House vacation rentals in San Juan Island

Emma's place was perfect for our needs. There was plenty of room for all of us - including our 2 big dogs! The decor is lovely, just like the pictures, but free from clutter, which I appreciated. The kitchen had every item we needed to make our meals. The sauna and cold soak tub were a very appreciated bonus! The neighborhood is very peaceful, and felt safe for walking our dogs. Most importantly was how kind, gracious, and communicative Emma was. She allowed us to check in early, which helped us immensely, and answered any questions we had quickly. I would definitely recommend this rental to others.

Lovely house with water views right within a quick drive of many Seattle area attractions. We had a great stay for a May wedding in the area. Allison has put a lot of thought into the house, with fun games, comfortable beds, and clear instructions for everything. Nearby Poulsbo is high on our list of recommendations.

We were a group of three couples with two kids between us, and the house was perfect for us (air hockey was a hit, as were the spectacular views). When the door code didn’t work on our way in, the agents helped us right away — very responsive.

We had a great time at Anna's house and immediately felt right at home. It had everything we needed. It felt perfectly secluded and private in spite of the neighborhood being relatively dense. The view of the lake was beautiful. We appreciated the house's proximity to Bellingham and the area's sprawling mountain bike trails. Grateful for our time there!

Stayed here for a girls’ getaway and it was PERFECT! The house is bit creaky and maybe not the best for small children, but for us it was fantastic. Hopped the ferry to Port Townsend one day and walked all around Fort Casey the next. Kitchen is stocked and living space is comfortable!

Destiny was very responsive, and extremely nice very accommodating! Very beautiful house and well taking care of!

This is an amazing home with an attentive/responsive host. We had a gathering of family and friends to celebrate my son's graduation. There was plenty of space, large beautifully updated kitchen. The pool and game room were the favored spots for the teens (Air hockey, shuffleboard and pinball!! ) and the covered deck and kitchen for the adults. We were all so comfortable, this was a hard home to leave because it had everything we needed, including very comfortable beds. We will recommend this rental over and over again.

Lara is a fabulous host! Her house amenities are abundant and well thought out! She has provisions for everything you would want or need. She is also very accommodating and responsive! Great personality! Her location is just remote enough to be peaceful but close enough to all local attractions and businesses to be very convenient. This home is fantastic, zero improvements necessary. I felt right at home as soon as we drove up, walked in the front door, stepped into a lovely bright entry which looked directly out to the ocean. Spectacular, quit the wow entry. The house is a 10, the yard is a 10 and the beds are all a 10 (a good comfortable bed is huge for me). Thank you Lori, we all had a wonderful time in your beautiful home.

This apartment was perfect for our stay. It was probably the cleanest place we've ever stayed in - it smelled clean as soon as you opened the door. Everything was in great condition - from the floors, appliances, bed, linens, etc. The location was perfect with a nice outdoor space and an unobstructed view of the harbor. The harbor itself is a fairly quiet but active harbor. There is a pizza place right next door (as in your deck wall shares their deck wall) and a BBQ place up the street (walkable if you want). There is a small cafe/store at the marina and they have coffee, breakfasts, lunches and snacks. For this apartment, as stated in the advertisement, you may hear noise from the people above. We did, but fortunately they went to bed early. It's mostly furniture and walking noise. The TV wifi wasn't that great, but Alainah was responsive and, frankly, the whole island has spotty wifi. There is a dedicated easy parking space too.

Gorgeous location, views are unbeatable. Such a lovely space, every member of the family read in the window seat at some point. Making breakfast and watching for the native otters to come play was a daily treat. The deck is massive and such a lovely vantage point of the harbor. So many critters to watch. Absolutely loved this home. We had 2 kids under 7 and they felt right at home with the stuffy toys and kids room with 2 single beds+. The house is about 5 min from the ferry and about 20-25 min from Eastsound - beautiful drive with lots of farm stands along the way.

We really enjoyed David’s house, which was clean, uncluttered, comfortable and beautiful, with beautiful views. David was very responsive with messages, and helpful with information about what might be happening in the area, and gave great suggestions for restaurants. Our vacation was even better than we’d planned because of David’s knowledgeable tips.

We were so comfortable in this beautiful, well appointed home. It was the perfect place to gather as a family to celebrate our WWU graduate. Loved sitting on the deck watching otters, seals, eagles, hummingbirds and more. Simply gorgeous. Better than the photos. The kayaks and paddle boards were easy to access and a blast to use. The hot tub felt great after running around campus all day. Perfect. Our host was responsive and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful location very close to downtown Oak Harbor and to the friends we were visiting; the place is cozy but comfortably housed 6 people including 3 adults and has space for a bit more. The back deck is one of the best places to relax and enjoy amazing views. If you are looking for a no fuss place with everything you need and close to everything in Oak Harbor, this is the place for you.

It’s the perfect escape if you’re looking to unplug and recharge. You feel like you’re truly away from it all, immersed in nature. The architecture is both unique and impressive, blending seamlessly into the landscape while offering thoughtful design details throughout. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and every amenity was top quality. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook full meals. You can tell a lot of care went into ensuring guests have everything they need. One of the highlights was the wildlife. We saw plenty of birds and even a bald eagle right outside the window! If you’re looking for a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature (without sacrificing comfort), this is it.

We had such a great stay on the property! We loved exploring the land with our dog. There were plenty of walking trails in the wooded forest surrounding the house. We spent so much time on the deck drinking coffee, eating all our meals, and just hanging out while our dog lounged in the grass. This is the kind of AirBnb that has so many extra amenities beyond the basics, especially in the kitchen. There were so many spices and oils and cookware so all our group meals were easy to make. The location was perfect for us, peaceful surroundings and only a 10-15 minute drive to any part of the island. We even did a small hike very close by, not even a 2 minute drive. Overall, we highly recommend Andrew's place!

We stayed at this wonderful house for 10 days. Exploring all the trails nearby, getting oysters and clams at the Oyster Farm down the street, playing Frisbee Golf and visiting all the sites on San Juan Island keep us very busy. Many birds, including the California Quail, visited the yard. Also, got to see the black fox one evening!! Thanks Patrick for sharing your home with us. We highly recommend this comfortable home and would love to come back and rent it again!!!

Philip’s place was beautiful and calm. It exceed our expectations and we very much enjoyed our stay. The large windows make you feel as though you’re outside and made the home feel very peaceful. We really appreciated the cookware and well resourced kitchen! Phil was also a very communicative and great host. He even scored us an earlier ferry ride when we were looking for another time slot. Overall we would definitely recommend!

What a great spot! Nestled in the woods in a peaceful and quiet setting this place is truly one-of-a-kind. The house is very unique with lots of character that sets it apart from the usual stays. It was clean and had all we needed. Our host Gramma Rikki was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and we could not take advantage of all the outdoor spaces and amenities. We played pool, sat by the cozy fire and did some island exploring by car. All in all it was a very enjoyable and relaxing getaway despite the crummy weather. We hope to return one day and experience everything this wonderful place has to offer.

This may be our favorite bnb we've stayed at on the islands and will probably be an annual thing. Such a perfect location and so quiet! Parking at the home is great, kitchen is fully loaded, living room is incredibly cozy, and all the seating from kitchen, to front window, to couch was perfect. We've stayed in places that were cool and fun locations, but there is rarely places to really cozy up and enjoy your stay in. The home was truly inspiring for someone who wants to build a tiny cabin one day. I wouldn't change a thing, cannot wait to get back!

The place was beautiful, both inside and outside of the property. We had a beautiful garden view, and a small patio to enjoy our Breaky in the morning! The place itself was very large, with a beautiful, modern kitchen. The bedrooms were nice, with one looking out/ opening up to the garden. The host left a nice booklet of all the best places to shop and eat — which was actually very helpful!! The parking was very good, and we even had “spare parking” If we needed it. Overall, very good stay, and we will be booking it again.
