Family-friendly vacation rentals in Sautee Nacoochee

My family and I recently had a very nice stay at Erica's cabin. The cabin is large and very comfortable. It fulfilled all of our needs. The cabin is located on a 2 acre wooded lot and is close to town where we enjoyed eating at several of the restaurants. Erica was a responsive host with clear instructions and helpful suggestions. We would stay here again!

This was a cozy cabin completely outfitted with everything you need. Best part of the stay? Sipping wine on the back deck watching sunset over the mountains. Next best? Tea in the early mornings watching the deer walk through the property. It’s very peaceful. GREAT place to recharge and relax.

This cabin is SO cozy, quiet, peaceful and private! It was the perfect place for me to stay for my work trip (I'm a photographer), and the location was so wonderful. (: I sat on the porch to watch the storms roll by and to look at the beautiful mountains! Even saw some deer one morning; so special! I also really LOVED how big the driveway is. It's hard to turn around my truck (it's older and harder to see out of with my camper shell), but I had no problem at all turning around, which was a huge plus for me. The bed was super comfy, and I just had a super restful time! I'd love to stay here again at some point! 🥹🖤 Thank you Joni for such a great stay!

An unforgettable experience, everything was beautiful, waking up in the morning and seeing the deer around the cabin, the sunsets on the balcony, in short, our experience was magical, Amy was very attentive and explained everything in detail, no problems in the cabin, everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the rooms were very comfortable with everything ready, I definitely want to come back! This was my second time staying at Arthur & Ann’s beautiful property, and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. I came back as I wanted to share the experience with more friends and it did not disappoint. The beds are comfortable, the rooms on separate floors gave everyone a feeling of personal space, and the area is easily accessible while still being peaceful and stunning. We enjoyed great hikes, wineries, and restaurants in the area. Arthur provides thoughtful and detailed communication throughout the entire process, making everything seamless from check-in to check-out. We appreciate their continued care and hospitality- can’t wait to return!

Everything as expected. Back porch with view the best! Didn’t use tv instead stayed on back porch and visited with family.

We had a wonderful time at this lake house. Plenty of room for my family of five to spread out and relax and such a beautiful setting. The house had everything we needed to just relax and spend time there. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment. My sons loved fishing in the lake and we all enjoyed sitting around to bonfire at night. It was wonderful. Next time we will stay for longer!

This is the fourth time we have rented the cabin. Three times were for five weeks each. We love it there and could not ask for a better host, very responsive to our needs. Each time we return there are new additions to the property, this time a lovely fire pit and stairs leading from upper parking lot to cabin. Very peaceful and quiet with a pond on the property. We look for the deer and turkeys on the road to the cabin.

The cabin has a cozy feeling and is located nice and secluded at the end of a neighborhood, with plenty of privacy. Due to the weather we did not get to enjoy the outside but the bonfire looks like a great place to sit outside with family or friends. When booking, we didn’t realize the upstairs bedroom does not have a door, although this did not bother us because it was just my wife and I. We would go definitely come back here. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with.

The place was great and super clean. Close enough to town, so you can walk and no need for a car ($10 for full day of parking in town). The loft was awesome since you can wake up with the natural lighting coming from the window, and the bed was comfortable. The downstairs room was great as well. The shower was on the smaller side, and we wish it had a different shower head (like the one with a hose), but overall, very clean and comfortable bathroom. The jacuzzi was great and spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen had everything except a pizza pan, but we managed to make a pizza with a metal tin the oven had inside. Overall was a great experience; the place was really nice, cozy and comfortable. It was close to town, but it was far enough that it was quiet, so we had a really good night of sleep. Definitely recommended and would go back.

Incredibly unique experience!! The AirBNB itself was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. It is private set away from other structures. We loved the information left for us to learn about the history of the Mill. It is perfect for dog parents with a nice yard space and a really interesting property to take her for walks. Our favorite part was exploring the Mill!! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Very clean, comfortable, and walking distance to downtown, Clarkesville. Quiet neighborhood and a fenced-in backyard.

I enjoyed my stay at ILV and it was the getaway I needed. The views were amazing. Johnny was really thorough with his instructions on how to get up the driveway. My SUV handled it well. The cabin was clean and well stocked, and Johnny left local recommendations. I would definitely visit again.

Great location! Small cozy guest house. Parking spot was tight for our large 2500 but we made it work. Recommendations were great.

We come to Murphy all the time to visit family. We will definitely book again here if it’s available!

Place was great and peaceful

Great little getaway on a beautiful calm quiet lake. the house itself also has a lot more space that it appears to have in the description.

Perfect location for our annual trout fishing trip.

What a delightful place to stay. Plenty of room for the seven of us. It was great having the choice of playing ping pong, billiards, and such. Hiking was close by, and we were able to see multiple falls. So beautiful and peaceful.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The views from the house are incredible. It is very peaceful. The place was clean. Nina was very helpful and responsive when needed. We used the pool and hot tub, which was a short walk down the driveway. I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the area!

We were having our family Christmas get together and was so happy that the house was still beautifully decorated for Christmas. That made our gathering extra special! The house was perfect for our group!
