We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.

The Beach House!

The house sits directly on 7 miles of sandy beach. Check-in is at 4PM and all guests must be out of the home no later than 11AM on the last day of their stay. Cleaning fee $200.00; the pet fee is $50/pet/stay. Due to county and state law, we are required to charge a tax of 11.8%, this will be added to the total nightly rate. Parties and events are allowed.

June provided breakfast which was scrumptious and engaged in conversations making us feel like home away from home! My teenage Daughter and I had the pleasure of staying at Tyee Lodge for a few days while we were touring local colleges. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt at home. The quality of service, the coziness of our room, the welcoming environment of the shared spaces, the delicious breakfasts, the amazing views, the incredible walks on the beach. The communal atmosphere around the dining room table for breakfast and the fire pit in the evening could not have been better. I have nothing constructive to offer, it was the perfect experience; so much so, we're trying to find a way to create a new tradition so we can visit annually. Dani, Ken, and Shawn have created a beautiful sanctuary full of warmth, gratitude, and kindness. We are so grateful to have met them all and shared their wondeful space momentarily.

Randy was a great host and made sure we were comfortable and felt at home on the Belle. Happy Hour and breakfast were so good as both had eggs Benedict with smoked salmon which was perfect. The common are is unlike any other place we have seen with the pellet stove which brought a warm peaceful atmosphere and great company. We will stay again.

We are definitely staying here again and bringing friends with us! Everyone was super friendly and gave us awesome restaurant recommendations. Brandon did amazing with happy hour and breakfast both days that we stayed and gave us a lot of locals insight. Had to get use to the occasional sway when the wind picked up but we loved the experience!
