and we truly enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have spent a couple more days just to enjoy the view!

This 5 Star review is for the property managers but the property gets 5 Stars as well. The management company did an excellent job in what turned out to be a difficult situation. Because they were proactive and responsive…my family and I were able to get past the speed bump we encountered with an unruly neighbor In the end, we all enjoyed our vacation problem free and have great memories to remember! This property was amazing and straight out of fairytale book. The management company showed they cared by going out of their way to accommodate our situation. Great work and thank you!

Andres' cabin was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations! It was exactly as described—if not more—and the most well-equipped Airbnb we've ever stayed in. Every little detail was thoughtfully provided, making our vacation effortless and enjoyable. We were primarily here to snowboard at Purgatory, and the location was perfect for that. The home was also very family-friendly, which made our stay even more comfortable. We loved reading the story of how this place came to be—it added such a special touch. And of course, meeting the friendly neighbor dog, Hunter, was a highlight! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped getaway!

Truly fantastic spot, with the river running in the background for ambient noise, giant trees, amazing deck space + hot tub. You're going to want to bring an eye mask for sleeping unless you like being woken up by the sun. No window coverings in 2 of the bedrooms with eastern facing windows.

Absolutely a wonderful experience for Telluride five stars across the board. If you come to San Miguel County, don’t miss out on staying at Luke’s house.

What an excellent find! We had our pups with us and they enjoyed roaming and playing on the 3 acres of fenced in property. We saw deer, jack rabbits, and a skunk during our stay. It was peaceful. There are nice touches that make you feel at home all around like live plants and flowers. We relaxed in the hot tub, drank coffee in the mornings on the patio. We brought my parents and brother and sister-in-law with us and never felt cramped, there is plenty of room. The general area was 5 star as well. If we are ever back in Durango, we plan to come back! Melissa was an exceptional host, she was friendly and quick to respond.
