Amazing gem on the coast, with the best views!!! The town's beautiful, but some of the houses nearby aren't the nicest... Not a place to wander off the main roads, but the house was perfect :) Make sure you check out black sands beach!!!

What a wonderful house! Clean and well furnished. And in the middle of a wonderful, pristine region. We loved the whole stay.

This is such a beautiful home! I loved the decor and amenities. The views are great, its within walking distance of local businesses and trails. My favorite was just sitting in the recliner and reading. Im definitely bringing the family next time. Its spacious enough so people wont feel crowded.

Talk about Northern California paradise, Graeme's place is so beautiful and so relaxing. It is a bit of a drive from the 101 but so worth it for the peace and quiet; slept better than I have in months. Trees forever; well supplied kitchen--you can cook anything as plenty of pots/pans, utensils. Books and games for kids and adults; we had 3 generations with us and everyone hated to leave.

This place is an absolute gem! Wonderfully spacious, beautifully decorated, and surrounded by nature – it truly has a magical atmosphere. The big kitchen, lovely sleeping spaces, and the overall cleanliness made it feel like home right away. Everything is tastefully designed, full of flowers and greenery, and it’s located just a short stroll from the river (second line), making it both peaceful and scenic. Out of all the places we’ve stayed during our trip, this one stands out as the very best in the area — a true highlight. And what made it even more special was the host: warm, kind, incredibly helpful, and simply the most wonderful person we met on our entire journey. Her hospitality made all the difference. This place is more than recommendable — it’s exceptional in every way. Thank you so much!

Great location, ocean view from the deck to enjoy a glass of local wine. Very friendly and responsive hosts. The neighborhood is so quiet that you can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean crashing into the rocks. The house was clean and well equipped. Abundant wildlife roaming the streets. We really enjoyed our stay in a hidden gem of Shelter Cove.

Ian’s treehouse was a grownup kid’s dream come true! It was clearly built with love and care, and let me tell you I did NOT want to leave! The bed and space was delightfully cozy, the amenities perfect, and the private outdoor shower underneath the treehouse was perfect. Zero complaints! Can’t wait to come again!

Our weekend in this beautiful home was relaxing and fun for the kids. Our children enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Everything was easy to find in the clean, labeled and organized kitchen. Thank you Heather for sharing your beautiful home.

This place was a great stay! It was clean and impressively organized. The place was much more spacious than expected. Perfect for a quaint place to stay while you are in Redway. Hosts were easy to talk to and very respectful. They helped with everything we needed with zero hesitation. They have several kids that are just awesome. The pool was beautiful and the Jacuzzi was just a bonus. Respect them as hosts and your stay will be great. Couldnt ask for much more 🤙

We had a good stay. The place had spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, and very comfortable beds. The house is conveniently placed next to the Avenue of the Giants and Humboldt State Park. The Wi-Fi was a tad slow, but it got resolved on the second day of our stay.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! The surroundings were perfection! The home was cozy but plenty of space to spread out with 2 adults, 2 kids and our Goldendoodle. We had an amazing time and would absolutely stay here again.

Marci was very friendly and helped out with directions. Her place was a fun stop on our road trip. We enjoyed the drive.

We had a wonderful stay at this Redway home during our business trip. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed to feel comfortable and productive. From the cozy living spaces to the well-stocked kitchen, every detail made us feel like we were right at home. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was essential for our work, and the peaceful setting provided the perfect environment to unwind after a busy day. Communication with the host was seamless and they were always quick to respond to any questions we had. We truly appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house and would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Redway. Highly recommended for anyone traveling for business or leisure!

We stayed 3 nights at whale gulch, what an amazing part of the world, the area is amazing a true wilderness. Beautiful night Skys and you can hear the sea from a distance in the evenings and early mornings. We had deer right upto the back door. The house is truly unique and a one off amazing decor with a rustic feel. Being off grid was no problem to us. Highly recommend this place and loved staying there.

A beautiful river view from the deck, dining room, kitchen, and the bedroom suite. The house is lovely with lots of room and the kitchen was fully stocked (including a Kitchen Aid mixer, a blender, and a Longhi Expresso Machine) for any entertainment you can imagine. My niece and I thought it's perfect for a wedding just about anywhere on the property. I caused minor damage when I drove in to unpack the car. Kevin gave me lots of assurance that he thought it was minor and either he would fix it himself or, as requested, send me the bill. We enjoyed the redwood forest, small towns, and the river. We'd love to stay there again. Overall a ery happy time

We loved our stay in Shelter Cove at Marc’s home. We enjoyed our time in the large deck hanging out and listening to the ocean. Ocean views are plentiful from multiple locations in the home and property. We had gorgeous sunny weather all weekend long. The sunsets from the top deck were amazing. This home had everything needed for a wonderful family vacation. There is plenty of room for everyone and the home is so clean and comfortable. Truly home away from home! We enjoyed exploring Shelter Cove during the days and coming back to the home in the evenings to cook dinner at hang out at the house. The beds were so comfortable.
