Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Experience the true traditional Finnish lake cottage life. This log cottage was built in the 1800's with hand carved logs. It is located on a beautiful lake shore with fantastic views. Here you can enjoy nature and total silence and peace just a 10 min. car drive from Savonlinna centre. You have a good chance of spotting the endangered Saimaa ring seal, often swimming in front of the cottage. Both the cottage and the sauna are just a few meters from the lake shore. A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.

Pure relaxation, quiet place, but also suitable for remote work. Host Jari and his wife are super friendly and nice and make an effort to make sure you have a nice holiday. Everything you need is available in the accommodation, good shopping is available within a radius of about 10 km. The lake invites you to swim and the sunsets are breathtaking. Very nice place in a fantastic location, absolutely quiet right on the lake! Easy and very friendly check-in (despite late arrival at 9 PM) with personal reception by the host's father. There was everything necessary for a cozy and relaxing vacation by the lake (rowboat and SUP, outdoor kitchen, terrace, sauna, hot pot, etc.). The Wi-Fi also works perfectly. We spent 12 wonderful vacation days and can fully recommend the accommodation and the host.

The stay went well and the listing matched the description. The floors were a little dirty when we arrived, but otherwise the place was nice and especially nice were our own tub and beach sauna, in addition there were many other amenities and a really short walk away you could find, for example, equipment for yard games, a playground and firewood.
