Highland cabin - cosy hot tub

HannahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had such a lovely weekend staying at the Highland Hilly Huts in Drumnadrochit. The hut itself was beautiful – really cosy and well thought out, with lots of sweet little touches that made it feel so welcoming. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful – friendly, accommodating, and clearly passionate about making guests feel at home. You can tell a lot of care has gone into every detail. The absolute highlight for us was the homemade bread – Such a thoughtful and unexpected treat that made our stay even more memorable. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing break.

Designer A-Frame Cabin, with Hot Tub, Mayen Estate

LucyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a lovely time staying at MidPark for our honeymoon. The space is so nicely designed, and very private and peaceful, which was just what we needed. Ross was very helpful in helping us check in and sort a couple of minor issues when we first arrived; he is very knowledgeable and friendly, and a pleasure to chat with. We had a couple of day trips during our stay, but really enjoyed spending our time relaxing at the lodge and chatting to the cows in the field next door! We would love to stay here again in the future, if we're ever that far north again!

Cabin & Hot Tub on smallholding with Alpaca's +

CaitlinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Me and my fiancé stayed at Laura’s place for 2 nights for a surprise for his birthday. We ended up getting engaged a few days before we arrived so became double celebrations. Laura left us a complimentary bottle of prosecco and also decorated the place for my partners birthday with banners and balloons which was a great touch we really appreciated! The surroundings of the place is beautiful and we really enjoyed feeding the animals and walking along the lake front. We loved being at one with nature waking up and sitting outside surrounded by the chickens having our morning cuppa or relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings with the goats and alpacas just a few feet away! Overall we had the best stay ever and would 100% return!

You can unwind in the sauna or soak in the outdoor heated bathtub under the stars, enjoy cosy evenings around the fire pit, or curl up in the inviting reading nook with a book. For culinary adventures, there’s a pizza oven and gas stove in the kitchen. The interior includes a beautiful bedroom, a charming living room with a wood stove, and a well-equipped kitchen. Every corner reflects Ali's vibrant personality and passion for creating a welcoming environment. I felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated during my stay. PaulRating, 5 stars6 days ago
My partner and I loved our stay, we felt so very relaxed and cosy and it was just exactly what we needed. It really does feel like a hideaway where you can switch off from the stresses of the world for a little while. The hot tub was phenomenal and such a treat and we enjoyed a barbecue or two as we watched the boats coming in and out. We will definitely be back to our new-found country escape spot, can't recommend it enough. Thank you so much

Woodland cabin deep in the Highlands of Scotland

KarenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
On arriving wow! Surrounded by trees and woodland, private driveway. Entering the property the lounge living area is huge and so cosy. We didn’t use the extra log’s provided. Master bedroom has a wet room which was great for my disabled daughter. Hand wash is provided in bathrooms and kitchen. Also provided are dishwasher tablets etc. Big white towels in master bedroom. Kitchen has all you need. View from the decking is amazing. We were lucky to get some sunshine amongst showers and the decking area is a lovely suntrap. There are children’s books as well as adult books and games provided if you are stuck inside.Put out some sunflower hearts and the red squirrel visited. The coffee shop and bothy, just a short walk away does amazing food/cakes. Don’t leave without paying a visit. Never had such fabulous cakes. We did our food shopping at the Coop in Newtonmore about 9 miles away but ate out in Aviemore about 23 miles away. Delaneys was a highlight for food and also the Old Bridge Inn.

Log cabin set in wooded secluded private grounds

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the cabin with our dog. It’s very well located, just over an hour from Glasgow but quiet and secluded. The cabin is comfortable and has everything one would need for a few days in the highlands. The wood burner is a lovely touch and keeps the place warm and cosy. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The whole place was also spotless and well maintained. Cornelius was a very responsive and accommodating host!

Portside - Crows Nest Cabin

AmyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed in the Crows Nest for a couple of nights on our NC500 roadtrip and it was wonderful. The accomodation is cosy and has everything you need for a short, comfortable break! My highlight was the decking area with a beautiful view but inside the property was just as special. it was super easy to find, great parking and walkable to shops, restaurants, boat tours and walking routes. Tracey is a wonderful host, very proacyive and communicative with instruction and suggestions before arriving. She really had thought of everything, providing kitchen essentials like salt, pepper, milk, oil, kitchen foil and cling film which made such a difference! thank you for being so helpful and making our stay so enjoyable!

Would like to stay again.

Bothan Dubh Self Catering Cabin

ChrisRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The cabin was conveniently situated just off the NC500 route in a quiet location. The cabin seemed small from the outside but was really spacious once you stepped inside, with a well designed layout for the lounge/kitchen (with all facilities required), bathroom and bedroom (fantastically large bed). The views from the lounge through a panoramic double window were outstanding, looking over Loch Kishorn (with red deer on the shoreline) and up to Beinn Bhan with spectacular sunsets in the evening. Gemma provided great information about the local area and things to do, and introduced us to her very friendly highland calves. The cabin is well situated for trips to Applecross, Torridon, Skye, Eileen Donan Castle and bag full of Monros. Thanks Gemma for a great stay.
