  • A brilliant find! The caravan is at the foot of Moel Famau and a perfect location for getting out and about. Chris and mike were perfect hosts, offering us extra towels (without us asking) and a late check out. They were on hand if we needed anything but also gave us plenty of space. Some lovely, thoughtful touches to welcome us. We’ll be back soon!

  • Two night stay as family with young children. Excellent location as lovely forest and countryside all around you. We were able to travel along a very picturesque road into betwyscoed in less than an hour. Directly over the road is a small park for the children and I can definitely recommend the nature trail which only takes around 45 mins to complete Caravan lovely and clean and hosts arranged fresh bread , milk and butter for us which was a nice touch. The children lovely all the games that are inside the caravan. Thank you for a lovely stay. Steve / Debbie & family.

The house is set in a beautiful valley on the outskirts of ruthin, surrounded by fields and woodlands. The private 16 acres of grounds offer orchards, terraces, large fish pond, private fields & cherry, bluebell woodlands. Guests have access to WiFi and a library of books, DVDs & games and free play pool table in the lounge. Freeview and DVD players are in each room. The house is great for groups, adventurers and families alike, with plenty of space and a large car park for multiple cars.
We are happy for you to have up to 2 well behaved pets during your stay, please feel free to excercise them in the extensive lawned areas but please poop a scoop when doing so. Also please keep pets out of the bedrooms and lounge. Guests can use all rooms of the main house apart from the locked rooms of the house which are used for storage and cleaning equipment. Guests can use all of the grounds although we do ask that if other guests are staying at the holiday chalet on the grounds, that you allow them their privacy and avoid the areas to the chalet side of the driveway and immediately around the chalet. The orchard, fields and woodlands adjoining the property behind the sheds on the hill are at guests disposal, but please be aware of your proximity to the chalet. We do ask that guests do not enter the grounds around the sheds as there are many hazards due to building materials and uneven grounds. Access to the woodlands and fields is easiest via the gate down the lane towards Ruthin and round the bend. Please ensure gate is closed immediately after opening or climb over the gate instead if sheep are in the field. If there are no sheep in the field, the gate is usually left open, if you do have to open the gate please be careful if as the large sprung fastening gates can be tricky to open and can cause injury if you are not familiar with how to open an close them. Please be aware that certain areas still have bits of building work left to complete and so we would ask that you do not enter the top level terrace under any circumstances as not safety railings have been installed yet and keep a close eye on children ensuring they do not enter this area or the area around the top sheds. If work is being done on this top level, the work is of a silent nature so should not disturb you and we will notify you in advance so you are aware someone is due there. Please also be aware that there is renovation work still being finished off in the chalet currently, so please do not be alarmed at seeing unfamiliar faces over there during the day. They are our regular staff and they also do the general maintenance of the house grounds. They will be restricting their work to the chalet in order to maintain privacy at the main house and will not be doing any particularly noisy work so it should not affect guests at all.
The property is set in a stunning location near the town of ruthin, surrounded by fields and woodlands. The house has 6 bedrooms and four bathrooms and a cloak room WC. There is a beautiful custom made antique pine country kitchen upstairs, fully equipped and includes fridge, microwave, extra table top oven, various appliances and a dishwasher. There is a huge lounge and dining room, secondary downstairs kitchen/ laundry room, downstairs dining area as well as 16 acres of its own private fields and woodlands behind the property and a private orchard with pear, apple and cherry trees. The house was designed as a topsy turvy house with the kitchen and lounge upstairs and the majority of the bedrooms downstairs, ideal for those with restricted mobility as there is also kitchen and dining facilities downstairs. Each room has a tv, Freeview and DVD player. Cotton bed linen and Egyptian cotton towels are also provided to guests. WiFi is included. Cots, highchairs, Moses basket all available for a small set up fee. Please enquire. The woodlands are full of cherry trees and boast a beautiful bluebell carpet in the spring. At the far end of the fields it becomes national forestry land which is accessible via a entrance halfway down the lane towards ruthin. This area is called Rhyd y Gaseg and is a very short walk from the house but is well worth a visit, boasting beautiful woodland scenery with a waterfall and stream, ethereal trees, wild flowers and ferns. Wild garlic is also abundant in this area in spring. Ruthin our local town is a medieval market town with a beautiful red sandstone castle which although it is now a hotel, is open to view by the public and also runs medieval Welsh banquet nights and has beautiful gardens which are open to the public. Ruthin has some beautiful buildings and shops to cater for most tastes, from local food and drink produce to clothing. The supermarkets in town are of a substantial size and well stocked. The market runs in the town hall a couple of times a week. There are plenty of pubs in town and some really good restaurants for an evening out. Should you have a car, there are many beautiful places to visit further afield in north Wales including the breathtaking snowdonia national park with its amazingly dramatic landscape and its train to the top of Mount Snowdon, which is a 35 minute drive away, about 50-60 minutes to the Snowdonia train. Rhyg Farm estate which is famous for its bison farming and has an amazing gourmet farm shop and buffalo grill restaurant is 15 minutes away, the stunning walled city of chester is approximately 50 minutes away, Anglesey is about an hour and a quarter away, with many pretty coastal towns with castles and beaches on the way such as Penrhyn, Llandudno and Bangor. The pretty and bustling town of Llangollen is about 20-25 minutes away and is well worth a visit with its steam train, gushing river and the international Eisteddfod which is held there every year. Wherever you go in north Wales there is bound to be amazingly beautiful scenery on the way.
  • Great house in really lovely location. Oliver was quick to respond and helpful.

    Helen2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Wow - what a wonderful home. Perfect for gathering with friends or family. Fantastic communal living room with dining table (even better than the photos). Ample amount if space, very clean and communication/ instructions were great. A car is definitely needed as in the middle of the country but that is not a negative. Views are beautiful and if the weather had been better I know the walks would have been stunning! Thank you Oliver for a great stay.

    Amy2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The house is huge in a lovely rural setting. We had a great time, thank you!

  • Had a great stay with friends. Host was very helpfull and friendly. Location was perfect as was the house. Would highly recommend. Our whole party said they would come again soon

  • Great place to stay for a family getaway. We had a lovely time bringing the new year in with 8 adults, two children under 3 and a dog! Would recommend for outdoorsy people who like walking and going on ventures. Really lovely. Bathrooms are slightly dated but that had no impact on our stay as it’s just decor. Oliver was a fantastic host and had great communication when needed. Thank you.

    Charlotte2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We visited Oliver’s as a large family party with children and this house was perfect. The space of the accommodation was great especially the lounge area which the kids thought was more like the lounge of a castle! The grounds and walk to Ruthin were lovely and the house offered games, books, pool table etc. Without being picky there isn’t much I could fault and we’ve already discussed visiting again next year. Huge thank you Oliver.

  • This house is an amazing space for a large family or group to share. The living area is one of the best I've experienced for a large group. Set in wonderful rural surroundings but close to town centre too. It was clean and well equipped though one or two things weren't fully working when we were there. The wonderful large rooms and thoughtful touches such as leaving us a Christmas tree more than made up for those things though.

  • Mair welcomes us to her beautiful home on arrival with no issues. Unfortunately we were only there for 5 hours to sleep and didn't get to make full use and enjoyment of the lovely annexe available to us. The house was warm from a wood burner, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice. This is obviously a place best enjoyed as part of a relaxed longer stay - but rally fans up at 4am to go to Brenig are equally welcomed by the host.

  • We had a lovely stay at Mair's beautiful cottage, and the warmest of welcomes. This is a very special place and Mair is a wonderful hostess - very thoughtful about the needs of her guests. The offer of lifts to and from the Offa's Dyke path was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended and definitely one of the best places to stay on the entire trail.

  • Beautiful house, very clean and quiet. Lovely bathroom and relaxing atmosphere.

    Adele2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Mair was a great host. The space was lovely and spacious, and the kitchen has wonderful views over the Vale of Clywd. It was also very conveniently located for me as I was walking Offa's Dyke and Mair's house is only 0.8 miles from the path. The local pub was also very friendly, and Mair kindly booked me a table. I would be very happy to return!

Eating breakfast in her fabulously designed kitchen with views across the Snowdonian Mountain ranges was amazing . We will definitely be revisiting again with so much more to explore in the area . Formerly the stable and having many previous uses (including housing the turkeys!), the cottage adjoins the owners Grade II listed farmhouse which dates back to 1749. Retaining much of its former character, interesting features displaying the buildings previous uses are still evident today including the stone squares in the courtyard wall used to house Beehives and a double wooded toilet in the small shed (not working), providing a fascinating glimpse of the bygone farming era. Chickens can be seen wandering the Orchard and grounds surrounding Geinas Farmhouse Stable which are bursting with fruit trees - guests are welcome to help themselves to fruit when in seasons and the chickens supply wonderfully fresh eggs (some are put in the welcome basket). • Myself and my friend have just returned from a long weekend at Gary’s place celebrating our 40th birthdays and we couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. Nothing was too much trouble for Gary, what a lovely gentleman. Friendly, helpful and unless we needed help with anything we were left in peace to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The apartment is fabulous; clean, cute and quirky, having 2 separate bathrooms was bliss and the hot tub is just amazing! Lovely and private. We both agreed that we could happily live there! Everything you need is provided with lots of extra touches to make the stay super comfortable. Can not praise it enough. We walked the dog around Ruthin which was lovely having a look at the quaint shops. There is a fabulous Fish & Chip shop a few minutes walk away. Thank you Gary and Carys, we will definitely be back.

  • Compact space, but with everything you need. Warm and snug. Lovely to look over the river and park - we saw a kingfisher from the kitchen window one morning! Fantastic host, fitted us in last minute as we had a family emergency, excellent communication.

  • Just returned from a five day break over the new year. Apartment lovely and clean and full of thoughtful touches. Had everything from towels to washing up liquid to dvds, board games and books. The apartment has a quirky layout, three beds in the first bedroom with on suite, then double bed in the lounge area. The balcony area is fantastic, plenty of seating areas under fairylights, and the hottub overlooking the lake full of ducks and swans. There's a good Indian and a handfull of pubs within walking distance which we visited. The area is easy to reach many of the fantastic walking routes nearby. Perfect place to unwind!

  • A great find in a wonderful location. The property was immaculately clean and the Christmas touches were hugely appreciated. Having never visited Ruthin before, we were pleased with choosing this property to stay in as the town is such a short walk away with some great amenities. The tranquility of the apartment is something else, honestly I don’t think we can put it into words. Gary is a fabulous and friendly host, nothing was too much trouble and the value for money is out of this world. Highly recommend this property - we stayed for a week and so pleased that we did!

My place is close to the Offas Dyke and Clwydian Mountains. From the breakfast bar you get stunning views of the mountains. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with children).
A cosy cottage based in the foothills of the Clwydian Mountains. The cottage with its loft conversion sleeps 4, in a cosy double bed upstairs and a fun double Murphy bed downstairs. There are also extra put-me-up beds and travel cot available upon request making the accommodation available for six people plus a baby. As you enter the building you will be in the fully equipped kitchen; it has a fridge/freezer, microwave, dish washer and gas cooker. There is also a breakfast bar that looks out into a beautiful garden with stunning view of Moel Famau in the distance. The wet room is entered at the end of the kitchen and this has a fantastic rain shower. From the kitchen another door leads you into a large lounge and dining area, with comfortable sofas and stunning views over the fields to the mountains. In the lounge behind sliding doors you will find the Murphy bed fully equipped with reading lights and cosy bedding. French doors lead to a small private garden with patio area and BBQ, although this is fenced off from the main garden, this can be accessed by a small gate allowing you the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful plants and shrubs. There are loft stairs (a quirky narrow staircase) leading to a long cosy bedroom with a comfy double bed from where you can lie and look at the stars or pull down the blackout blinds for a long sleep. At the top of the stairs you will find comfy chairs and a small table where you can just sit relax and read your favourite book or one you have borrowed from the bookcase in the lounge.
We are located down a single track lane with just one set of neighbours who are lovely. There is a very low crime rate and most of the noise comes from the surrounding sheep and cows. There is however another property further down the lane so we do request that you reverse onto the drive way for your own safety so that you can then pull out onto the lane when you leave.

  • Absolutely amazing place to spend our time. We loved every minute of it. Views were beautiful. If back in Wales again, this is where we’ll be staying.

  • We were staying at the cottage for three nights. It is perfectly located and not far from all the beautiful spots in the national park. Jackie was always very helpful. We really enjoyed the homemade bread and jam!

    Saskia2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful tranquil cottage with everything you could possibly need! Total peace and quiet in a beautiful home, Jackie has thought of everything you might need. We arrived to an absolutely spotless home, and found Jackie had left us some fresh bread, jam, marmalade, butter and lots of other lovely little touches to make the stay even better. It’s a warm and cosy place, thank god as it was quite stormy while we were there! Beautiful views all around, friendly dogs you can play with and a super friendly cat, plus chicken down the bottom of the garden, if you want to visit them. We collected freshly laid eggs (after checking with our host that was ok), my daughter loved it. Overall, can’t recommend it enough to anyone! We are definitely going back ASAP

  • Don’t hesitate, just click the “book it now” button at the bottom of this page! Me and my partner have been on many trips, stayed in many places, traveled lots, And I can safely say that this beautiful place has been my favourite so far and definitely a place I will be returning too. After instantly being welcomed upon a late evening arrival, we walked into the beautiful door of this beautiful house and instantly felt at home. The home is full of so many thoughtful touches such as a very detailed guide, the gift of fresh eggs (from the chickens 🐓 ) and little jar of jam, fresh butter and many more!, which instantly made us feel special and welcomed. The views are stunning, this home is stunning, our stay was stunning and we already want to return! It’s only been one day! To anybody umming and arring... Just press the book button, you will not regret it!

    Katie2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is the perfect countryside getaway! It is quaint, clean, convenient, and relaxing. I would not recommend arriving at night if you can avoid it, as getting to the cottage is a bit difficult if you can't see the surrounding scenery. Regardless, the location is wonderful and just remote enough to unplug and unwind. My friends and I had a great stay and so thoroughly enjoyed all of the thoughtful touches- especially the fresh eggs and bread!

    Emily2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a lovely weekend here, the cottage was lovely. Lots of lovely touches and thoughtful extras that made us feel really welcome. Excellent for families with young children too. “Castell” (Welsh for castle), is our first Glamping Pod. You can enjoy the Pod on its own, or book along with its brother “Arthur” for groups of 4. Situated on a quiet caravan and camping site in Denbigh, North Wales, the Pod is ideal for a romantic getaway, hikers or those travelling the area. The pod is heated inside and tea and coffee facilities are included. The seated decking area offers undisturbed views onto the Clwydian Range. Newly renovated 2020 on-site shower and toilet facilities.
This pod was built by a local craftsman using high quality local materials. It is finished to an extremely high standard and is furnished with a brand new two-seater sofa bed in 2019, small coffee table, storage facilities, heater, and a kettle. There are outdoor chairs and table, along with good lighting for evening relaxation.
We are just a 5 minutes walk from a restaurant, pubs, and various local shops.
  • This property is very clean and well equipped with the host having added a few lovely touches to make your stay very comfortable , also the communication with the host is superb from booking to end

    Amanda2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is an outstanding pod, which will completely exceed your expectations. It did ours. It’s a no brainer to book this.

    Myles2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely 2 night stay in the pod and it was brilliant! The pod was very clean and in a fantastic location for activities we had booked and also not too far to the beach! The Italian was only a 5 minute walk away and was also fantastic. Gaynor was a fabulous host and replied very quickly to messages and was happy to answer any questions we had, she even put a balloon in the pod for my partners birthday!

    Rosie2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Myself and my partner stayed in the Castell pod for 3 nights as we were visiting family close by in Rhyl, which was around a 20 minute drive. Check in was easy and efficient and Gaynor was very friendly. We were able to park right next to the pod which was brilliant. Inside, the pod had towels, a hairdryer, duvet, pillows, a kettle and some drinks - tea, coffee, hot chocolate and bottled water for you to use as you wished and Gaynor let us know that she would be happy to replenish these as and when we needed. The sofa bed was comfy, although we had brought an extra duvet with us in case and so used that as extra padding, although we probably didn't need it! One thing we did do was turn the sofa bed horizontally as it was the perfect size for the width of the pod which gave us more room for our things. The windows have blinds for at night or whilst you are out and the key can be kept safe in the lock box on the outside of the pod when you leave. The site has two shower and toilet blocks, one of which is closer to the pod than the other. Gaynor told us that we were free to use either but that one of them had recently been done up. We found that although the older block (which was the closer of the two) wasn't as pretty as the newer block, the showers were more powerful and it was still very clean. However, the newer block did have seperate, private spaces where you could get dry and dressed out of the shower which was handy. Both blocks had plenty of hot water for a good shower so either of them was suitable for our needs. The views from the pod are incredible and its lovely to sit outside on the porch with a drink in the morning to watch the sunrise. The sheep are great neighbours too! We had such peaceful nights because it was so quiet on the campsite. Everyone camping was very friendly but your privacy is also respected. One little tip - there is a cafe close by called Marg's Cafe where we had breakfast one morning. It was delicious and good value for money. They also do food for you to takeaway if you fancied picking it up and taking it back to the pod. We had a wonderful time and would happily stay again. Thankyou so much!

  • Linda's apartment is a great place to stay in Rhuthun. It's centrally located, roomy and has all you could need. Besides, It's fun to stay in an old Tudor house!

    Maggi2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful room in an historic house. The road it's on is quiet although it's in the centre of Ruthin. There's lots to see and do in this beautiful town and the surrounding countryside. Lynda is welcoming and hosts impeccably clean accomodation. The room is very large - larger perhaps than the photos suggest. The bed is comfortable and everything worked perfectly - TV, wi-fi and tea/coffee making equipment. I would strongly recommend this room. Thank you again, Lynda.

    Dianne2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a treat this place is!! The pictures don’t really show how special this room is. We stayed just for the night while we had a day in North Wales. I met Lynda, who was a great host, who quickly showed me around. There’s lots of private space other than the bedroom. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. But the bedroom is fantastic, roomy, clean, the bed is really comfy. Such a great place to have for the day. I would certainly go back again. Can’t say how great it is.

    Antonio2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking for authenticity, a kind and reliable host, and a lovely space to enjoy your stay in Ruthin, Lynda is who you need. We are so glad we decided to base ourselves in Ruthin for our Mount Snowdon adventure, it was far less hectic and busy as other surrounding areas. We also picked up a few trinkets from Lynda's antique store downstairs! Thanks Lynda, we will be back!

  • Sian's place as everything you need for a break in the country side. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, shower was good and she had left towels for us to use and was easy to find with the direction Sian had given me. We were following Wales Rally GB and was in a perfect location, I would recommend this place and would use it again for following the rally next year.

This is a lovely room with its own walk in shower, toilet and sink and a small area with microwave, kettle and toaster and fridge is just off the room in an annexe. The room has it’s own private access through the patio door on the deck. TV and views looking out to the garden with loads of lovely walks directly across the road from your lodge bedroom. Please note the room is self contained within our property so you will hear us living there when we are home.
There is a space on the deck to be used by guests who would like to sit outside and the room has its own parking space right by the access to the room.
The greenery and sounds of the birds and the stream is so totally relaxing and with lots of walking and biking trails right outside the door. Great place to just relax and soak up the atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of busy city life.
  • We really loved our stay here. There were so many thoughtful touches and we especially loved sitting out on the decking, despite it being a bit chilly. We were provided with a cosy blanket to keep us warm which was very thoughtful! Lovely location and pretty little place. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

  • We had great stay at Chris and Mike's place. The room within the house was generously sized with a great comfy bed and stylish bathroom that had a brilliant shower. The location itself was perfect for us, literally being across the road from Moel Famau for a great hike up to see the Jubilee Tower. Mold, Ruthin and Llangollen are also very close car journeys away. Chris and Mike were lovely to deal with and were happy to help in any way they could. We'd high recommend staying at their place and will consider It again if we are ever in the area again.

A newly renovated single storey cottage located next to the owner’s house nestled at the foot of the Clwyd Hills...…we are dog friendly. Ideal for a couple/small family/but please note, NOT suitable for children under 12. You are surrounded by captivating farmland with views of Moel Famau. The garden is shared with the owner but the cottage has a private enclosed patio area. Cadole sits conveniently between Mold (popular market town)and Ruthin (renowned for medieval architecture shops and pubs.
There are captivating farmland views from the large patio doors leading from the open plan living area. The kitchen is well equipped with two comfortable bedrooms. The décor is simple with welsh slate floors throughout apart from the carpeted bedrooms. A typical Welsh village pub is less than 5 minutes walk. The Loggerheads Country Park is approx. 10 to 15 mins walk providing beautiful woodland walks and a café.
Tyddyn Daws Bach is just a short distance either on foot or by car, to the Clwyd Hills; my favourite walks being to the top Moel Famau/Moel Arthur. The views offered are breath taking; showing the Vale of Clwyd, Denbighshire, the Clwyd Range and on a clear day, Snowdon. After a walk with my best friend( Seren the lab), which is very often, I like to pop into Caffi Florence in the Loggerheads Country Park for some locally cooked food.
  • We had a wonderful stay at Jacqueline's accommodation, it was amazingly clean and comfortable and she was very accommodating with our arrival. The Welsh cakes went down a treat and we really enjoyed staying the the area - a brilliant host and lovely place to stay would highly recommend!

    Gary2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed in The Roost as a solo Traveller. Straight away I felt at ease. The property is beautifully laid out and very well maintained. The surrounding area is full of natural beauty and the Old Mill Holiday Homes maintains that theme. It has a tranquil feel and relaxing, peaceful atmosphere. There is a surprisingly busy road beside the property but it does not impact on the peace of the homes. The room I stayed in was " room only" but had lots of thoughtful touches/extras. I've stayed in many B&B's and been frustrated with the tiny kettle that is awkward to fill and takes ages to boil. So full size kettle was much appreciated. The fridge enabled me to have cold drinks and store snacks which is a definite plus. There were plates and cutlery which is also a first for me. Liz has obviously used her own experiences to ensure her guests have as perfect as possible stay. I only met Liz briefly when she made sure all was ok but she sent messages and replied to mine very quickly. I also knew she was there if I needed her. There is lots to see and do locally within 15-20 minute drive. It's also easy to get to Chester, Liverpool, Rhyl and Conway. The whole of North Wales coast can be explored easily. I can recommend I walk up Moel Famau for the views alone. All in all I had a lovely stay at The Roost. I was busy but came away feeling refreshed. I can highly recommend the property and will hopefully be back

    Jane2019-07-06T00:00:00Z

The carpets upstairs feel like you're floating on air and the heated floor downstairs adds that cosy feel! A big free standing bath to relax in, a super comfy bed, and a gorgeous view to wake up to. The breakfast hamper was a lovely touch and set us up for a day at Chirk Castle. Wholeheartedly recommended.

  • 6 out of 5 starts. This is how much we love Tara's place. I was captivated by the photo and to be honest the place is so so much better in person! We arrived quite late around 6pm and it was already dark. Tara gave us very clear directions to her place. Eventhough you can Waze or google her place, you must follow her directions precisely. Tara was there to great us and upon entering there was this lovely smell in her house that is just so homey and relaxing. We were shown to our room and it was amazing!! It's super clean and very well styled. We thought that the bathroom was outside but it was en suite to our room. You only do not have your private room and bathroom but you also have the whole floor to yourself including a lovely reading area. Upon waking up the next day, Tara provided a breakfast hamper with bread, vegan butter, plant based milk, jams, cereals, fruits, yoghurt, and orange juice! there's available water, water heater, plant based milk, tea and toaster just outside the bedroom. After our breakfast we opened the curtains and it we had the most wonderful view! If you want some peace and quiet then Tara's place is the best place to stay. The bed was very very comfortable and the place is just a gem! We would definitely come back and stay in Tara's place.

  • Absolutely wonderful place to stay! Where to start! From the excellent communication prior to arrival, to the beautifully decorated room (which includes a en suite, living room space and balcony with spectacular views of the Welsh countryside) to the breakfast hamper - everything was perfect. If you are looking to get away from it all and spend some time in peace and quiet within a beautiful environment this place is for you. Little touches such as toaster, kettle, tea , coffee and biscuits and a great breakfast hamper in the morning make the experience even better. Room is spotless and mattress is so comfy. Bed is in front of doors which makes waking up to the most spectacular views of North Wales so special. Highly recommended Tara's place to anyone! Tara is so friendly and made us feel so comfortable and at home. Very close to Ruthin town (10 minute drive) should you want to go out for dinner or groceries

  • Anna and the gang were amazing! Made us feel completely at home and helped us with everything we wanted! Would recommend this anyone for a little break!

    Rob2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely room just outside of Ruthin with a fantastic jacuzzi just next door. Anna was a superb host who was quick to reply to our queries and provide that little bit of local knowledge. The bed is huge and shower a perfect start to the day. If in the area we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

    Matt2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • I booked this spot very last minute for me and my boyfriend (on the day!) for a night away and had a reply pretty much immediately. Anna gave lots of great tips for evening dining and lunch which was great! The room was warm and cosy as soon as we arrived with a modern/rustic vibe. Lots of nice little touches like a chocolate to have with a brew and the softest dressing gowns! We were greeted on arrival by the cutest pup who took us to our room... I hope he gets a treat! It was also nice to be able to use the sauna and whirl pool in the morning, nice and relaxing. Overall a lovely place to stay, romantic and secluded with lovely views. Would definitely recommend.

    Dany2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Really warm full house. Very comfortable and clean. Hopefully next time will come again.

    Evelyn2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, host quick to respond and full of information and advice for the local area. Little touches like the heated floor is wonderful. My only advice is if on the curvier side bring your own dressing gown.

    Tiffany2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Anna’s place is lovely. Very clean and comfortable bed! The bathroom is very nice loved the walk in shower. The views from the bedroom are also lovey. We used the spa on both days of our stay and it was very relaxing after spending the days walking! We visited ‘on the hill’ restaurant for dinner and were blown away the food was amazing! I would recommend this place 100%.

    Rosa2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Anna is a great host. We were celebrating our anniversary and she had left a note and some touches for us to make the stay extra special. The spa is in the next door building and has a lovely big jacuzzi pool and a sauna. Anna’s local knowledge is great and she was super helpful. G reat location but you do need a car - recommend the local Moel Famau walk and the Dinorben Arms in Bodfari. Our only wish for the room was that there was a sofa or some other space to relax in other than the bedroom and shower room (v luxurious though it is!) but overall, a lovely friendly stay and good value for money. Diolch yn fawr Anna!
