Saturna Island vacation rentals

Our 5 night stay at The Gite was a magical and peaceful retreat. The home offers a serene, bucolic escape that feels like stepping into a slower, more beautiful rhythm of life while conveniently located on the threshold of Ruckle Provincial Park. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by Nancy who was lovely and welcoming. She set the tone for our cozy and comfortable experience. The home itself is thoughtfully appointed and radiates charm. It’s the kind of place that makes you say, “I can move in here!” One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying delicious homemade scones and muffins from Robert and delivered twice during our visit. It was a thoughtful and memorable touch that made us truly cared for. Each afternoon we watched deer wander across the great lawn for a nibble; a daily visit that only deepened our sense of calm and connection to nature. Whether you’re hiking through the adjacent park or soaking in the tranquility from the comfort of The Gite, this is a gem.

Vilupti’s cabin was just what we needed. We needed a spot close to Bodega Ridge for a wedding where our girls and us could stay. It’s a small space but well stocked and decorated and worked great for what we needed! Thanks so much

Gorgeous space and location! Having 2 outdoor spaces with lots of seating was amazing. The beds are comfy; the windows make it seem like you are in the trees. Great little book with tips for the area. I would stay again!

Gyllian was a kind and friendly host. She had lots of knowledge to share about the area and gave us some great recommendations. We had a very relaxing stay and would definitely stay there again!

Marcia is the most amazing hostess, she welcomed us like old friends, super warm, helpful and responsive. This place is amazing, beautiful, comfortable, cozy and so unique. the type of airbnb that you don’t really see anymore on the loveliest property (loved having all the animals above) and the warmest hosts. This lovely hideaway is everything! It is my version of glamping but even moreso. This is exactly as described and is the ultimate hideaway. It is completely private. We stayed for 1 night as we passed through the area but I wish we had more time. The outhouse for the washroom is no different than expected especially for those who are used to camping and road tripping. It is a washroom minus the flush so do not let this deter you. The outdoor shower was everything!!!! And if not for the wilderness I would have slept outside on that hammock LOL The cabin has the perfect amount of space needed for 2. The loft room is spacious with plenty of head room. The wood burning stove is perfect for the space. It never smoked out and is easy to use. The space is authentically decorated, inviting and cozy. The hostess Franziska is so lovely and accommodating. If you need anything she is there! Thank you so much for offering this space. It embodies the beautiful island of Victoria. All the best!

This place was incredible, and so peaceful. The wildlife was amazing, the views were amazing and the cabin was amazing. I cannot recommend it enough for a nice restful time.

Mary Ellen was responsive to my questions and greeted us when we arrived. The cabin matched description and photos- we selected this location due to views and quiet, and was not disappointed. Kitchen has utensils and supplies for light cooking (although we didn't do any ourselves). The bathroom was clean, had the necessities. The patio was perfect for enjoying morning coffee and listening to the birds. If like me you are a city-dweller looking to get away from it all, then this cabin could be for you. It's a 15-min drive to town, and a 5-min drive to scenic lookouts including Lime Kiln. As others have mentioned, the road leading up to the house is windy/steep; the path that leads to the cabin is also steep (decline) and cell service is pretty poor. It was chilly, but did not bother us to the point I inquired about heating, but be aware the provided baseboard heater only kicks out a little bit of heat. Overall great value for location and access to nature.

Everything was absolutely perfect — from the cleanliness to the thoughtful amenities, even the blankets and towels were spotless and cozy. We were beyond satisfied and truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. It was a 100/10 experience! The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the place feel just like home. Communication was excellent throughout. Even the puppy came to greet us, which made it extra special! The location is ideal — very close to charming cafés and some great restaurants, yet tucked away in a peaceful setting. We loved waking up to the sounds of birds and listening to the rain from time to time. The shower area and sauna were our favorite highlights — absolutely relaxing and beautifully set up. The calming music added the perfect finishing touch. Highly recommended! We’d love to come back again!

First time visiting Pender Island! We all had an amazing stay! Lovely views and a cozy feel inside! Cardiac Hill definitely lives up to its name! Definitely recommend staying here!

Very private, cozy, unique place to spend a couple days away from the city. I very much enjoyed the space, and the island in general. I would definitely stay in the bus again. Waking up to deer right outside your window was a really cool experience.

This is a beautiful little cabin in the woods. It was appointed perfectly and we felt right at home. The outside area was beautiful with amazing gardens, trees, flowers, walking paths and a little pond. We walked to Beddis beach in about 15 mins with our morning coffees. Sauna and outdoor shower were great as well. Lovely stay.

Like a beach house in a movie. Truly beautiful. The spot is quiet and peaceful, nothing to distract from enjoying the ocean. The hosts were super friendly and very responsive to the few questions we had. 👍👍👍

Deborah’s place was better than expected. The photos don’t do it justice. It was quiet and peaceful. The garden was so pretty with all the busy bees and hummingbirds. It was walking distance to Bennett bay and the bistro. Beautiful spot.

Truly an exceptional place to stay, offering water access to the rugged beauty of Saturna Island, combined with the comfort and convenience of a luxury home in a very private setting (you have the islet all to yourself), and spectacular views. All amenities worked perfectly (fire pit, gas grill, laundry, fridge with ice maker, wifi). Beds and linens felt clean and and new. Very attentive and considerate host. Communication was easy. A friendly local support person met us upon arrival and helped ferry us and our bags to the islet. Highly recommended.

We absolutely adored Birgitte’s place and are already dreaming of our next visit! It was private, peaceful, and incredibly cozy — with a stunning view, thoughtful amenities (especially the hot tub!), and a convenient location for exploring town and the rest of the island. But our favourite part, hands down, was Birgitte’s homemade breakfasts and treats — truly divine, and made with so much love and care. A real gem! Thank you for having us.
