Treehouse vacation rentals in San Carlos

AMAZING! One of our favorite places we have ever had the pleasure to stay at in Costa Rica and I have been coming to this beautiful country for a decade. The springs are fantastic and well maintained. the property is beautiful and has a great hiking trail loop. I got to see blue Jean strawberry dart frogs too! The treehouse is gorgeous, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen was great and the bed was comfortable. We loved it so much that we spent most of the day on the grounds after we checked out. the cherry on top was being greeted and having a chat with the wonderful owners. Kathy and Bernie and incredible people and I absolutely recommend this gem of a place!

We had the best time staying at David’s place! He was so responsive and accommodating. We felt so welcomed and loved our little jungle oasis 🩵 We would recommend David’s place to everyone looking for a private and hospitable home!!

Great place to enjoy a peaceful weekend

This home is amazing! You feel like you are staying in a tree house! Way more beautiful than the pictures show! Peaceful yet close to everything too! 10/10!

Words do not exist to even begin to explain how truly incredible Andrea’s cabins are. Such a beautiful, private and relaxing oasis. Just far enough from civilization to be able to fully enjoy the peace and quiet that is in Valle Azul but also so conveniently close to many fun attractions nearby. Such as the Arenal Volcano & hot springs. Also close to Ciudad Quesada city. We could see tucans, iguanas & so many more beautiful animals from our very own balcony. We were also able to pick our very own fruits from the trees on the property! So delicious. To top it off Andrea was such an amazing host, always attentive to our needs whatever they may be. She responded to all of our messages and/or in person questions immediately. She gave us such great advice on where to go and what to do. Always kept up with all of our needs in the cabin. She truly went above and beyond for us & we will definitely be coming back!

This was the most peaceful and unique Airbnb we've ever stayed in. Tracey and her family were so welcoming and she was great with offering recommendations when we asked. Book this place if you have the chance!

Jimmys place was fantastic! The location was amazing, just a few minutes drive into town and near all your La Fortuna favs - waterfall, hot springs, observatory. Felt incredibly private and safe while also being at the center of everything. We came for our 1 year wedding anniversary and we will definitely be back!

Amazing location near all of the tours in Monteverde secluded so you feel right at home!

The Sunset House is the perfect place to disconnect from the real world. The house architecture and the way it was built makes you feel part of the nature . Pictures doesn’t give to much credit of the real beauty of this place. It has everything to make you feel like home, plus more. Living in Miami I was looking for a place to disconnect from the stress and this place gave me everything I was looking for. From a stunning view , incredible location surrounding with everything you need ( Restaurants, Markets , Pharmacies, Main Attractions…..) it was a real disconnection for me. Also have to give a special credit to the host Evelyn . She’s awesome, thank you for making this trip a special one,thank you for making everything better an easier for me, thank you for your kindness and for welcoming in your house . What an incredible stay! We truly felt part of the family. We were welcomed by Joselyn who was so nice. Jorge gave us a tour the next day and helped my son hold his chickens. Such amazing people! Great for practicing Spanish :) The view from the cabin was incredible and the place is spotless. They put in mosquito netting which was helpful. Great location, close to town with great view of the volcano.

Amazing place with private balcony. Host was amazing as well. Really worth the price and experience and would definitely return. Had an amazing time here!

Perfect stay to experience wildlife! Edwin was extremely helpful and even helped to book some excursions for us. If we ever find ourselves in Monteverde again we will definitely be staying here!

It was amazing we saw SO MUCH WILDLIFE .. like omg. Heaven. Suspension bridges a walk away and free breakfast and the blue hibiscus.. I didn’t realize it was a hotel-Esque type place, which actually was a nice surprise. Front desk was a ton of help.. house keeping, food delivery etc. idk how that works with Airbnb but I’m not mad about it Really awesome experience. The volcano was gorgeous

This place was pretty cool, clean and quite. Esteban was a cool dude too, no English but his charades game was on point haha.

Veronica was super responsive and the ppace was absolutely beautifully and secluded. Great place to experience a getaway with nature.

We loved being immersed in the forest and listening to the birds and other wildlife. Edwin was extremely helpful in booking several activities and our return shuttle to San Jose. Most of the rest of our trip we had pre-scheduled, but we left room for some spontaneity in Monteverde, and Edwin was great at finding us opportunities. The space is small, but has everything we needed. It is a short walk into town with a wide variety of restaurants and a grocery store so we were able to make some of our own meals and find ample places to eat. We highly recommend this Airbnb.

This place was amazing! so unique. our only regret is not getting to spend more time there because we were so busy with the wonderful Monteverde yours. Edwin was very responsive, accommodation and helpful. we had an excellent experience. Pura vida!
