Harri's chalet is very well-equipped. We didn't miss a thing. As stated in the listing, towels, kitchen towels and sheets are not provided. So we planned this in our suitcases. The environment is very pleasant and quiet. Perfect views of the lake! We even had the chance to see a moose, a magical moment! A car is essential to access the stores. For example, Savonlinna is about 50 km away. The only negative point was the cleanliness on arrival, requiring cleaning before we settled in. Harri was very understanding on this subject. We still recommend it because we had a lovely stay.

Beautiful cottage in peaceful surroundings. Just a passport for our party for its size and location. Lovely steam in the sauna when it's warming up properly. The hot tub was enjoyed in the moonlight. Very smooth and flexible communication with the host. Thanks!

If you're out for modern pampering, this is not for you.But if you want ti be alone by the lake, without a shower and regular toilet, but wit a row boat, wood fired sauna and hot tub, compost toilets (but also electricity, full kitchen, cellular coverage and tv) and most if all the amazing beauty around (incl. mosquitoes) memorable, then definitely go fir it. we had a wonderful time.

A gorgeous cabin in such a beautiful spot. We have never seen such beautiful sunsets and have never felt so calm and at one with nature. Would absolutely love to stay again.

A Wonderful Stay with Beautiful Views and Fun Activities Make sure to carefully read the description and be aware of the requirements before booking. We were informed about the water situation and the dog (Very friendly) in advance, but our host, Jennifer, mentioned that some guests had not been. As long as you're comfortable with those details, you're in for a truly awesome stay! Jennifer is a fantastic host—friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations for places to visit and things to do in the area. The cottage itself offers a variety of activities: paddleboat, stand-up paddleboarding, sauna, BBQ, whirlpool, and of course, the amazing experience of jumping straight into the lake. The view over the lake is absolutely breathtaking. The surrounding area is also very peaceful and scenic—perfect for a relaxing walk. Just a heads-up: during the summer months, there can be quite a few mosquitoes, so bring some repellent!

Treasure in the lap of Lake Saimaa - atmospheric, beautifully decorated log buildings and good amenities. The gentle steam of the sauna, swimming with the cleanest feet, and the perfect hangouts and dining spaces crowned the experience. And Marja-Tertu's heartfelt welcome with clear instructions made me feel welcome in a summer paradise. We enjoyed it and recommend!

The place was really clean, functional, and cozy. The nearby outdoor activities were very diverse, and there would have been more days of sight seeing. Check-in and checkout were clear and effortless, and communication with the host was straightforward. We'll definitely be back.🤗

The house was exactly what we were looking for: a cabin in the middle of the woods, in full contact with nature, perfect for admiring the lake area. We were right on a lake practically everything to ourselves, we also took a nice ride on the lake with the rowboat (there was also the engine but we didn't use it) and the sauna all to ourselves! Awesome!!! In the evening, eating outdoors in silence was wonderful. When we returned to the house we turned on the fireplace, beautiful. The children especially appreciated the darts and the pier on the lake. The house had all the comforts, even if the bathroom was external and organic: a hole with a bucket underneath, where you had to throw fertilizer between times, but it was all reported and it was also fun! The only problem was the cleanliness, because the house was not very clean, but so in the middle of the woods we could safely bear: we cleaned a little and adapted. In general, I highly recommend it!!

Great cottage with a great location 😍 My own beach was beautiful and the cottage was elegantly decorated. The cottage was also well-equipped and very tidy. Nice host and clear instructions!

The cottage was in a great location, very cozy and cozy. The windows opened up to views of Puruvesi. The heat of the furnace welcomed us, and it was nice to have a fire during our stay. The trees in both the oven and sauna were ready. The sauna was atmospheric and the steam was gentle, you could easily cool off on the deck. The kitchen was well-equipped, found everything you need. The beds and bedding were pleasant. Mikko communicated actively and kindly, making us feel welcome. I'm sure you can warmly recommend this place for a break from everyday life in all seasons. I think we'll visit again.

Eeva was very welcoming and helpful upon our arrival. We felt at home right away and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The sauna and direct access to the lake are highlights we appreciated a lot!

We’ve stayed here the second time and can only highly recommend it. The location is perfect. Quiet, relaxing, and ideal for unwinding. Everything was clean and well organized. We’ll gladly come back again!

The location of the house is very beautiful and quiet. On week days almost completely silent. The house was very well equipped and the boat was very good as well, both for rowing as with the engine. It was easy to rent a kayak in Oravi and great to paddle around all the little islands in front of the house. We had an excellent week in this house, the only thing we did not like were the impressive amount of ants that (due to the warm weather?) covered the non paved parts of the garden. Due to the big terrace this was not a major problem for us, but it prevented the kids from playing in the garden.

Very beautiful and secluded place with a good sauna and right by the lake. The cottage was just the right size for two and met all the needs.

This property was amazing, we had a great time being located in nature. The sauna, lake and fire pit were great in the evenings to unwind. The host was very helpful and responded quickly to messages. (Thank you Enni!) We will be looking to come back for sure!
