Waterfront vacation rentals in Salerno

We had an incredible time staying at Andrea’s place. He was super helpful in meeting us and helping us bring luggage up to the apartment. The view was beyond beautiful and he went out of his way to make sure he showed us everything in the kitchen and all the amenities we could use. His family was very friendly and we loved the terrace. Being able to do laundry was a huge bonus. The location couldn’t have been better; we were right in the middle of the square and the apartment overlooks the port of Amalfi. Very easy for ferry access and getting something to eat. Would definitely recommend!!

Mario and his property management team were incredibly responsive and friendly. The apartment complex is new and not fully built out with shops and few residents, but the unit was just as the photos. Right on the promenade, there are lots of activities, particularly on the weekends. It is an easy walk to historic center and just under a mile to the train station and the main ferry port. There is also a ferry terminal directly next to the complex that offers some ferries, but not as many as the other. Some suggestions for Mario to make the guests stay more welcoming - please provide some coffee and tea and instructions for the coffee maker. Paper towels and/or kitchen towels would also be good. Many air bnb provide some basic cooking materials such as salt/pepper, olive oil, sugar, and treats. I didn’t need any of that as I ate all meals out, but if you are looking to cook, there are no supplies- but all the cookware you need. But overall - 5 stars - highly recommend! Thank you Mario

Fefé was absolutely amazing! She was the best host you can ask for, communication was so on point. She gave me the best recommendations for all the places. Her place was spotless. Super super safe and secure as well! Very minimal steps to get to her place. My only call out would be it can get a little loud at night as her place is right above the port and a bar but Fefé has you covered with complimentary ear plugs. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Nunzio's place was great for 3 adults. Very comfortable, and as described on the website. Wonderful garden. The terrace, although up several flights of stairs, is spectacular and no one else was there the several times we used it for drinks or dinner. The location feels very typical of local life, and you can experience a non touristy town with great cafes, Gelato and many nice shops just steps away. The beach is a short walk and has both a public beach and several beach clubs with great bars and restaurants. A short walk to 3 train stations that will get you to all the key attractions in the area.

Do not hesitate to book this beautiful Atrani home. Jaqueline is the most amazing host. The home, the location and the locals have made this a highlight of our trip. Close walk to Amalfi , with the peace and tranquility of this wonderful neighbourhood. Thank you and we hope to be back

Stayed with Fedy for our first time in the beach town of Meta. The AirBNB was well situated and Fedy was wonderful to deal with. She was super thorough with check-in and gave us local recommendations plus how to access parking and where to take regional transportation. We’ll be back! Thanks for everything Fedy!

This is a perfect place to stay for your vacation in Salerno. Very convenient to delicious restaurants and fun bars. Walking distance to the ferry and the train station. The apartment is super comfortable and the host is extremely helpful with great suggestions. Love the little balcony for your evening glass of wine. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

This was the perfect place for our first time in Positano. The views are breathtaking, the location is very convenient and the apartment has everything you need to be comfortable. Letizia and Grady are superb hosts. They were very helpful in preparation for our trip, Grady greeted us on arrival and arranged porters to move our bags when we checked in and out (pro tip for any first timers: don’t think twice about hiring porters, you won’t regret it). Their guidebook was full of great suggestions and made it really easy for us to plan our stay. I know we will be back to Positano someday and this will be the first place we book!

We had an amazing 4 nights in this beautiful location, Melania’s place is situated in an idyllic area. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. Melania gave us lots of suggestions of places to visit and where to eat and was very helpful. We would love to return again sometime in the future. This place is a real gem!

We had a wonderful stay as a family in this spacious 2-story Amalfi home. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the center square and beach. So close to everything we needed, yet still quiet enough to relax. The apartment itself was much larger than we expected, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive throughout our stay. They made everything easy, from the smooth check-in process to the thoughtful video they shared to guide us right to the door. Every request or question we had was answered quickly and with care. It’s a place that helped make our family trip to Amalfi even more memorable. Highly recommend!

We had the best time staying at Casa Francesca. It’s just far enough from the center of Positano to feel peaceful and quiet, but still close enough to walk to all the restaurants, shops, and the main beach in ten minutes. The absolute best part? The private beach. While the main beaches in Positano were packed, we had this beautiful little spot all to ourselves—complete with beach chairs and kayaks. It was a dream! The Airbnb itself was so cute, with little garden areas and amazing views from the windows and terrace. The kitchen even had welcome snacks, drinks, and a Nespresso machine, which was such a nice touch. Our hosts were so kind and welcoming! They were also quick to respond and helpful when we had questions. We would recommend this Airbnb to anyone staying in Positano!

Wow what a place! We stayed here for the last few days of our honeymoon and have never experienced such amazing views, the photos do not do it justice and there is so much space on the terrace. The apartment has everything you need and was very clean and tidy. Benedetta was so helpful with check in, recommendations, helping us with the bus and with check out. She even left us some very thoughtful gifts for our honeymoon! There’s some shops and very nice restaurants just 5 minute walk away so you have everything you need. 100% recommend booking here.

Mirna is a true gem. Saying that she is the perfect host doesn’t do it justice - in the weeks leading up to my stay, she checked in regularly to make sure that I was able to book activities (as things get booked up in the Sorrento Coast). She arranged for me to have groceries delivered since I wasn’t renting a car nor scooter. She provided so much information that guided all of my activities, and even when I needed to make additional plans, she placed those calls for me to ensure that I could get reservations. Her kindness was so appreciated. Her home is very clean and her housekeeper was so helpful, even helping me to carry my luggage up the small hill to the main road. Mirna provided coffee, the kitchen utensils that I needed to make my own meals, and I didn’t need anything more. The VIEW is as spectacular as Mirna is…rent her home, you will regret not doing so…in addition to renting a car or scooter (otherwise, she has the name of a fantastic driver)!

Annamaria met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the apartment. She gave us keys and other information. She also kindly left us with some pastries for breakfast. I learnt to use a bialetti for my coffee which was quite easy and made delicious coffee. all of the activities around were super close by. Restaurants, cafes, shops, all within easy reach. The balcony is as big as it looks in the photos and is definitely the stand out of this apartment! It’s beautiful out there and the views are great. Thanks Annamaria!!

Bel accueil par Gabriella qui nous a tout bien expliqué le fonctionnement et les équipements et où garer la voiture! Appartement très spacieux, bien équipé, avec une terrasse face à l’église de Cetara, très bien placé proche de tous commerces et de la plage! Conforme aux attendus, nous n’avons pas été déçus! Si un jour nous revenons à Cetara, nous le relouerons sans hesitation!

Apparentamento pulito e in ordine, nonostante le temperature esterne non è stato necessario usare il condizionatore in quanto l’appartamento è fresco. Host disponibile a farci lasciare i bagagli prima del check in. Impeccabile

Nous avons passé un bon séjour en famille. La communication avec notre hote a toujours été bonne, cordiale et très réactive en cas de problème ou question. L'appartement est bien situé en bord du littoral avec une vue magnifique sur la mer et la baie de Naples (du coté balcon et chambre des enfants) et sur le Vésuve (du coté salle à vivre). L'appartement est grand, lumineux, bien entretenu et assez bien équipé. La plage à proximité est agréable. Il y a des commerces à proximité. Le seul point génant a été la difficulté à trouver un stationnement pour notre notre voiture les soirs de fin de semaine (vendredi au dimanche). Si vous venez en voiture, il est surement judicieux d'utiliser le stationnement proposé par l'hote.

This was my second time in Naples. My goal was to find a location to say that was at the heart of everything but was also quiet and clean. This apartment was PERFECT for this. I was able to walk to all the main attractions and easily take the ferry’s for day trip (walking distance to main port) and come home to a peaceful, spacious, and clean apartment. The only warning I have is the stairs to the top- but honestly I welcomed it because it justified all the great food I was eating.

Die Wohnung von Raffaele ist genau so, wie sie auf den Fotos dargestellt wird. Einen wunderschönen Innenhof hat uns empfangen mit einem super freundlichen Portier, so wie es in den schönen Gebäuden in Neapel noch heute gibt. Wir konnten unser Gepäck bei ihm deponieren (man muss etwas bezahlen) und konnten bereits problemlos und ohne Gepäck durch die schönen Strassen von Neapel spazieren. Das Check-in hat sehr gut funktioniert und wir konnten dann die das schöne und gepflegte Appartment übernehmen. Wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Raffaele stand uns immer zur Verfügung für jegliche Info. Man ist zu Fuss sehr schnell in den schönsten Gassen und Sehenswürdigkeiten von Neapel, die UBahn ist gleich vor dem Haus. In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden, was man für einen längeren Aufenthalt sehr gut gebrauchen kann. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder und werden das Bijou von Raffaele sehr gerne weiterempfehlen. We had a wonderful time at Roberta’s place. The location is incredible, and the house is spacious and has everything you might need. As other people have mentioned, you can hear the music from Il Pirata next door at night - for us this was only an issue on the Saturday night when they had a party. Roberta gave us lots of excellent recommendations, we will definitely be back!
