I came with my mom and we loved the scenery! Sally and Constatin were very welcoming and we enjoyed talking with them.

Kim was an outstanding host! She responded in a timely matter and ensured we had everything we needed to fully enjoy our stay. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a beautiful and peaceful getaway just outside of Charlottesville.

This place was great, just what we needed! Laura was amazing - she helped me with an alternative stay when I had a change come up. She was responsive and you can tell she cares about her customers to make sure they are comfortable and had what they needed. She proactively reached out to me on a concern I didn’t know about but it turned out everything was fine. We had everything we needed when we stayed. Thank you Laura!!

Spectacular views. Well-stocked apartment (everything you could possibly need). Super friendly hosts. The long gravel road and driveway can be a bit of a challenge, so leave your Corvette at home and bring the Jeep.

We really liked Betsy's place. It was clean and very spacious - perfect for a shorter stay. We appreciated the basket of snacks waiting for us, and there was even a fresh carton of half and half for our morning coffee and tea! It was our first time staying in North Garden, and we thought the location was convenient to the places where we wanted to go - not too far from Charlottesville or the little town of Scottsville. We enjoyed checking out Polly's Folly and Potter's Cider which are a short drive away. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and the view from the rental is of a hillside - very private and safe. We enjoyed meeting Harpo - Betsy's very sweet, friendly dog! Unfortunately we did not get a chance to use the fire pit, but it was available with plenty of firewood available. Instead, we enjoyed the evenings streaming shows on the very large TV in the living room. The king size bed was a plus although mattress needs replacing. We would gladly stay here again!

The gps had us traveling down several small one lane some roads. There was an easier route but I guess we were meant to see all the beautiful cows and scenery. Plus sometimes there wasn't cell service in the roads. Being in the mountains gave us an immediate sense of peace! Barbara's house is in top of the mountain and very serene. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils though we didn't use them since our stay was short. The stores are a distance away so plan accordingly. It was a great place for a restful retreat.

This place was perfect for what I needed. It was cozy, clean and in close proximity to restaurants, downtown, and close access to main roads in and out of town. I brought my dog and her fenced in yard was so convenient. I had the pleasure of meeting the Dianne and you could not finder a nicer host. 10/10 recommend!

Staying here was great. The best thing was how well stocked everything was with the things you didn’t know to ask for. Oil, salt, pepper in the kitchen for cooking, all of the gadgets we needed, and then they were so generous with snacks and treats as well. The bathroom was stocked the same way. We made 70% of our food for the trip at the Airbnb and really appreciated how thoughtful they were about it. Also, it’s a really comfortable space. The photos look great, but it feels even better than that inside. We thought it might be a basement place with the beam in the kitchen, but it wasn’t. The windows opened and because the weather was appropriate, we enjoyed the fresh air. The queen bed is softer than what we usually like, so that took some getting used to. But lots of other people like softer beds than us, so that’s ok. The bedrooms were cozy with outlets and lights and fans right where we needed them. I’d recommend this place to anyone and hope we can come back sometime!

If you like clean, cozy nooks, this is the place for you. The bed: a super-soft nook. The couch: an L-shaped nook that you can squoosh into the corner of. The desk: an adorable work zone nook. The reading nook: a nook. Jennifer was communicative, friendly, and even cleaned the place ahead of time so that I could check in early after my loooong train ride. I will definitely stay here when I'm back in town.

We had a lovely 2 night stay. Comfortably slept 4 adults. The house is well appointed. The fully fenced yard was amazing to have with our two dogs who loved sniffing around and exploring. It’s easy to drive to Culpepper or many of the breweries or wineries in the area. We’d definitely consider staying again.

We really did enjoy our stay. The only downside for us is that we couldn't stay longer! It is a place I would absolutely book again! Thank you to our hosts!

Place was as described and looked like the photos. Host supplied essentials in case you forgot anything. Towels were nice. Clear instructions were provided for accessing the space. Unfortunately my door code didn’t work upon arrival. I messaged Mariah and I don’t think I waited 5 mins so host was very responsive and provided an alternate code just in case. Much appreciated even though she verified the code was re-programmed and working. Fan on beside table is much appreciated for those used to sleeping with a fan on like me. Overall a good experience and would book Mariah’s place again if back in Charlottesville.

My fiancée and I loved Aliya’s place & will definitely be booking again. It has all the entertainment you need under one roof that you don’t have to leave the house to spend any additional money. She has the home theater with the popcorn , massage chair, pool table, video games, & board games just something for everybody to enjoy. This is one of the best AirBNB’s I’ve stayed in thus far.

Rohaan’s home was very nice. Accurately described, and welcoming. He gave us clear instructions for check in, and exactly that happened. Overall, the space was clean and very nice. Movie theater was great. Wonderful experience!

The perfect stay! Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The bunker was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—and then some. The attention to detail made it feel like a boutique, with cozy linens, quality toiletries and finishes. The location was ideal—quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to local attractions, restaurants, and hiking trails. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional place and memorable getaway. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Great 1 bedroom, super cute, clean and quiet. Rented it for a weekend exploring Richmond with my sister, and we had a great time!

This is the third year that I have rented Domonique's place for the Monacan PowWow weekend. The place is located in a beautiful neighborhood and provides tranquility and comfort. The apartment is extreme.y clean and the atmosphere so relaxing. Dominique is a fabulous host and is very responsive to every need or concern. It's like a home away from home. Hopefully, if God gives this old man another year, I'll be heading back in 2026. I highly recommend Dominique's place if you are looking for peace, comfort, and an enjoyable stay in beautiful surroundings.

The rental was lovely - clean and so well furnished. Absolutely peaceful and welcoming. There are no stairs/steps into the apartment or in the apartment so that was fabulous for loading/unloading as well as for anyone with special physical or visual needs. The apartment is so well lit - another bonus for a guest with visual challenges. The surroundings are gorgeous but sadly we had little extra time to take advantage of the walking paths and creek. (We did see a doe and her baby fawn by the bridge one morning!) The location is well situated within close driving distance to a grocery, Walmart, etc. Also within fairly short driving distance are several historic towns that have fun and interesting places to visit. (Lexington, Lynchburg, Natural Bridge, and Bedford to name a few.) The National D Day Memorial in Bedford was a wonderful and moving visit. Jennifer was very friendly and informative from our inquiry, during our stay and through to checkout. We would definitely book again!

Fantastic thoughtful accommodations, we really enjoyed our stay! The two single beds behind a curtain, just beside the lounge won my girls over… they could go to bed without being scared in a new place. My 5y/o said she wants to live there, so I guess she gives it 5 stars also… lol

Susan’s place was the perfect spot for our weekend. The pictures do not do it justice! The decor was tasteful and thoughtful throughout. The morning of checkout we were greeted with scones fresh from the oven. Will definitely revisit when we are in the area.

Kelly's place is a great home base in Fredericksburg. It felt private and close to town. We didn't take it, but the free trolley stops right down the street during the summer. You're right around the corner from a great restaurant and old school ice cream stand. We didn't bring our dog but would definitely stay here again with him. Everything was clean. The only things I'd note is that the bed is up high off the ground so if you're really short or don't move around so well, then you might have a tough time getting in and out of bed. We appreciated the coffee, private entrance and fenced in yard, and ease of parking. We didn't walk to downtown because it was hot and we were tired from driving but you could, or it's a 3 minute drive.

This Airbnb was perfect for our family. The kitchen was perfectly clean and had every item we could need. We really appreciated the filtered water and recycling. The washing machine and dryer were also great! I only wish the weather was better so we could enjoy the outside amenities. Maybe next time!

Really a wonderful stay - it was perfect for what we wanted (a place to stay during a large & busy wedding weekend elsewhere).
