Family-friendly vacation rentals in Saint-Jean-de-Luz

Sandra was a fantastic host greeting us by producing lovely meat, cheese, wine and beer in the bar area. She was contactable throughout our stay and has been helpful sorting out something for me since we left. The property is amazing with 5 bedrooms and several bathrooms/WCs. We used the pool and hot tub every day along with the games room containing a pool table and bar with a fridge and dishwasher. The rear garden is huge and the is a petanque court and table tennis table. There is generous outside space to eat (there were 9 of us) helped by a good sized gas bbq. The kitchen has loads of space with many of the cupboards full of items to be used. The nearest supermarkets (Intermarche & Carrefour) are both a few minutes drive with Carrefour offering low costs fuel. It is a relatively short drive to Bayonne which is a lovely town astride a river with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops with pretty good car parks available. Overall a lovely villa with a fantastic host.

We loved our stay at Julie's beautiful gite! The gite is fully equipped, lots of privacy and space, the garden is great, the pool and the jacuzzi pure luxury and the views and tranquility magical. Highly recommended. The hostesses were super friendly, helpful and took care of everything. Beautiful surroundings, close to the beautiful beaches, st jean de luz center and the mountains.

Very nice spacious apartment, newly renovated, with a beautiful terrace allowing you to eat facing the market and enjoy its atmosphere. Close to all amenities, ideally located in Saint Jean. The windows must be closed at night for sensitive sleepers because the very busy street remains noisy in the evening and at night.

Great location close to the beach and under shady trees in a quiet neighborhood. The place is fully equipped, you can tell that Christelle and Benoit have a lot of experience there. It's also great that the breakfast for the first morning was already provided by Christelle and Benoit, so you can enjoy the holiday from the first minute.

Relaxing and soothing stay in the middle of nature. Nearby beach, about 40 min walk because the closest is for naturists. It has everything you need for a pleasant time. Thank you again.

Annie was there to welcome us & was very pleasant. The flat was in a good location for the beach & restaurants. The flat was ideal for myself & my husband and had everything we needed. As it overlooks the main street my only question would be if it would be noisy later at night.

We had a great time at this beautiful typical Basque country house. As soon as we arrived, we felt right at home: everything is perfectly thought out, nothing is missing. The garden is beautiful, a true haven of peace. Reading in a deckchair listening only to the birdsong, with the soothing sound of church bells in the distance, is simply magical. And what can I say about the hosts: welcoming, friendly and really very nice, they greatly contributed to the quality of our stay. A place where you can fully recharge. Thank you for this beautiful parenthesis!

This is our second stay in Claude's apartments. This time we enjoyed the view on the south side. The apartment is very comfortable and quiet while being very close to restaurants and beaches. Everything was perfect from our point of view.

We can only agree with the other very positive reviews for Mikel and his apartment. The Gros neighborhood is a wonderful starting point with lots of restaurants and shops. The sights are within walking distance. Zurriola beach is right outside the door and, with the many surfers, always offers a lot to see, even from the balcony of the apartment. Mikel himself is very friendly and accommodating, a great host. Absolutely top recommendation.

The house is very nice, quiet, well located in Ciboure, no difficulties to park the car; Beaches and port nearby (a small hill to climb to get to the accommodation but not insurmountable on foot). Don't hesitate Thierry and Jocelyne

We had a great time in this charming Basque house, ideal for a family vacation. The house is spacious, well-equipped and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The environment is very quiet, perfect for relaxing. The view is beautiful and the location is perfect, close to Saint-Jean-de-Luz, San Sebastian and amenities. Thanks to Marie-Hélène and her husband for their warm hosting and availability.

Authentic house in a very quiet environment not overlooked. Very pleasant stay in a beautiful area with lots of walks for those who like to hike with elevation. Very well located house close to Biarritz, Spain, the ocean and the main Basque villages... We'll be there again.

Well-equipped accommodation, as described, and which perfectly met our expectations. Responsive host and very flexible check-in and check-out by his mother, who also gave us good advice on things to do and not to do in the area. Interesting location with private parking, which is a plus in summer.

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this home. Perfect for groups or families and the house had everything you could want to make you feel at home. The location is perfect if you plan to visit multiple French and Spanish cites. Very great location close to beaches and restaurants. We would definitely like to come again!

We had a really nice family holiday at Annie's place. The house and town are perfect for hiking in the area and short day trips to e.g. San Sebastian and to the sea. We've enjoyed it a lot.
