House vacation rentals in Saco

We had a wonderful stay- place was pristine and welcoming, looks exactly like the photos. Of course being closer to water is always great and can’t beat it for the price. Many OOB hotels leave much to be desired and are outrageously expensive for what you get. After some less than stellar experiences, to be somewhere clean, free of bugs and animals was a relief. Easy uber ride or trolley to boardwalk. Definitely would rent there again!

We had a wonderful time! Going during off season was very peaceful and quiet will definitely book again in the future!

Gorgeous house, peaceful area, a great back deck with pool and hot tub! Jey was a great host, very helpful and quick response time. The house was very clean and put together. I would totally recommend staying at jeys house!!

Jordanna’s place was beautiful and cozy! Perfect for a small family or girls trip up to 3 people. Place was spotless, lots to do in the area and will close proximity to Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. Would go back anytime!

Had a quick weekend getaway at Keith's place. Everything was perfect. Easy check in and great communication.

Angela’s place was wonderful! Very cozy, clean and comfortable, well stocked, close to downtown Portland. Snacks was a nice touch! Angela was very responsive. Hope to come back soon!

Kathi’s place was great! Super close to the Downtown Portland/Old Port area. Kathi was a great host, extremely responsive and genuinely nice, plus she even made my family and I some delicious blueberry muffins for our stay! Her instructions were clear and she made us feel right at home! Would definitely stay again whenever we’re in the area!

Jon’s cabin is a beautiful place to get away from it all. Very comfortable and well designed. We had everything we needed to cook and hole up for a few days. If you decide to drive to the lake, I would recommend 4WD. We had a truck but were not aware of how soft the ground was and ended up needing to be towed out. Still highly recommend! Enjoy your stay!

Danielle's cottage was so comfortable for our short holiday weekend stay with our dogs! Her place was so clean and comfortable, we were greeted with a nice hand written welcome note and snack basket. Having the beach gear available was a real plus not to have to pack extra chairs and things ourselves. Would definitely stay there again in the future!

This place is beautiful! We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch with our meals and morning tea. The ocean waves rocked us to sleep at night. I especially enjoyed the little things in the kitchen. Actual good quality pots and pans. Bowls knives and cutting boards. They even provided foil and Saran Wrap! And coffee! The area is nice with cute restaurants and stores with in walking distance. 10 out of 10 in my opinion!

What a great place! Enough room for all eight of us to be together, front porch, fire pit, or be in our own space, shed, living room, bedrooms. Easy access to beach, boardwalk, & even a day in Portland. Thank you Gretchen for making our time at your house so enjoyable & comfortable.

We loved staying at Julie's place. Great proximity to the beach and marsh. We had multiple walks and found many "keepable" beach glass pieces and one very special shell. It was very nice to have a sandy beach so close and we took advantage of that. The location worked well for us as we made a few day trips to Brunswick and Kennebunkport. The cottage was just what we expected - no surprises or unplanned events. I recommend staying here for anyone who enjoys lovely daily walks on the beach. We also checked out Ferry State Park - lots of trails to hike there also. It's very close by.

It was a great location for a quick getaway. Close to Portland and plenty of places to eat in town. I only met Clarishell but she was lovely!

Alex was a great host! Very responsive and helpful! My family and I were traveling about 3 hours away, Alex went out of her way to let us know we were able to come up an hour earlier to settle. It made such a difference. So cozy and comfortable! It was very neat and orderly. Close to so many fun things to do and a good location!

Largely a great place to stay! Besides the dead bee we found on the ground upon arrival, the place was very clean. All the amenities were present. We requested extra towels so we could use fresh towels after a few days, and Devin was able to supply them the same day. The area was safe and private. There were lots of spices that we could use for our food and lots of utensils and kitchen items. The bathroom was cramped and the floors had nails that were not sunken low enough so your feet occasionally caught on the heads, but it added to the character of the house! Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and we will definitely be returning!

We love our stay so much! We are a family with 2 kids and we are traveling with the grand parents, and the house makes everyone happy. The owner put a lot of effort into preparing the houses and they thought of everything we need. They have all the cooking ware we need and the bathrooms are very clean. The location is great, 5min drive to the beach with grocery stores close by. The surrounding is quiet and peaceful. Overall the house is great and we are looking forward to come again.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this cute little Airbnb! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how extremely clean and well-maintained the space was. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into making this place both comfortable and welcoming. The layout of the space was perfect for our needs, with everything we could want right at our fingertips. The bed was super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. Plus, having access to a washer and dryer was a huge bonus for us, especially since we were so close to the beach—it made everything convenient! Speaking of the beach, the location couldn’t have been better. It’s just a short and easy drive to nearby spots, but the best part is how quiet and peaceful the area is. Being tucked away from the crowds while still being right next to the beach made this stay truly special.

The house was perfect for two families. We loved having the hot tub and a comfortable patio to relax at. The basketball courts across the street were convenient as our kids love basketball. We would go back again. Thank you for a wonderful stay and great recommendations.

We stayed here with 8 woman for a bachelorette party weekend. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. It was in walking distance to downtown. The house was spacious and clean. The downstairs area was perfect for celebrating. The master bathroom was gorgeous and very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had a serene experience staying here. Although the weather was mostly rainy or cloudy, we loved the lake location and maximized the indoor, outdoor, and nearby activity options. The hosts were so responsive, regardless of the question, and made this a truly delightful visit. This was my parents’ first Airbnb experience and it set the bar higher than I could have imagined! My family and I are already talking about coming back!!

Peter was very friendly and helpful, he responded quickly to questions about checking out. His place was clean and beautiful, and very peaceful. We have friends who live in the area and would definitely stay here again!

Val was wonderful! the place is beautiful and is as advertised. the only issue that we had, was there are abnormally high lips around the transitional areas into different rooms. specifically, going from the main living area to the main bathroom, and going from the dining area to the kitchen. a couple of us stubbed our toes on these transitional areas, however it wasn't bad enough to take away from the fun. we are extremely greatful for Val and her home! would DEFINITELY stay again!!! 10/10

A group of 6 gals stayed here for a Bachelorette weekend and it had everything we could have needed for a cozy retreat! The pictures are exactly what the space looks like. The backyard is big and private. We spent our mornings on the porch and evenings in the sunroom. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious. An added bonus was access to bikes and other beach equipment! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to visit the Ferry Beach/Camp Ellis area but are looking for more space and/or privacy than beachside supplies.
