Part of a beautiful old stone mill transformed into a 1 bed luxury holiday cottage, nestled in 13 acres of pasture & woods, only 3 miles from the fishing village and stunning beaches of Aberporth and 5 minute drive from the historic town of Cardigan.
Cryngae Mawr Farm was founded in the 1820s to make use of the natural spring to power a mill and dairy. Its sits in a sheltered spot with stunning views across the countryside and lots of nooks and crannys to explore. The Coach House itself is a traditional stone building with walls over 2ft which was originally used to store the farm coaches and run the mill workings. It has recently been converted to a high standard providing a mezzanine bedroom, ensuite luxury bathroom with power rain shower and a large open plan kitchen and lounge with large double sofa bed. The Coach House has a private garden to front but also has a sunny open garden area to the rear leading to the woods and streams beyond.
The Cardigan Bay area was voted by lonely planet as best place to be in the world right now, its absolutely stunning with cliff walks, sandy bays, pristine national trust beaches and small fishing villages with local pubs and restaurants. Cardigan town is a short drive away and has an abundance of local shops, artisan bakers, pizza makers and award winning restaurants. The area is famed for outdoor pursuits such as coasteering, surfing, sea kayaking, sailing, mountain biking and walking; its known as the best location in the UK to spot dolphins, puffins and rare wildlife.
  • The Coach House is the perfect place to stay when exploring this part of Wales. When we arrived the cottage was warm and cozy, and Shaun had left Welsh cakes and drinks which got us off to to good start. The cottage is impeccably kept, and  located in beautiful countryside. Close to many beautiful beaches - we particularly enjoyed Popitt Sands, Porthgain and Aberport and .Supermarkets, cafes and restaurants can all be found in nearby Cardigan. For breakfast we loved Crwst in Cardigan, and delicious fresh ice cream from Pointz Castle near Solva. We had a great time, highly recommended. We'll be back. Thanks!

  • A lovely cottage in a great location, a short drive from the beautiful beach in Aberporth. Shaun was very hospitable and the property had everything we needed. It was also excellent value for money.

    Charlotte2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • A rustic farm arrival to be surprised by a modern converted coach house with all modern cons. Warm, cosy, very comfortable bed and pillows and lovely hot shower. Everything one could want for a wonderful stay. Finding the place can be a little worrying, but after following Shaun's directions we found the place easily. Had a small hassle getting onto wifi, but once logged in it worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

  • The Stables were a perfect choice for the 3 of us and our little dog. The location is breathtaking. The farm is just a peaceful, lovely and astounding place to be. The cottage was sprawling and big. We loved the vibe of it and never wanted to leave and left with wonderful memories we shall cherish forever. The kitchen was awesome and had everything you needed to cook your own meals if you got your grocery. Loved the personal welcome touches that was left for us!!! Its truly been one of the most extraordinary places we have lived in. The weather was crazy this time of the year but we just loved being indoors more and enjoying ourselves and had a great time going outdoors as we could. Its just a few mins away from the beach and some wonderful places around the coast lines. We are surely looking forward to our visits in the warmer months and be there again. Thanks to lovely Shaun who was around and gave us wonderful tips and infos. Our little fur baby loved it so much as well! We do highly suggest this place for a proper Welsh farm cottage living experience that you dont wanna miss !!!

Bed and Breakfast at our farmhouse that is almost 200 years old. We are in a quiet spot yet nestled between Aberporth on the coast and Cardigan with all the amenities. A great location for walking the coastal path or visiting some of the best beaches in West Wales.
The house is on a quiet 8 acre small holding near the beautiful coastline of West Wales. 3 miles to Cardigan and about a 40 minute drive to the Ferry to Ireland at Fishguard. Cardigan has a Aldi and a Tesco. A few miles to 6 beautiful sand beaches, two that are National Trust. Our local beach is Mwnt, listed as No. 1 in the Daily Mail's list in the Top Ten: Europe's Secret Beaches. You can easily walk to the Ceredigion Coastal Path. There is a small bedroom with 2 single beds, another small one with a double bed, and a larger one with a King Size bed. Two bathrooms (one for exclusive use by guests) and a shower in an outbuilding if you hate baths and want an invigorating experience. We have our own eggs if you like a big breakfast. It is a 15 minute walk to the local bus stops if you are using public transport. In the summer and selected days in the winter there is the Cardi Bach, a small bus that serves the Coastal Path so you only need to walk one way. The Cardi Bach bus stop in Felinwynt is close to our drive. Closest train stations are Carmarthen or Aberystwyth. If you come by bus, happy to pick you up in Cardigan. If you like to cycle, we are on a bike route and plenty of space in the barn to store yourvbike. Plenty of good places to eat nearby and if you are on a tight budget you can cook in the kitchen. If the dates you want are booked, contact us we may have another bedroom available. One of the most popular trips in Cardigan is a boat trip called Bay to Remember-On most trips you will see dolphins, seals and plenty of bird life.
We live in a rural location although there is a convenience shop 2 miles away. You can walk to the coastal path from our house. We live down a drive off a quiet road. It is a quiet location.
  • Fantastic location, beautiful house, lovely people. Will definitely return.

  • Brilliant hospitality from start to finish and the room was excellent. I liked spending time in the cosy kitchen, reading and having a mug of coffee from the new coffee machine. We cooked ourselves a lovely breakfast - they supply the food and you supply the labour. Loved the experience from start to finish, also check out Alex and Renie's holiday let which is superb. We will be back! Andy & Suzi x

  • Alex and Renie provide very clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfasts are great and they are very willing to help with information about the local sights to see. The only difficulty we experienced is finding the country site, but Alex is very willing to share good directions for finding the Stone Farmhouse. You will have a good experience if you choose to stay.

  • The Dairy was a fabulous stay. Perfect location for exploring the gorgeous Welsh coastline. The cottage was sparkling clean and super warm with all the bits and pieces you need for a self catering stay. The beds were comfy and bathrooms clean with plenty of hot water. The instructions for arrival and the cottage were perfect everything you need to know and all very clear. Definitely do not listen to the sat nav and do follow Shaun’s instructions. There was milk in the fridge and tea and coffee ready to go, perfect after a long drive. Shaun was the perfect host. On hand in an instant to answer any questions but given us plenty of privacy and the cottage space to ourselves. We would most certainly come back here and use as a base to explore the rest of South Wales and the coast.

    Jo2020-01-20T00:00:00Z

  • What a wonderful little place! Emma and her husband really have gone above and beyond with small, important touches that a lot of other hosts don't do. I wish all Airbnb hosts were like Emma. Thanks for a great stay!

    Luke2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We have just been to stay at Emma's place and it was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish the stay was perfect, we only stayed for the one night but instantly regretted it when we arrived, we should have definitely booked longer. The room was sparkling and homely. Tea and coffee provided on arrival and the tv has netflix, youtube and other apps. Sitting in the hot tub with my partner at 8pm with a glass of gin looking at the stars was priceless, so relaxing! Emma's home and gardens are beautiful, picturesque and peaceful. Added bonus of breakfast was such a lovely touch. Thank you so much for being the best host! We're going to tell all our friends about this trip.

    Jasmyne2020-03-07T00:00:00Z

The space itself is sparkling clean, and the hot tub is an amazing bonus. Lovely way to switch off and relax! Would 100% recommend staying here and we will be returning if in the area in the future. Thank you Emma!

Our cottage is a charming seaside stone cottage, just a minute's walk from the glorious beach of Llangrannog on the West Wales coast and the amazing Ceredigion coastal path. Llangrannog has a sheltered sandy beach known as 'Traeth y Pentref' (the village beach) with its restaurants and two pubs - you can park up and never take it out again! The beach is literally 100 yards from the beach! Drop us a message with any questions you may have... We'd love you to stay!

  • Everything about our break at Charlie's lovely house was just what we expected and hoped for. We were very happy to meet Charlie & Spot on arrival, the house was wonderfully cosy, the open fire great and over the 3 days we really enjoyed the space, the lovely kitchen with big table, lovely bedroom with the sea sounding in the background and great bathroom. The coastal walks from the cottage were absolutely beautiful and the beach only moments from the house made the break even better. A really wonderful time.

  • A fabulous, cosy cottage with a perfect space for a family of four and one spaniel, within a (literal) stone’s throw of the beach. Snug wood-burner-warmed downstairs & very comfortable beds.

Y Caban Pren is located within a six acre property about three miles from Cardigan. It is set in a stunning landscape with far-reaching views. The accommodation is self-contained, and is constructed to a very high standard, with thick insulation, electric heating and double glazing to all rooms. Much of the hot water is solar heated. It is comfortably fitted out with neutral colours, and the kitchen area is well equipped, with fridge. Outside, there is a decking area with table and chairs.
Y Caban Pren is situated within the grounds of a beautiful and peaceful six acre property called Waun Lle. There are panoramic views across to the Preseli Hills and around to Cardigan Bay. It is an ideal location for a quiet and relaxing break, away from it all but with easy driving access to Cardigan and the coast.
The property is about three miles from Cardigan, and is situated just off a lane which adjoins the A487, giving easy access north towards Aberystwyth and south to Cardigan and onwards into Pembrokeshire. Cardigan is a vibrant small town with two supermarkets and a good range of independent shops and eating places. Access is easy to many beautiful beaches, with Mwnt being the nearest.
  • We highly recommend Melanie's place. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Cozy and roomy. Perfect for a few days away. Close to some idyllic beaches at Mwnt, Aberporth and Tresaith. Just a few minutes away from Cardigan, with a large supermarket and local shops etc.

  • Ty Haf is in a lovely tranquil setting, it’s cosy and clean with added benefit of friendly cat and chickens. Plenty of beaches and places of interest within a short drive. Thanks Helen, we had a great stay.

    Beth2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Helen’s cabin is a lovely space, cosy yet you have plenty of space. Her photos are very close to the feel of it. Really enjoying our stay - she was friendly and helpful but also left us to our own devices with enough privacy and the company of chickens and cats which visited in the mornings. Very quiet and leafy area with next to no traffic yet close enough to some great beaches and the lovely coastal town of New Quay. Thanks Helen, a lovely stay and great value.

    Mike2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely spot, so quiet and idyllic. Enjoyed our staff at Ty Haf. Helen communicated quickly and accurately, everything went well. The ‘summer house’ is perfect if you want to get away from it all.

    Barry2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying at this beautiful cabin! Very quiet and peaceful location perfect to relax, super comfy beds and the cutest cats!

    Sarah2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay in the summer house. The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable. Traveling with a 3 year old, the bed arrangements were perfect too. We were impressed with how spacious it felt in the home and how powerful the shower was! Helen was a great host - as were Sidney and Buttons the cats who or little girl enjoyed meeting. A beautiful area. We enjoyed evenings in New Quay, beach at Penbryn and Llangranog - both beautiful, and a lovely picnic in the grounds of nearby Sculptureheaven. Would definitely recommend.

*CLOSED* The Cwtch At Caerwedros is situated in a tiny rural village between the popular beaches of Llangrannog and New Quay, just 2 miles from the smugglers' cove of Cwmtydu. The Cwtch is equally suitable for couples looking for a romantic bolthole or the single traveller looking for a cosy space of their own. Walk straight from the door through wooded valleys to the coastal path, then warm your toes in front of the woodburner and sink into the super cosy bed upon your return. Dogs welcome!
The Cwtch is a simple cosy base for walkers, cyclists or anyone who wants to investigate the amazing Ceredigion coastline. My favourite translation of the uniquely Welsh word "Cwtch" is "A warm affectionate hug, cuddle or snuggle that gives a feeling of a safe place or home". This is what The Cwtch offers - whatever the weather! You'll find a comfy Victorian iron & brass double bed, crisp white bed linen, upcycled vintage furniture, a romantic woodburning stove, plus facilities for making tea & toast, a microwave for heating food and a small fridge/freezer. There is an en-suite shower, loo and hand basin with hot and cold running water. Logs and kindling is provided for every night booked; more can be bought locally as you require. Initial milk, tea, coffee and sugar are provided for your use. Bed linen supplied (high quality white cotton, feather duvet), 1 bath towel provided per guest, plus hand towel and tea towel. Please bring your own beach towels. Well-behaved pets are welcome; we have young cats who do not appreciate being chased :)
Caerwedros is a tiny rural village near to the historic smugglers' cove at Cwmtydu, where seals give birth to their pups in the autumn. Walk to the heritage coast via the numerous footpaths, or visit local coastal villages New Quay, Llangrannog, Tresaith and Aberporth. About 40 mins drive from Aberystwyth and Carmarthen, about 25 mins drive from Cardigan. We are close enough to the many fantastic beaches for guests to easily enjoy swimming, surfing or simply feeling the sand under your toes, yet not in one of the bustling beach villages which can get very busy during the high season. We are close to the sea and coastal path (less than 2 miles), with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. There is a wide range of local wildlife including seals and dolphins (seals pup on local beaches in the Autumn), so don't forget your binoculars! The cafe at Cwmtydu does a great bacon roll for elevensies to get you fuelled up for the day, but check with us that it is open outside the holiday seasons. Walkers can see all of the beautiful Ceredigion coastline, as we are perfectly placed midway on the sweep of Cardigan Bay. Amazing views right up to the Llyn Peninsula, and South to Cardigan Island. We are just a short drive from the stunning beaches of Tresaith, Mwnt, Aberporth and Poppit Sands. Clear, dark skies allow you to enjoy stargazing with no local light pollution - we regularly see the Milky Way. Fantastic walking, kayaking, surfing and mountain biking are all on our doorstep. If you are a National Trust member remember to bring your membership card to enable free parking at Penbryn and Mwnt beaches. The kayaking and slalom centre at Llandysul is a 20 minute drive away. Our local pub is just a 20 minute stroll from The Cwtch, and there is a wide choice of places to eat locally including traditional breakfasts, brunches, fish and chips, ice creams and coffee on the beach at Llangrannog and New Quay. Alternatively try pub grub at many of the numerous places we can recommend, many of which are dog friendly. Good restaurants are also plentiful. Local shops are a short drive away for any essential items. Browse the antique, craft and coffee shops in the friendly little town of Newcastle Emlyn, about 20 minutes drive from us, or visit the University town of Aberystwyth for the day for a large selection of independent and high street shops. Get a feel for everything going on around us at TheCwtchAtCaerwedros.
  • Wonderful two nights getting away from it all, wondering around the nearby costal towns. Completely fell in love with the area and had such a lovely time at the Cwtch! Thank you for having us

    Jodie2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cottage in the perfect location. Beautiful countryside surroundings and only a short drive to some stunning beaches. Everything you need is there from logs to light the fire when you arrive to cereal and fresh bread for breakfast in the morning. If we’re ever coming back to the area we will look to stay here again.

    Lucy2019-05-26T00:00:00Z

  • my partner and I had a really great time staying at Sarah's tiny house. the entire house was sparkling clean, the bed was comfortable and with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. they even provided breakfast items such as milk, yoghurt, jams, homemade bread and cakes! we were also very pleased to notice that everything was plastic free :D they even provided a folder with all the useful information, from local walks to menus of local pubs and restaurants and much more. a final great touch were the bird feeders in the garden just outside our front door, which allowed us to spot blue tits, sparrows and other birds. we could not have had a better time!

    Anny2019-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay. Small but perfectly formed place to stay. Lots of nice touches and a lovely part of the world. Communication from the host was excellent. Thank you!

  • This was perfect for our first trip away with our young dog. Close to dog friendly beaches with lots of walks and Sarah and Justin were lovely and welcoming. Great value for money and would definitely stay again.

  • Would highly recommend The Cwtch, we felt we were the first to stay there as everything was so clean and in tip-top condition. We arrived in pouring rain, but the easy to light wood burner soon warmed us up and the fairy lights set the cosy ambience in this gorgeous country garden setting. We felt very welcome by the delicious homemade treats, which we greatly appreciated. The next few days were sunny and bright, we loved waking up to see the garden birds on the feeders just outside the door and were placed perfectly to explore the area: Kim Stoddart's 'Green Rocket' gardening courses just down the road at her smallholding, enjoyed the scenic sea view road trip up to The Centre for Alternative Technology, delicious pizza overlooking the sea at Penlon Brewery in New Quay and finally Kenfig Nature Reserve for a beautiful walk by the sea, amongst the skylarks on our way home.

5 miles from the west coast of Wales with its lovely sandy beaches, Porth Fach is in the heart of Brongest village/hamlet surrounded by beautiful countryside. Formerly a barn, then post office, the property has been recently converted into a stylish and comfortable single story stone cottage.
The cottage was originally a barn. Many of the homes in the village are converted farm building as Brongest was and is a strong farming community. The cottage comprises of a kitchen, a toilet and separate shower room as well as the living and dining room area and bedroom. There is extra sleeping accommodation in the form of a sofa-bed (1.2m wide). The south facing private garden has a parking space to the side and the cottage has its own private entrance. We are dog lovers and welcome 1 well behaved dog, but please be aware that our hens have a run connected to the garden of the cottage.
We are perfectly positions to enjoy the beautiful Welsh countryside and there are delightful woodland walks on the doorstep. Quiet and activity beaches, dolphin watching and coastal path walking are all close by. The National Trust beach, Penbryn is our closest beach where you can also enjoy an ice cream or lunch at the Plwmp Tart beach cafe. Newcastle Emlyn is only 4 miles away and has a variety of shops and supermarkets as well as the castle ruins, theatre and leisure centre with swimming pool. We recommend the Riverside cafe for its excellent vegetarian and vegan menu. The lovely historic town of Aberteifi (Cardigan) is only 9 miles away.
  • Porth Fach is a outstanding property. Fantastic accommodation. Decor and attention to detail to our taste. Very comfortable and peaceful location. Excellent value for money. Wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend. A beautiful area with lots of fantastic coastline to visit nearby.

  • A wonderful spot with a wonderful host. Barbara and Steve ( and Ted the black lab) went out of their way to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Great views from the house. Tresaith is a fantastic beach and their is a fab path down from the house. It is also really easy to explore further afield into Cardigan and over to Poppit Sands. Top tips from Barbara and Steve meant we always had a great time! We loved it.

  • Barbara and Steve were great, delightful and very gracious and accommodating hosts. They are situated in a beautiful rural coastal area which was easy to find with their directions and our granddaughters knowledge of her iPhone travel instructions. They greeted us and showed us to our upstairs private quarters, after which we sat down to a cup of tea and an intro type visit. Steve and Barbara gave us information on dining choices and we were happy with our choice for dinner at the pub on the corner of their road, and yes, very close indeed. Steve also told us about nearby points of interest. In the morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast and we absolutely fell in love with Barbara’s homemade jelly. They were also sensitive to my husbands dietary needs. They also remembered that our grand daughter was celebrating her birthday on the day of our departure so she was gifted a birthday greeting card. We enjoyed our stay with Barbara, Steve and sweet Ted to pet. We thank them all.

  • Wonderful hosts. Special touches.

  • Barbara's home is warm and welcoming. It sits atop a hill in the Welsh countryside, offering beautiful views of rolling fields and the ocean. Our room was sparking clean. I would definitely book again!

    Michelle2018-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Very welcoming and a lovely room with en suite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. We enjoyed their company very much - and Barbara very kindly made us supper too (having turned up on a Sunday with pubs not serving food) - and it was a fabulous supper too; much better than the pub would have been! Lovely walk from the B&B back to the coast too. Many thanks

  • Stayed one night at Barbara's. Had a lovely time as was made to feel really at home. Breakfast was lovely and home made jam was a treat. Thank.s Hope to visit again soon.

Trecregyn North is an early C18 farmhouse situated in a quiet location two miles from the lovely beach at Llangrannog. Ceredigion has some amazing beaches, most with lifeguards in the main summer months and some lovely countryside to walk. There is a footpath from the farmhouse to the spectacular Ceredigion Coastal path - approximately 1/2 mile. Llangrannog has two pubs and two other eating places - one is an amazing ice cream parlour.
The house has some original features - inside shutters on downstairs windows, slate floor in the hall and good solid old entrance door. Thick stone walls keeping it cool in the hot weather and warm in the winter. Fireplace in breakfast room for when it is very cold although there is central heating and convector heater in there as well.
Llangrannog is an old fishing and boat building village with lovely cottages tucked in the valley sloping up from the seashore. The two pubs are open all the year and serve excellent meals. West Wales has many talented artists and therefore good art galleries in the area. The Welsh Woollen Museum is within easy reach as are other working woollen mills.
  • It was a treat to stay in Elisabeth’s house, we enjoyed experiencing a genuine old farm house. Elisabeth gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home, and she supplied a great breakfast. We will remember this stay fondly. I thoroughly recommend this stay.

Bed and breakfast at our farmhouse is over 200 years old.
Cardigan has a Aldi, a Tesco, and Co-op supermarket A few miles to 6 beautiful sand beaches, two that are National Trust. If we are able, we will cook you breakfast or we will supply the breakfast goodies and you can prepare your own breakfast at a time that suits you.
You can walk to the coastal path from our house though it is easier to drive to the access path by the national Trust Waterwheel.
  • The stat with Alex and Renie was amazing, they were very friendly and easy going, room was very clean, and they made you feel at home. The breakfast They provided was huge with lots of choice. Thank you for everything

  • A fabulous place to stay with Alex and Renie being such welcoming and kind hosts. Alex made the most beautiful American waffles for breakfast. The Farmhouse is beautiful, clean and felt so warm and inviting. • Idylic old hidden away farmhouse setting in a beautiful part of Wales. Quiet and relaxed with that air of traquility. Far enough from everything but not too far away to be inconvenient. Beach, shops and restaurants all 10mins away. An amaxing place to stay.

    Stephen2019-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Alex and Renie are wonderful hosts, they made me feel completely at home. The farmhouse is just as described, nestled in the countryside but driving distance to a good sized town. It was clean and comfortable and the breakfast provided was excellent. I would definitely recommend this amazing value stay. And don't miss out on dinner at El Salsa!

    Kerry2019-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Close proximity to Cardigan, shops, beaches, coastal path and not far to drive to other parts of Wales. Alex and Renie are very friendly and helpful hosts and welcome you into their home and have plenty of helpful advice of places to visit in the area. Fresh eggs for breakfast; comfortable beds; lovely areas around the house to relax; parking close by; great views. We really enjoyed our 5 days here and loved coming back at the end of our day’s exploring. Would recommend Alex & Renie’s Airbnb to anyone who wanted a home away from home.

  • Took us a while to find it at first and wasnt quite sure where to park (we should have taken a better look at the handwritten map). Such a beautiful cottage, spacious and modern with a touch of authenticity. Spotlessly clean. With the extra touch of welsh cakes waiting for us. The heating was on making it lovely and cosy. Perfectly located for travel around west wales . A lovely short stroll into Llanganog cove. We went out of season so it was lovely to almost have the place to ourselves. Would highly recommend this cottage.

  • We were blessed to stay at this gorgeous cottage over Christmas. It's just SO beautiful! - the accommodation, the village of Llangrannog and surrounding areas, the people, the pubs, the coves and beaches.. EVERYTHING was just perfect. The hosts were friendly and informative and quick to answer any questions - We loved it so much we stayed an extra night! Thanks again Ben & Barbara, we wish you every happiness and success!

    Shiraz2018-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was perfect for us, We immediately felt at home and there were treats waiting for us (welsh pancakes- delicious)The neighborhood/ town is absolutely beautiful. Ben and Barbara work quick to respond with any problems and then stopped by to make sure everything was resolved (We had a very brief issue getting the heat on that was swiftly addressed). Everything was just great. We are already talking about returning. Recommended with a small Note for those who need absolute silence: (this in no way changes what I consider a marvelous stay)I only add this for others who may mind. This is an old house and creaks and clicks when the heat kicks on. We found it charming. I have no hesitation 100% recommending this property

    Brian2018-11-19T00:00:00Z

The place is very well put together and beautifully styled. Loved the cute touches such as the handmade soap bar and it's well stocked with other environmentally friendly products. There is a handy utility outhouse with washing machine and dryer and anything else you might need. • This Cottage is a wonderful place to stay if you like a bit of peace and quiet yet only minutes from the beaches. The property is well equipped and the hosts Paul and Penny make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. There is plenty of outside space for children to play in and lots of wildlife to see.

    Greg2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • What great hosts we had! We had a good showing around and given lots of information on things to do. The house was beautiful and the surroundings were stunning. The pictures on Airbnb don’t do the place justice, we really got the wow factor on arrival. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home, we haven’t laughed so much. Our first family holiday with my parents in 17 years and it was more than we could ever of imagined.

    Alix2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful and quaint cottage in a lovely quiet location. Plenty of living space and very well equipped. Paul and Penny greeted us on arrival and provided us with a comprehensive tour of the accommodation and explained how to operate the range, heating and other equipment. Paul also gave us some information about local attractions and walks. Paul checked in with us the following day to make sure everything was alright. Super 4 night break - we were 6 adults and a cocker spaniel. Everything was as described on Airbnb, therefore no suggestions. Go there- you’ll not regret it!

  • We spent a gorgeous Easter Bank Holiday weekend at Bronant Cottage! Paul and Penny are outstanding hosts and the cottage is ideally situated for exploring Ceredigion. Cosy, comfortable and quiet, this was a proper retreat and a real home from home! Thank-you!

A cosy space with hand crafted rustic wooden beamed ceiling and log burning stove, situated in the quiet countryside but very near the coast. Aberporth beach is approx 15 minutes drive. The land here is pesticide and herbicide free and we therefore have an abundance of wild flowers growing in the hedgerow. Red kites and barn owls are often seen and tawny owls nest in the woodland. The night sky is amazing and you are welcome to build a fire outside to sit and gaze at the stars.
The Stone Barn has a cosy living room with a log burning stove, a bathroom with shower over bath, a double bedroom with wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Up a small wooden staircase is a small sleeping with limited headroom. Suitable for small children who might like to share a comfy futon bed. Downstairs there is a small very compact but practical kitchen which contains a cooker, hob, microwave and washing machine.
We are in the countryside but very near to the main Aberystwyth to Cardigan coast road from which the stunning coastline is easily accessible. Our nearest beach is Aberporth,
  • Perfect, little place in the Welsh countryside. Great location to feel away from it all but close enough to towns and the coast.

    Edward2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great little cosy barn in a rural location yet close to local attractions.

    Nick2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint property in quiet rural surroundings. Lots of hens, geese etc around the place. Accommodation had all that was needed. Xochi and Kelvin are excellent hosts.

    David2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time in the barn, it was really cosy and we loved the massive burner! The selection of pillows was especially appreciated, as I suffer from a bad neck, but this was avoided due to good quality pillows :) Thank you for a great relaxing stay :) Both hosts were really friendly and helpful :)

  • This was a fantastic little find and made our few days away absolutely perfect. The cottage is amazingly located between several different locations and isn't far from a local shop. The cottage itself was well kitted and very cosy. Perfect base for daily trips out. Great host and very welcoming all round. Especially the owners pets who made it very memorable. Well worth a visit.

  • Sarah's place is exactly what it looks like. A lovely spot, great breakfast, beautifully decorated and with lots of helpful tips and walks to do. Definitely worth staying here. We'd recommend calling ahead to the local pub to check they are doing food as we walked there in a howling gale to find out they weren't doing food that evening!

A brand new eco house with hot tub, perched quite dramatically in the trees, above a stream, just 2 miles from Newquay and half a mile from Cei Bach Beach. It offers a relaxing retreat from the bustle of Newquay yet is in walking distance (by beach when the tide is out, or by road) or a short car ride (approx 5 minutes) or bus journey away. The Wales Coastal Path is a short walk from the house. 2 bedrooms (double + twin) + sofa bed in lounge . 2 bathrooms. Free Wifi. Parking for 2 cars.
  • A lovely setting with birdsong and a babbling stream. Such a lovely house to return to after a day off exploring

    Gareth2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Currently en route home after a fantastic weekend. Loved everything about the house and location. Despite the weather we thoroughly enjoyed hours in the hot tub, walks into New Quay, Cai Beach and exploring Devils Bridge. A must visit if you stay with Michael. On our last evening unfortunately we had a temporary self inflicted power cut however Michael was quick to respond to our message all being very late in the evening. We would highly recommend staying! Christina & Alex

  • This is an incredible place to stay, both indoors and outdoors. It has been designed brilliantly. Despite being February, we always felt warm and cozy, even without the underfloor heating on. The showers were fabulous and had an abundance of hot water. Kitchen well equipped and well thought out. The hot tub was fantastic and we used it every night under the stars. The location is great too and only 5 minutes from New Quay and about 15 minute walk with two children to the coast.

    Rach2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • You must book this, it does not dissapoint. The whole house is beautiful, outside is a beautiful stream along with the hot tub. Perfect to relax after walking , great location not far too get to where you want to go. A place to re visit.

  • We had a lovely time in Michaels house. It was very clean, had everything we needed and was a good space for afew days away. The outside space is the cherry on the cake, secluded & peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub and I can imagine in the summer (we went January) you could spend all day on the terrace by the stream. Michael was super quick to respond to a query I sent and the house had lots of info on local things to do. We loved the eco friendly aspects of the house too and enjoyed looked through the book of how the property was built. If we ever return to the area we would re-book Michaels house without a doubt

Carew is a cosy converted Welsh clom house on our small farm just two miles from Llangrannog with its two pubs, two restaurants and three beaches. We would describe it as an affordable and very homely small cottage which consistently achieves a 4 star rating from Visit Wales. Guests are very welcome to wander the farm and watch any of the farming activities that occur during the year. We make our own cider in the autumn, usually late October.
Carew is a one bedroom cottage sleeping two in a double bed. The large fitted wardrobes provide ample storage space. There is a shower room with wash basin and toilet. Hairdryer provided. The cosy open plan living room/kitchen has a comfortable seating area with leather suite and dining table for 2 and a wood burning stove (first basket of logs included), TV, DVD player and music centre. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, washer dryer, fridge, microwave and breakfast bar. With its log burner and full central heating, Carew is a cosy cottage in all seasons. It offers superb accommodation with high quality furnishings, appliances and overall finish.
At Carew, you are within 15 minutes drive of the beaches at Penbryn, Cwm Tydu, Tresaith and Aberporth. Superb fishing and boating can be enjoyed locally and walking is a particularly pleasant pastime along the numerous trails of the Cardigan Bay heritage coastline, now part of the Wales Coast Path. An award winning farm shop, nine hole golf course and a dry ski slope are all within 5 miles of Penlon.
