-House was in a very nice neighborhood. -It was roomy, clean and love the big tables! Great to sit together and eat together. -Enjoyed having a dock specially the little beach. -Even though we had a couple of days of rain, the kids had things to do: ping pong, air hockey, hot tub, toys etc. -Kitchen was big & well equipped. -Daniel was great to deal with. Helpful and very responsive. A big thank you from all of us .

We had a weekend stay at MadHen with family! The place was great and the Charlotte was an amazing host. The place was spotless and in such peaceful and quiet area. We had an amazing time on the lake. Would definitely come back.

Anne’s place in Luray Virginia right next to the Shenandoah River was absolutely perfect. We have stayed at several places in Luray near the river and this was our favorite. The kitchen had everything you need, and the place was spotless. It was very comfortable with lots of fun touches that we really appreciated. I highly recommend Anne’s place. We are already planning to return sometime in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at Jason’s place! It was the perfect spot for our family yo spend a week together. The creek and grounds were beautiful and added a special atmosphere to our stay.

We had a wonderful week staying with Dan & Robin. Dan was super helpful and always available when needed or for some small talk. We enjoyed visiting Ohiopyle statepark. Paddler's lane is a great base to explore the environment. Next to that, we met various extremely nice other guests who were staying here as well. Definitely would come back when we will explore the area on bikes!

The place was great! You find everything you need. The outdoor furniture can be updated as most of them were old and broken but the place itself was amazing and the cove is quiet and wonderful.

Without a doubt, I will always check the availability of this listing first when we are visiting Lake Anna! The house was a perfect size for 14 adults, though we could have easily fit more comfortably. The home is gorgeous - it is a modern oasis with enough amenities and additions to still make you feel at home. The location is perfect- minutes from the grocery store, gas, etc. To top it all off, there is a 2-story boathouse and a well-appointed patio, which make this home the best place to enjoy beautiful weather and lake views. Lastly, the host team is incredible. We had an issue with Wi-Fi and a shower, and they had techs support immediately. We also discovered the grill was not able to be used - the team had a new grill delivered within an hour so we could grill over the holiday weekend!! I'm not sure that I've ever experienced a more dedicated team wanting their guests to have the best experience possible. No questions asked, a 5-star rental option!

Private space for quiet downtime with the family.

Daniel's place was everything we hoped it would be... a private stay lakeside yet with all the modern amenities. Daniel was a great communicator and check in/out was a snap. We would definitely stay again!

This is a family friendly place to stay with little ones! Lois did a great job at making sure we had what we needed for the little ones, including baby gates, a pac n play and a high chair!

Loved the stay beautiful home

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The house had ample space for our group of 8. The kitchen was well-appointed with all the necessities to cook a good meal. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and hanging out on the big couch in the living room. If it wasn't so cold we would have loved spending time on the large back deck or sitting down by the lake.

Beautiful house! Owner is very responsive and helpful. Plenty of extras on hand- tons of toilet paper, paper towels, seasonings. Kitchen has everything you could ever need. Highly recommend!

STAY HERE NOW!! Absolutely amazing! This spacious dream house was everything we hoped for and more. We hosted a lovely family dinner and still had plenty of room to relax and enjoy. All amenities that you will need! The host’s communication was excellent—responsive, helpful, and kind. Honestly, we never wanted to leave. Stay here now before it’s booked—this place is a gem!

I surprised my wife for our 1 year anniversary to a trip to this beautiful cabin. we greatly enjoyed our weekend. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Our family had a lovely time staying in both cabins! It’s been so difficult to find accessible places for my dad to visit in his wheelchair, and this place was perfect - ramps, accessible bathroom, etc. was exactly as pictured. The kids/teens loved the creek and yard (and hot tub), the adults found the kitchens and homes well-supplied, and we even took my dad over the gravel path to eat at the picnic table near the fire pit. We’re all excited to come back!

An amazing lakeside retreat! We stayed for 6 days and everything was absolutely perfect. The home was clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable stay. The lake and surrounding forest were beautiful — we enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and peaceful nature walks. It was a truly relaxing and unforgettable vacation. 100% would recommend staying at this home. It was perfect size for 11 of us. The interior was beautiful and the views were incredible. The kids spent there days on the dock and lake paddle boarding and jumping off the dock, it was the highlight of their week. The main level was just fabulous for eating and chatting and just hanging out, loved the cohesiveness of the kitchen, dining room and living room. Lots of family games available to play that we took advantage of. Could definitely see ourselves making a repeat visit to this home. Host was amazing, quick to respond and very proactive in communicating with us clearly and concisely! The only "issue" we had was that the air was at times difficult to regulate. Very hot upstairs and very cold downstairs, but it did not deter from our fun. Lake Anna was absolutely beautiful!!

A wonderful place to stay for newlyweds, couples, retirees and grandparents. There is also much for children of any age to do. This place has beautiful surroundings and privacy.

Very nice place, clean, and plenty of things to do on or by the lake on the property. Volleyball court, fire pit, docks, kayaks, canoes, hot tub, etc. Would recommend to friends.
