La Danta, a Garden retreat within the city center of Oaxaca. You will be staying inside an incredible Garden built over 30 years ago inside the aqueduct that brought water to the city. The bungalows are hand carved Cantera stone emulating the aqueduct, a unique experience surrounded by the incredible garden.

This traditional Oaxacan house was handcrafted by local artisans in exquisite adobe walls, a shading porch, furnishings and decor. It nestles in gardens of trees and blooming succulents. We are in a Zapotec town with nearby restaurants and have easy transportation to Oaxaca city (20 minutes). We offer tours to villages and archaeological sites.
