Guesthouse vacation rentals in Sandy River

We were in and out of town for a wedding. The space is so very well organized, quiet and comfortable. Really appreciated the attention to sustainability. Would absolutely stay again.

Cannot say enough positive things about the Bluff Rd. studio and the hosts Teresa and Alan. The studio is very comfortable and features an incredible view of Mt. Hood from the back of the unit. The neighborhood is beautiful and a pleasure to stroll through. Teresa and Alan are wonderful, warm, accommodating people and I have genuinely enjoyed their company as well as their respectfulness of my privacy. I would recommend this house without hesitation to anyone looking for a stay in the Sandy area.

This was my second stay with Andrea and it didn’t disappoint. Cozy and calm retreat within walking distance of all the Mississippi fun. Loved having morning coffee with my dog on the outdoor patio space. This is earmarked on my Portland list for my future trips.

Absolutely loved our stay! The space was incredibly cozy — felt like a home away from home. Everything clearly well cared for and the kitchen was fully stocked, which made us feel right at home. Highly recommend the cottage for anyone wanting a cute and cozy stay while in Portland!

Erin’s BNB was exactly as described - clean, comfortable and welcoming. Beautiful area, especially around the property - flowers, fruit trees, herb garden - it was just beautiful. She was extremely responsive before, during and after our trip, which we really appreciated. The neighborhood was quiet, not far from restaurants and sights to see. Our reason for visiting was to watch our daughter graduate from PSU and the entire weekend was perfect! Thank you Erin!

Loved, loved, loved this cozy, well appointed loft cottage. Truly, everything we could ever need (and then some) was right there at our fingertips. The neighborhood was adorable and peaceful. We had a wonderful time, and will definitely come back. Now we have the perfect place to stay when we do!

Our stay here was amazing!! Nicole was so responsive and answered any questions we had almost instantly! The place itself was beautiful and very clean. The bed was SO comfortable and the place is small but felt very spacious and breathable! Perfect for 2 people. We would 100% stay here again. The only con about the place that we didn’t see people mention in other reviews were the spiders. The shower is outside (so cool) but there are lots of spiders and spiderwebs that get built seemingly overnight so we had to carefully tuck the tendrils of the overhanging plant into itself so we wouldn’t walk into the webs :) It wasn’t a HUGE issue and once we tucked everything away we didn’t walk into it anymore but for someone who doesn’t like bugs, the outdoor shower in the summer might not be your thing.

Such a cute cottage with the perfect amenities. Mark was super welcoming and left us with free snacks, candy, drinks, and ice cream! For sure our favorite place we’ve stayed at, we just felt so welcome. The house had a private patio area, surround system for the TV and heated floors. Will be staying here next time we visit!

The location is quiet and neighborly. Folks are out walking their dogs in the morning and evening and are friendly in the neighborhood. It is a peaceful street and easy to walk a block or two to catch a bus into nearby shops and restaurants. A close drive to downtown or an easy day trip to the Columbia Gorge, Coast, or Mt. Hood. Nice, clean, relaxing space. Hot tub is excellent and well-maintained, kitchen is stocked with quality gadgets and table settings. Hosts are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. But they do not expect/require extended in-person pleasantries upon arrival or departure or at any point throughout. They are available when needed, but mostly just gave us space to do our thing. In our case, we had a multi-day, large family gathering so solo decompression time at the Airbnb was much appreciated. Even got some work done over WiFi. It was also a nice spot to have a family member or two at a time over for lunch or a soak in the hot tub.

I very much enjoyed my stay, it was perfectly described with accurate pictures. Overall it was very private with a beautiful scenery and very clear instructions on how to check in. I would recommend staying here for a quiet disconnect and engaging with nature.

Very cute well decorated ADU with small private back porch. Super cute neighborhood. Walkable to coffee, food, and public transport. Great place if you want to experience what it’s like to live in Portland.

I am a multiple renter of William’s place and continue to rate it perfect for all my needs. Location is great, William is friendly and very responsive and respectful. Unit has full kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Already booked for a month in August. Thank you William!

Samantha’s house in Portland was perfect. There were so many things to do in the neighborhood that we really enjoyed including visiting coffee shops, restaurants, breweries, and cute local shops. The space itself was also amazing. It was very roomy, bright, and immaculate. We would definitely recommend staying at her place if you’re visiting Portland.

Vinay’s place was the perfect spot to relax after a few long days of exploring. It was clean, equipped with all the essentials, and very peaceful. It was our first time traveling with our little one and we all felt comfortable during our stay. Would definitely recommend.

I've stayed at Mike's place 7 or 8 times now. It's one of my favorite Airbnbs of all time. Basically, I won't come to Portland unless I can stay here--it's that good. It's beautiful, bright, comfortable, has everything you need and is in a great neighborhood. Mike is a great host!

This place was awesome. Definitely one of my favorites stays after being at a handful of airbnbs. Spacious and very nice place along with having quite literally anything you would need. Molly and Dan were very nice and responsive which made the stay even better.

This Airbnb is a lovely space. It’s compact—probably ideal for one person—but has all the amenities one could want. lt’s in a great part of Portland, tree-canopied area full of lovely, well-maintained homes. As an old Beatlemaniac, I especially appreciated all the Beatles things in the place!

We had such a great stay! It was my sister’s first time in Portland. The location was incredibly walkable, we didn’t even need to rent a car. It was easy to get to restaurants, shops, and everything we wanted to see. The hot tub and sauna were a perfect way to wind down at the end of the day. Would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend this place because 1) very very clean, certainly met my (high) standards, which allowed me to feel comfortable walking around barefoot, 2) well thought-out amenities (i.e. electric tea kettle, pots/pans, non-caffeinated tea, extra towels available), 3) comfortable bed and pillows, 4) private and peaceful, 5) very clean bathroom, 6) Mrs. Meyers soap and Dr. Kiehl's shower supplies, 7) adjustable TV with access to streaming services, and 8) beautiful interior design.

Susan’s place was perfect. It was private, quiet, and in a great neighborhood with the beach nearby and great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!
