Amit and Caroline are great hosts and the property is exactly as they have described it. We booked in at the last moments (in fact a couple of hours before we headed in) and Amit was very responsive and helped us with all information that we needed. The place is located at about 2.5 hours drive from Mumbai (Airport) and an esy drive once you're out of Mumbai traffic. It is located in a beautiful outland with sparse civilization. That makes the getaway very peaceful and private. There's a lake within 5 minute walk - with lovely mountain views and green meadows. The house itself is very well equipped - simple and elegant. We cooked ourselves simple and delicious breakfasts with the ingredients and utelsils that were on the house. For the other meals there is a menu available from a nearby restaurant - but we did not venture in on that. Amit and Caroline's hosting was par excellence. They are great hosts - and have everything sorted, to make their guests comfortable. Great stay!

The kitchen was surprisingly well-stocked, not just with snacks but also with ingredients like pasta, oil, and spices, which made it easy and enjoyable to cook a proper meal — a rare and thoughtful touch. The check-in process was smooth thanks to clear and detailed instructions. During my stay, the TV didn’t turn on, but the host responded within minutes and was genuinely apologetic, which I really appreciated. Overall, this was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a truly hospitable host.

The flat was very cozy and was squeaky clean when we arrived. The evening and morning view from the wall sized bedroom, kitchen and living room balconies is too amazing. The locality is also peaceful and exactly what you need after a long traffic ridden drive from Mumbai. The hosts are also very warm, responsive and accomodating. The stay is highly recommended.

The place is beautifully maintained with a charming garden that’s ideal for a morning stroll or just relaxing with a book. One of the highlights is the spacious terrace — great for enjoying the cool breeze and scenic views of the hills, especially during sunrise and sunset. The ambiance is serene, and the overall vibe makes you feel right at home. If you’re looking for a cozy and refreshing retreat in Lonavala, Hilly Nook is definitely worth a visit.
