The annexe is very eco-friendly with solar electricity and ground source heating so your stay will be carbon neutral. It is close to great pubs and scenic places. The studio is self contained , private, light and airy with wonderful views over looking fields of open countryside. There is a large garden which you are welcome to use. There is plenty of space for parking and a lockable bike storage is provided. The Village has a post office which is adequately stocked for essentials if needed.

The Shepherds Cottage is a cosy retreat in a rural location. Light the log burning stove and have a walk to the two local pubs, which offer great food and a warm welcome, or if you fancy a night in, there’s a Indian takeaway and Fish & Chip shop in the village. Stillington has numerous country walks, with fantastic views. Why not also visit the walled City Of York which is only 10 miles away. The lovely market town of Helmsley is only a 12 mile drive. Well behaved dogs are always welcome.

York Garden House

The York garden house stands under a oak tree in our garden, with private entrance. The garden, fire pit area (where you can toast marshmallows or use a disposable BBQ) and the glass roofed seating area/patio (to enjoy a takeaway from the village) are entirely yours to use. The garden room is also very private. It is a small, cosy & warm ( similar to glamping pod) There are electric radiators and its cosy on winter nights. It has two small single beds. Log burner is for aesthetics.

The brick-built annexe is detached from the main house guaranteeing privacy.

Nestled in the countryside just outside York, 'The Kennel' is a relaxing and peaceful retreat. This small but perfectly formed self-contained annex is set in three acres of newly planted woodland in which you can often see the Barn, Tawny and Little Owls visiting to be fed from the feeding posts, garden, small orchard, wildlife pond and apiary housing up to 8 beehives which provide us with some delicious honey. To the rear of the property is a Whisky and Gin Distillery.

The Annexe is located in the pretty village of Great Ouseburn, 10 minutes from the market town of Boroughbridge and a 30 minute drive from both Harrogate and York. The Annexe offers excellent value for money and with comfortable, cosy and well equipped accommodation and everything you need for a relaxing stay for a couple of days or longer. Although it is linked to my home, It is self contained with its own entrance, giving guests their freedom and privacy.

A unique, charming summerhouse situated upon a bridge overlooking a fish pond in the owners large garden, surrounded by trees, birds and wildlife. The lodge is deceptively spacious, suitable for two people. A double bed and also the seating area can be used as a single bed if so required. Pear Tree Barn has been lovingly restored and converted as holiday accommodation during 2016. The old timbers have been retained but are not obtrusive, where the height of the interior allows the original A frame roof timbers add that necessary rustic charm to what is now a modern property. Loving made from a shipping container and set in a secluded orchard on a river bank. This is a wonderful little hideaway where you can just kick back, relax and watch nature while you get cozy by the fire. A truly wonderful escape to enjoy with your favourite person. Dogs are very welcome.
