Perfect spot in downtown Stillwater. Very quiet. You can walk to all the great places in downtown. Cheris is very quick to respond with any questions.

If you want to experience downtown Stillwater, this is THE perfect place. It really embodies the essence of the area. We didn’t have to drive anywhere. We ate like kings and queens, visited shops and went for walks. Our warm and cozy lair was always a few minutes away. We recommend!

This place was gorgeous! The character of the building made it an amazing place to stay. And being right in downtown meant we could park our car and walk everywhere during our stay. Well worth your money to stay here!

This place was wonderful, from the views to the comfort. The loft felt warm and homey. All amenities provide were adequate. The prime location of the loft was perfect..easy walk to anywhere you'd want to go in Stillwater. Would absolutely stay again.

Cheris’s place is a perfect downtown Stillwater location. It is cozy and spacious at the same time, with a great view of the Lift Bridge. I would definitely recommend it to people looking for a getaway, anytime of the year!

Michell and Bruce are awesome hosts. Michell was attentive, respectfull, and allways made sure everything was ok. The space is like a clean and furnished studio apartment that is mostly private. The bedroom, kitchenette, and bathroom are 100% private while the living room and laundry room are shared yet only used by the hosts to let the dog out in the backyard. I would highly recommend this space especially for longer term stays.

This loft space is very large and in an excellent location in Stillwater. We were within walking distance of tons or restaurants, bars, shops, etc. - everything we were looking for. It was clean and exactly as described. There are stairs leading up to it, and it does have street noise due to the location, but that was to be expected. Would rent this space again!

This is the best place to stay in Stillwater if you are looking for a home feeling. No need to drive anywhere as you can shop, dine and play all within walking distance. I have only stayed in the winter and always have a blast. The steps to get to the loft would be challenging for seniors. I have stayed here with my family as well as with girlfriends. You will love this place and the beds are comfortable.

This place is awesome! Location can't be beat. It is huge, seems even larger in person then the photo's. Very clean, Nice that it had a smart TV so we could do our Netflix binging. There was shampoo, body wash, kleenex, towels, washcloths, soft blankets on couch. What more could you want, all you need is your clothes and food. Great places to dine and some GREAT specials! Fun stores all around. We were here in the winter and am looking forward to staying again in the summer. Parking and the stairs are the only negatives but the place is so nice its worth those 2 drawbacks. LOVED our stay.

This is the best place to stay if you're looking to go out downtown and not have far to walk home. Best location I could've imagined for our night out at the JX Venue, just a few blocks away. Plenty of dining options within close proximity and the loft itself was super cute. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved it! Great place and a great view of the St Croix River. Stillwater definitely lives up to its reputation as a cool/trendy/boutique town with a great waterfront. Numerous comfortable restaurants, sports-friendly bars, all the way up to upscale martini bars/restaurants. Ideal for our business trips. It's a perfect location for both the city and river recreation activities. Don't let the fact that it is towards the further suburbs of Twin Cities deter you. I initially wondered about that before purchasing, but it is a very easy/straight-shot drive through the rest of the suburbs into downtown on Minnesota Highway 36. As a result, we found it very comfortable -- you can probably spend more time on the roadways going to isolated places actually within the city. So the location was sneakily quite helpful and comfortable. And as cool as Stillwater and the house is, it is well worth it! It was ideal for our business trips and we loved it. Lastly, the hosts are wonderful people and very engaged. They went well out of their way to make our stay comfortable! My favorite hosts we've had. And they make for a very lively/festive neighborhood atmosphere. Holiday street parties etc.  I wholeheartedly recommend!

The guest house is on a beautiful lake (I enjoyed just driving up to it), and Sharon was friendly and helpful, making sure we had what we needed. The space was great for relaxing. We had a great stay.

Everything here was wonderful. Doug and Sharon went above and beyond to make this experience perfect. There were warm drinks provided, a cozy hot tub, adorable home, and even a couple fun movies to watch. We felt safe and even spoiled. Such a perfect girls weekend getaway.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Doug and Sharon's. They greeted us upon our arrival and then gave us our privacy for the duration of our stay. The guest suite was clean, spacious, and everything we were hoping for. The view of the lake out the living room windows was to die for--absolutely beautiful. A few complimentary snacks and water in the fridge was a nice touch. It's convenient location near Stillwater was perfect for us. We will be back!

If you’re looking for a whole-house rental in downtown Stillwater, look no further. A Spacious Place is as its name suggests, very large, and the views of downtown and the river valley are stunning. We used the house as our HQ for our wedding ceremony across the street at Pioneer Park, and my now wife attests: “It was perfect for our wedding, and the relaxing pre-wedding day soak in the Japanese-style tub alone was worth the trip.”

Comfortable house with some unique surprises - soaking tub in the shower. Walking distance from town, the rooftop deck is out of this world. Great views of river - excellent backdrop for great conversations. This place is a winner!!

Very conveniently located from downtown Hudson. Spacious. Had a small seating area in kitchen and then a 4-top table in the front room that had a lot of room. Bedrooms nice and large.

We stayed at Kay’s place for the Thanksgiving weekend and we had a great time. The home was very neat and had all the essentials. The check in was quick and easy and the response time was also very quick. I would recommend her place to anyone visiting the area

Quaint cottage that was very clean and felt like home. Kay stocked the frig with milk, juice, coffee and yogurt and left fruit and biscotte for us on the table. Not too far from downtown and a beautiful, safe neighborhood. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and this setting was the perfect spot. Would definitely recommend for any occasion. Kay is a thoughtful and kind host who we could tell put a lot of time and thought into decorating and gardening to make the cottage look and feel comfortable. We loved walking around this beautiful river town!

Fantastic modern loft.

Maria’s place is wonderful! A peaceful getaway that feels very remote but is actually very close to some great places for dining and antiquing, also state parks, and the St. Croix. If you’re looking for a unique and beautiful space immersed in nature, I highly recommend it.

Maria’s chalet in the woods was nestled in the beautiful bluffs/hills of the St. Croix River Valley. The chalet was a whimsical place to escape from city life. Maria was quick to respond with details of our visit. We would definitely visit Maria’s place again

This was an excellent place to stay. Very close to Stillwater that was very beautiful in the fall. Not too far of a drive from St Paul. She gave excellent directions. The lake was very peaceful and relaxing.

The place was a little winter oasis for our family of four! The extra touches like cute mason jar glasses, family games, books and cozy blankets made the place feel special and cabin-like. The home is charmingly older, so it could feel a bit drafty at times. However, once we were all settled in and hanging out we barley noticed the cold. We drank the bottle of wine provided by the host (!!!) with the Thanksgiving-style Turkey Dinner that we made in the modest but full little kitchen. We also enjoyed watching movies on Netflix and Amazon Prime in the living area. Importantly, the entire house felt sparkling clean and smelled quite nice. Was a great place to hang out and put together a puzzle. If we ever stayed in Hudson again for a weekend, we would strongly consider returning!

Great location in the heart of downtown

This apartment was a great place to stay with 4 people, we had a wedding to attend at Studio J which was right behind the apartment so the location could not be better. It is right in the heart of downtown Stillwater and you can walk to everything. The apartment is beautiful, exposed brick, very nice front deck (if it was summer this would be great). The only issue we had was with the bed upstairs, it is very soft, but Sarah was very accommodating and there was an extra fold out mattress in the apartment so the solution was quick and easy. We would definitely stay here again if we have another trip to Stillwater.

Wow..this place is in the heart of Stillwater, you can't ask for a better location. Not many places have a private garage where you can enter a beautiful place with 2 bedrooms and be able to easily get to the best restaurants, bars, shops, breweries and wineries all within steps. The house has everything you could need and the beds are very comfortable. Thanks for being amazing hosts and allowing us to stay in your place for an extended weekend.

You can expect a private area in the middle of downtown. The location doesn't get any better and the accommodations are top notch! Beautiful space and even a place to park your car inside. We loved it!

Sarah's apartment is beautiful; the pictures do not do it justice. The apartment is spotless, nicely decorated and conveniently located. The little touches are what make it so amazing though. Sarah had cookies available, extra toiletries, and an iron set up. The check in process was very easy. Sarah is easy to contact and quick to respond. I would highly recommend her apartment to anyone staying in Stillwater!

Other guests can expect a very clean, a very nicely decorated apartment and the locations was great. Would recommend ear plugs and eye shades. The bar down the street was a little loud late into the night and the bedroom has white curtains that do not block much light.

It was exactly what we needed - bright, spacious, clean, and close to everything. We loved the kitchen, the lovely bathroom, and all the windows - making it great for doing hair & make up. It was perfect!!!

Kim's house is stylish and spacious and a nice walk to downtown Stillwater. We really enjoyed our stay. The sauna was a fun plus to the place. Kim's communication was fast and she was so kind. Highly recommend!

Just want to start by saying Raymond was a great host! Any questions we had he would promptly get back to us. We rented the house for a girls weekend getaway, the group loved the open concept of the kitchen/living area and warmth of the heated floors. Everything was very clean and well kept. The location of the house allowed us to travel easily to Hudson, Stillwater, and Mall of America. Our overall expierence was great, we would highly recommend staying here!

This is a hidden gem of a home! It’s an adorable house and decorated beautifully and loved every moment we spent in it! It’s in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and the beds were so comfortable - we slept like babies! The kitchen has everything you need and more! By far the best stocked AirBnB I’ve been in! My friends and I had a wonderful time and couldn’t stop admiring many aspects of the house. The location is ideal for walking downtown, the accommodations are very comfortable, and the decorating is lovely. Matthew is a great host that seems to really put a lot of thought into his guests’ experience. I highly recommend!

We stayed here over New Years and it was a great find! Beautiful home with a great set up for us to get together with a few friends that we hadn't seen in a while. The house was well decorated and well cleaned. We brought our 3 year and there was a little desk with activities for her to work on and she loved that. There are a lot of these little nice touches all around. We would definitely stay here again!

This house is so beautiful and inviting! We booked a last minute reservation and Matthew was quick to respond and very helpful. He had the house sparkling clean for our arrival, even though it was during the holidays and the previous guests had just left that day. This house is well stocked with so many thoughtful touches to make a very comfortable stay. The location is great, in a quiet neighborhood, and an easy walk to the river or downtown Hudson. Another bonus that makes this place an outstanding option, is the easy checkout with no cleaning list or laundry requirements at the end of your stay! We would definitely recommend this home!

Great place to stay in the Hudson area! We were in Hudson for a wedding and we were minutes from everything we needed- restaurants, golf, shopping. Super clean and comfortable home with large fenced in yard for our dogs. Walkout basement would be a very nice long term stay space.

We had a lovely time in this beautiful historic bed and breakfast. The room was spacious with a supersize spa tub. Very relaxing. Rachelle was a gracious host. The breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed the complimentary wine and treats on arriving.

The Aurora Staples Inn is a must stay if you are in Stillwater. It adds character with the very traditional home decor. Bold colors, patterns and we got to love all that fringe. Breakfast was amazing and Rachelle made everything so convenient for our impulse stay!

A sweet mini-moon getaway.

Room was perfect. It was clean, spa tub was relaxing, and the wine that was offered was incredible. This, on top of an amazing breakfast and excellent hospitality, would make us recommend Rachelle’s bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a special stay.

I stayed at The Escape for a week to visit with friends and family in the area. My expectations were pretty high after reading the other reviews and I wasn’t disappointed! The house is lovely and very well equipped. The weather was cool enough for me to use the fireplace, a treat for me still it’s still in the 80’s in Florida where I live! The Escape is in a great location to visit Stillwater and Hudson and the nearby state parks, or just a wonderful place to curl up and read a book by the fire on a rainy day. With the different levels and trees all around, it feels like being in a treehouse! Autumn was a nice time to visit and see the beautiful fall foliage but the house would be great in any season!

This was a really special place. The property is really beautiful. The home is a cool Frank Lloyd Wright style set in the river bluffs but also has updated bathrooms. The pictures don’t do it justice.

What a unique, cute little home! It was immaculately clean — I typically bring all my own linens when staying in a home like this, but I didn’t need anything I brought with. Beds were super comfortable, the outdoor space was beautiful and private and you can tell this property is expertly cared for with love. We spent days in both Hudson and Stillwater - very close to all the “action”, then back home to this retreat. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at The Escape as a workstaycation. It's about six miles north of downtown Hudson and overlooking the Saint Croix River. The master bedroom bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the fire pit overlooking the river was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home, fantastic location, so close to downtown Hudson. It was a great rental for a girls weekend - kitchen was perfect to cook a meal for a group, stocked with everything you would need. Everyone had their own room/space, and the living room was comfortable, a great space to visit. Jay was very quick to respond from the initial request and through our stay.

This house is great for larger groups. Perfectly situated close to downtown Hudson and near some great restaurants, bars, and boutiques. Plenty of beds and thoughtful touches throughout the house made it a perfect getaway for our girls weekend.

This house was super clean, linens and towels smelled fresh and the kitchen was very well equipped. Living and dining rooms are great group spaces. Little details went a long way. Super comfortable place. The best AirBnB I’ve stayed in so far.

House was perfect! Lots of room and sleeps many guests. Location is perfect and in walking distance to the adorable downtown area. Kitchen is nicely remodeled as well.

This is a beautiful home with so much space for guests! The downstairs area is perfect for entertaining many people and the kitchen is amazing - I loved it! We used it the weekend of our daughter's wedding and had the bridesmaids stay one night and did hair/makeup there also. Plenty of room for everyone! Jay is awesome to work with and very accommodating. He is quick to get back to you if you have questions. I highly recommend this home!
