Vacation rentals with beach access in Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron

We had a lovely stay, apparently quiet and pleasant, all comforts!

Excellent stay. The apartment is very clean, ideally located and matches the listing.

The apartment is great overall for family of 4. 1 large, but shared bathroom. No separate WC. Some age on the furnishings. Well laid out and had all housewares needed. Decor is curated. Excellent location. Friendly and accommodating host. (AC would have made this an even better stay. )

We had a pleasant stay in the charming studio, ideally located! Close to the beach, shops and market square. Although very close to the heart of the village, the accommodation is extremely quiet! Cécile and Eric's hosting was perfect. They care about your well-being throughout the entire stay. We'll be happy to go back to this rental :-) We highly recommend this listing!

A very nice apartment overlooking the harbor entrance - located between the Ketten and Laternenturm. The property is located in a beautiful old house made of white limestone. The apartment was well ventilated by many skylights and the slopes make the apartment very charming. There are a variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a beach is 5 minutes away and downtown La Rochelle is also a few minutes away. We arrived by train and did a lot on foot or by rental bike. The property is also within walking distance of the train station.

Very pleasant stay in a quiet area but close to beaches and the Port de la Cotinière. Small but functional and very well arranged accommodation; small terrace with enough space to dine or have breakfast. But above all a very warm welcome from our host Muriel, discreet and smiling, we wish we had more time to get to know each other. But 5 days it goes by quickly and we went, with our 7-year-old grandson, to discover the charms of this wild and beautiful island and the activities it offered us. Super Host, large and bright apartment with a very nice decor and lots of facilities. View from the window of the pretty building of the Marché des Marennes with its Baltard-style architecture and the three restaurants less than a minute away. 10 min by bike to the beach (thank you for the bike:)). The large parking lot of Place Carnot is 100 m away. Special mention for the layout of the apartment (there must be about twenty light points and sockets and the kitchen is used with much more than the essentials). Thank you for everything, we'll be back with pleasure.

This is a wonderful house and location. Secluded, atmospheric, and with a feeling of home.

Martine's cozy attached cottage is a perfect place to stay in St. Georges. The apartment is great for two people and Martine has supplied just about any convenience you can think of. The bed was very comfortable, parking was right in front, patios in front and in back. We loved the wall of jasmine in front. It is about a 15 minute walk to the beach (shorter if you have a bike - which many people do). Also, there is a couple great restaurants close by. Martine is lovely and was very flexible with our check in time. She always got back to us very quickly. I would highly recommend this cute little beach abode.

Everything was perfect. The place is as charming as it is welcoming: a tastefully renovated cellar, and above all perfectly equipped. There's absolutely nothing you need. We immediately felt good there, almost at home. Bike rental is a real plus to enjoy the island, and the recommendations (walks, restaurants...) are really valuable. If we come back to the island of Oléron, this is where we will stay again, without hesitation.

Excellent week of vacation, ideal location on the island to enjoy the Cotinière on foot (shops, restaurants, beaches...) The house and the outdoors (with the possibility of parking a vehicle) are perfect and in accordance with the descriptions to fully enjoy our stay. What can I say except that the accommodation is sublime, in a beautiful setting. The ultra-complete amenities, the comfort of having bikes for everyone as well as the restaurants/bars (the Atypique!) without forgetting the nearby beaches won us over. We will be back!

Warning: you'll love it! It is with great nostalgia that we left this rental... We had a wonderful week (very exotic for us who come from Haute-Savoie!) in a privileged location just a short walk from the ocean. The house is lovely, you immediately feel at home! Everything was perfect, as shown in the photos, nothing was missing. Tania is a perfect host. We only have one desire now… to come back next year. We had a pleasant stay at Marielle and Jean Claude's very well located apartment. We were able to enjoy their beautiful terrace. The residence is very well maintained and very quiet. Beautiful studio, very clean and well-equipped, with a good real bed and a small terrace. Well located, close to the beaches of Vaux-sur-Mer and Saint-Palais, easily accessible on foot as well as shops. We also enjoyed the calm, the view of the trees framing a small stretch of sea and the reserved parking. In addition, the host welcomes us in person, for once it's not a lockbox, it's appreciable.

Absolutely beautiful apartment with all the amenities you need. Extremely clean and we'll decorated. Very close to great restaurants. Highly recommend.
