We had a great time at Francesca's chalet. The place was very clean, so we had no concerns about letting our baby play on the floor. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for a vacation. We were particularly pleased with the board games in the living room drawer. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen smelled very fresh, so we felt right at home.

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

We cannot reccomend this place enough, Tanja was super helpful, answered all our questions and was always ready to help with any queries that we had. The house looked better than the photos and had everything that we needed. Tanja was there to greet us and show us round the house, we really appreciated it alot. The pool was the highlight of our trip and the kids loved jumping in each morning, the kittens where adorable and we enjoyed feeding and playing with them. Everything else was thought of from extra towels, games for kids, clean comfortable beds and even the hammocks outside to relax in. we loved every moment of being there and would HIGHLY reccomend anyone to stay there. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable. The area is super peaceful with cows and horses around and just a short drive to neighbouring town there are many activities for the kids. Tanja left a full albumn of activities for us to do in the area which was so helpful. 5+ Star host.

A great and clean house in a quiet area. With 8 people, we were fine with the rooms and bathrooms. Pool was to our satisfaction!

The house is beautiful and stylish and in a great location, close to the forest and town. Nice large pool and great garden. Maartje provided us with 4 bicycles, which was very handy. Overall, we loved the place.

We had a fantastic time at this lovely apartment. The sea view balcony is fantastic. The apartment is spacious and equipped with every comfort. 2 beautiful spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a nice loft. Beach right in front of the door and several restaurants and beach bars nearby. We also found surprisingly nice. Cruise through the sea lock is recommended.

We had a fantastic time at Recreatiepark De Wielen! The cottage was brand new, beautifully furnished and equipped with every comfort. The location is great – quiet, beautiful views and an ideal base for excursions in the area. Everything was very clean and well kept. We immediately felt at home and would love to come back. Absolutely recommended!

We enjoyed the stay. The farm is very quiet but still close to a beautiful beach. The animals were a highlight as there were small lambs that were allowed to be bottle fed by the children. We'll be back.

We had a lovely weekend in this beautiful apartment. Any luxury you want is available. There is much to do in the beautiful surroundings. Communication with the host went without problems. Highly recommended!

We stayed for a long weekend in Edwin’s house. Everything was nice and we enjoyed the location. Especially the terrace was a place to be for us. Also the kitchen is great, a professional oven, enough tools and dishes to prepare wonderful meals. All equipment you need was there. There is one little thing to mention, it was really ok for us but could be a thing for others. The staircase to the bedrooms is a little bit steep, but is was good to manage for us. It might be an issue for elderly people.

I stayed with a friend and her dog for four nights in the accommodation. We really enjoyed the time in the beautiful cottage! The location is very nice, the accommodation clean and the kitchen is really well equipped. Communication with Linda is easy and fast. We will be back!

The cottage has a great starting point for excursions, whether to the beach in Bergen, Egmond or Pretten, as well as to be in Amsterdam in less than an hour. On the second day, we felt slowed down and relaxed by the quiet environment :) Our dog was also totally relaxed in the garden to sunbathe and our child was happy with the toys on site. The accommodation offers everything for everyday needs and was completely sufficient for us - we felt right at home and would have liked to have stayed longer. You come and the beds are already made and the towels are arranged. All included. We will be happy to come back!

We had a great time in our little home. The cottage is located in an allotment garden settlement, it is super quiet and the garden is really big. As a small note for families, the baby travel bed has no mattress. It was no problem for us, as our daughter ended up wanting to sleep in the big bed. We would come back and want to discover the area further. On foot you can go play mini golf and our daughter loved the playground there. Excursion destinations such as tulip fields, cheese market and Co are also quick to reach.

We felt very comfortable in Benno's accommodation, everything was nicely furnished (much more modern and beautiful than other bungalows in this bungalow park) and the garden is also very beautiful. In the kitchen we found everything we needed and found it very nice that soap, dishwashing detergent, dry towels and dishwasher tabs were provided. Check-in was super easy and flexible with the lockbox. We will be happy to come back again

We had a lovely weekend with our family in this beautiful and very cozy farm. There is clearly a lot of work and love put into the renovation by the owners. They were also very friendly and helpful in the contact and, together with the roaming chickens, made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

We stayed in the accommodation for a week with six people and it was one of the best Airbnbs we've all ever stayed at. The place is just as beautiful as the pictures, everything is sparkling clean and the amenities are excellent. The location is of course also a dream - both the terrace in front of the entrance door and the one behind the house have a beautiful view and you can lie wonderfully by the water and relax. The trampoline with sea views is also a highlight:) The communication was great: super fast, very friendly and we got all the information in detail in advance. This property has really thought of everything and we can definitely recommend it! Only if you are afraid of spiders, you should possibly think again, because in the evening there were really a lot of larger spiders on the house. But here, too, everything has been thought of, there are numerous fly screens and if you pay attention when ventilating, you still have a spider-free house:)

What a wonderful stay! This has been one of the best AirBnBs we’ve ever visited. The house is beautifully decorated with a real attention to detail, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s perfectly located — close to the center, yet quiet and peaceful. We spent a fantastic week cycling through the countryside and exploring the charming surroundings. We had a lovely stay at Michael’s place. We booked it for a girls trip with a group of 7. It was the perfect size, lovely surroundings and really central! Would definitely recommend!

The house is very spacious, clean and has a great outdoor space. The bathroom is a stand out with a large shower and double sink. You can walk to the shops, restaurants and sightseeing in the city centre. Would certainly return to this gem in Alkmaar.

There is nothing to add to the comments, the house has its peculiar charme. What is'nt mentioned clealy in the description: you have to bring your own towels. Two bicycles can be rented. The parking place behind the house is public but mostly available. For coffee lovers: machine is available with capsule system 'Dolce Gusto'.
