An absolute gem of a place. It’s not cheap but it’s got to be one of the best places I have ever stayed in the world! And I’ve stayed all over. The rooms and space were stunning, the design immaculate, lots of personal touches (cake, fruit etc) and the food…oh my! I would go back again in a heartbeat.

Amy’s place was exactly what I needed for my 5 week stay in Oaxaca. The house is a beautiful mix of traditional and modern. A simple and well designed space with everything I needed. The San Felipe neighborhood is a bit far from all the happenings in the city but if you’re comfortable being a bit off the beaten path and learn how the local buses work it makes for nice escape. Would definitely stay here again!

Ximena's place felt like staying at a friend's beloved home.There's a relaxed, comfy vibe, as shown in the photos, but actually being there, is hard to find words for. It's just very special. Both my friend and I cherished our time there. Some words of advice, pack in your favorite foods, coffee, granola, there's only a small bodega down the road, and frankly once you've landed, you won't wanna leave. The first night Jhonny gave us the name of a wonderful local woman who on relatively short notice prepared us a lovely, healthy meal. Or, venture out to the small restaurant in the village. We ate delicious quesadillas made with fresh tortillas. On hikes, we were told to carry a stick to deter dogs. We never used them but good advice for anyone walking on country roads in Mexico. The dogs we saw were sun sleeping in the middle of the roads. Like I said, it's a good relaxing spot. We loved using the washing machine and hanging our clothes out to dry. We got emotional leaving.

A stunning place to stay and bringing new guests is always an experience to see how they react -- always in awe!

We had a great time staying at Andrea’s place! It was in a really great location and in a cool neighbourhood. Andrea was really helpful in providing recommendations and was proactive in her communication. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location and super functional space

What a lovey spot for our family to gather and have a home base as we explored Oaxaca. It was perfect for us and we loved our time there. Mariana was helpful in her recommendations and there was never a need to contact her during our stay as the home provided everything we needed. It was also so very nice to have Raquel to clean for us and Efrain to manage the pool and outdoor spaces. We highly recommend this spot for travel to Oaxaca.

This is by far one of the best air bnbs we have ever stayed at. The family that runs the casa are incredibly generous and friendly. They have a really yummy restaurant next door which we also would highly recommend. This was the highlight of our stay in Oaxaca. Wish we could have stayed longer. Sergio makes sure that you have everything you need for your stay and gives great suggestions on things to do in the city. There were pastries and equipment to make coffee available in the room when I arrived. The little details were very thoughtful. The location was within walking distance to the center and some of the more popular neighborhoods. The AC worked well too.

My stay was beautiful. The home is bright, clean, & spacious with a well-stocked kitchen. There’s no oven, but I cooked every meal I wanted. The bed is comfy, & the patio is perfect for breakfast. There’s a stunning hike nearby. Map to “Montecito,” take the left fork, and it loops back to the house. More trails are a short taxi ride away. Buses to the city are easy (10 pesos), & DiDi for taxi. Maria offers a ride if it aligns with her work schedule. She’s incredibly kind & genuinely cares about her guests. Filtered water is available upon request, which was super helpful. There’s also a sweet cleaning service from Carmelita. The local market near Mula Café has amazing fresh produce. The neighborhood is peaceful & friendly. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs as dogs sometimes bark at night. This place feels like home thanks to the love and generosity of Maria and her family. I’m so grateful to have found it.

My family and I were delighted with how convenient and wonderful the department was. It was great for my party of five and allowed us to wander around the city without worrying about the time. Everything is within walking distance! I can confidently say that my stay here was better than it has been at any hotel. I would book this again!

The location cannot be beat. It is centrally located and everything is close. Paulina was very responsive and helpful with all her recommendations of where to eat or go and also recommends a travel company for tours. The house is comfortable, safe and easy to locate. We did stay with our dog and our dog felt comfortable also. The a/c worked great to keep the bedroom cool to sleep. I would recommend this location and the host. If we get back to Oaxaca we will stay at Paulinas.

Guadalupe place was so cute. Smaller than expected, however, clean and location felt safe. Guadalupe always responded in a quick manner when needing something. Our flight came in earlier than expected and she let us check in early since the place was ready. Guadalupe also helped us arrange for a taxi to the airport. Overall, we had a great time and Guadalupe place was well worth it. I would book again.

The location is good, a 20-minute walk from the zócalo in a straight line, having two rooms gives it a plus, very well-maintained, modern furniture, it has a nice design, with everything you may need, it even has an Alexa! As suggestions, the refrigerator cools a little, everything else is very pleasant. I recommend it!

Pros: - really central, close to restaurants, tour meeting points and thé city center - Larger than it looks - Really stocked kitchen if you opt to eat in - Martine was friendly and had some really great recommendations - Left us drinking water, and some toiletries which was a really nice touch Cons: - water pressure could be better but most likely a regional issue

We spent two months in the apartment and we very much felt welcomed and at home and very safe and cared for. The staff were very attentive and always proactively checked on us to make sure that we had everything we needed. Carina and Dolores handled most of everything from cleaning our apartment weekly to handling our trash, compost and linens. They were very kind and helpful in many ways. Whenever, there was a problem or we made a request it was handled very quickly. The internet is fast enough for doing video conferences but if you want to do two video conferences at once there is another wifi endpoint for the deck upstairs for a more optimal experience for each user. The location is very good. If you want to access more local experiences you can walk to the south and west where there are multiple local markets that are truly extraordinary. If you walk to the east you can access all the more well known attractions that Oaxaca is known for. Overall we had a great experience.

Renee always responded very quickly and was super helpful. The living room area is quite small, but perfectly adequate. The kitchen is pretty good, although there's not much room to store food or do preparation. It worked out fine, I did some very basic cooking and had no real problems.

Leticia was an excellent host. Her love of Oaxaca is evident in her sharing all the things to do in this unique city. She provided a lot of information directly to her guests, which included, restaurant suggestions, landmarks to make sure are on your list, updating you of festivals occurring during your stay and details about the markets which offer something to everyone. I would return in the future as a guest. Thanks

Loved staying here. Felt private, yet close to the main hub of centro. Great WiFi, weekly cleaning service (I stayed for one month), and a very responsive host. I had a very nice stay here. 🙂

For those that only read the first line of reviews , simply put we found this home perfect. Now if you are still reading we will tell you that the attention we received from our host was top notch. Constanza and Clara communicated through the app so well . When we wanted a more personal communication they meet us face to face. . We learned so much about the culture of the city and some spots we would never of found in a guide book or google searches. The home itself was as described and the plants throughout the courtyard were beautiful and soothing. Picking this location for your trip is something you will not regret

Zanduga was amazing. Abdiel was very responsive and was quick to help with whatever we needed. the communal areas were great for sitting around and playing cards and the pool was a nice extra to end the day after walking all around the city. The leave apartment is cozy and great for couples or family families . would recommend to anyone

It was a great stay at Cecilia’s and Sergio’s, they were absolutely lovely, very responsive to our many questions regarding check in and parking. An issue came up and they reacted very quickly to it which was very appreciative. Home matched the listing, wifi was also great for working from home and loved the location, very walkable to the many restaurants and bars nearby - would definitely stay again - thank you!
