Gill's place is great! It's in a very nice little village right by Ruthin and is very clean and comfortable. Gill herself is a very gracious and communicative host. She is also deeply knowledgeable about the local area and is very happy to share her knowledge and tips for what to see. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely host and fabulous location, just stayed the one night as I was travelling for work but would definitely stay longer if I could!

Her place was a little tricky to find but she’d told one of the other guests to look out for a guy on a motorcycle and they actually drove back down the hill suspecting I was lost and helped me find the place. Just the most lovely host with a beautiful home. I got the presidential suite upgrade to the king sized room and felt like a queen! Gillian has so many tips on places to see locally as she is a historian. Make sure to stay several days in order to see everything!

Gillian is very helpful and accommodating. A lovely experience and would highly recommend asking her for anything relating to your visit. My dog was also welcome when I asked about him staying in advance.

I loved my stay, the location is stunning, absolutely beautiful. The accommodation is perfect, with a stylish lounge to relax in, and the host is really warm and thoughtful. Definitely will be staying again!

A gorgeous location , a cute & clean house which feels cosy & inviting with an amazing hot tub ! Was easy check in and out process, host were attentive with any problems . Great place for a romantic getaway .

We had a wonderful stay - ideal for couples. The hot tub was fantastic and very private. Great fun taking a dip in the tub after dark on a cold February night! The annex was very comfortable, and it was in a perfect location for local walks around Moel Famau and down the canal at Llangollen to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Log burner and Netflix provided plenty of entertainment in the evenings too. I would certainly recommend!

Lovely spot for the weekend. We had a great stay here - nice and roomy, clean and beautiful views (even despite the rain!). Which we could have stayed longer!

What a beautiful weekend we had the house is so cosy with the log fire especially if you don’t want to go out you can sit in front of fire playing board games and also having the hot tub out in the Open was the icing on the cake !! Hannah the host was easy communicate with and very helpful!! Will definitely be back soon x

Place was great, really clean and tidy. Ideally located in the centre of Mold and the communication with the host was quick and easy. Very accommodating, having little things like milk and tea bags in there was really appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place in a fantastic location

The flat had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's conveniently located, lots of shops within a short walking distance. The kitchen is fully equipped and there's tea, coffee and milk on arrival (very common with AirBnB stays, but not guaranteed, so a nice thoughtful touch). The whole process of communication, arriving and leaving was smooth. We'd definitely stay again. (For those sharing the apartment with others, it might be useful to know that the only bathroom/toilet is in the only bedroom.)

Warm and spotlessly clean apartment in the centre of Mold with all amenities yet in a quiet cul de sac with parking to get a good nights sleep. Highly recommended.

Second time staying at this place, perfect as a place to stop over for a few nights, has everything you could need and perfectly in the centre of Mold with parking.

Amazing location - beautiful and peaceful Welsh countryside amidst a working farm. The annex itself was lovely - cosy, exceptionally clean, nice homely touches, had everything we needed and the hosts even provided us with some fresh daffodils, milk and some Welsh cakes on arrival. Richard and Ceri were exceptional hosts, always in touch when needed, friendly and made us feel so welcome. We loved our two night stay but just wish it was for longer! Feeling relaxed and refreshed. We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future!

This place is a hidden gem, we really loved the set up, lay out, cleanliness and extra touches on arrival, Richard and Ceri were really quick with communication and very approachable. I stay at this little house on a regular basis as I travel to Mold to visit family. The house is always sparkling clean, warm and welcoming with everything that I need. There is always information on display about whats on locally and the house its-self is well located, close to public transport links and also main routes into Wales, Cheshire and onto the Wirral. I can highly recommend Janes wee house for a business stop over or as a base for exploring this beautiful part of the world. Tanya

We visited this place to visit friends in mold. Really convenient place to stay with it being a 5 minute walk from tje centre of Mold. The house is lovely and very clean. Would definitely recommend and when we visit again we will book this place. Thank you!

A comfortable and convenient house, central to town. Very quiet and private dwelling at end of cul-de-sac. In easy reach of stores and a pub. Plenty of bedding and kitchen utensils. Jane is an excellent host and made sure we were settled for our trip.

A well-situated and well-equipped house in a nice, quiet estate, that is perfectly located for shopping, the local market and the superstores. There is a local theatre nearby that you can walk to in about 20-30 minutes. The nearest pub is staggering distance close and noted for excellent food, but It is so quiet you wouldn’t know it was there.

We had a wonderful stay at Jacqueline's accommodation, it was amazingly clean and comfortable and she was very accommodating with our arrival. The Welsh cakes went down a treat and we really enjoyed staying the the area - a brilliant host and lovely place to stay would highly recommend!

What a great place. High quality, really comfy, great host and would definitely recommend. We only had one night spare which still gave time for a local riverside walk, a visit to the pub and a relaxing evening watching a film. Will definitely come back.

We really loved our stay here. There were so many thoughtful touches and we especially loved sitting out on the decking, despite it being a bit chilly. We had great stay at Chris and Mike's place. The room within the house was generously sized with a great comfy bed and stylish bathroom that had a brilliant shower. The location itself was perfect for us, literally being across the road from Moel Famau for a great hike up to see the Jubilee Tower. Mold, Ruthin and Llangollen are also very close car journeys away. Chris and Mike were lovely to deal with and were happy to help in any way they could. We'd high recommend staying at their place and will consider It again if we are ever in the area again.

Lovely hosts and location

This place couldn't be better placed for the walkers/ hikers/ runners among you. It is very secluded & quiet. An 8 mile round trip to the nearest town so bear that in mind. The interior is finished to a high standard - the bathroom, especially. Fantastic value for money

A small but tidy space. Double bed and enough space for my toddler to sleep in a cot (provided by the hosts) at the foot of the bed. Small private kitchen and a bathroom, ideal for the one-bight stay I had there recently. Highly recommended.

Amazing space and lovely views. So comfy too, could not want for anything either, with a fully stocked up kitchen of cooking supplies. I will definitely stay again if i visit the area again in the future.

A lovely, peaceful stay. Helen was very helpful throughout our stay and the cottage was beautiful and clean. There isn't really anything within walking distance from the cottage but Mold is only a short drive away and has some good pubs and restraunts. There is also lots of great walking spots nearby. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in Helen's cottage. The space is beautiful (inside and out) with incredible views of the countryside - I especially loved watching the sun set across the fields. Inside, the place is stylish, decorated beautifully, with wonderful touches like a few breakfast items, a welcome book full of house instructions and many leaflets for things to do in the area. We cooked in the house for two nights and found everything we needed was available. The bed was SO comfy! Helen and her husband were very responsive to messages and it was lovely to meet them both. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay there again in the future.

We stayed 5 nights and didn’t want to leave... Beautiful cottage with lovely hosts, everything you would need for short or longer stays. Kitchen is fully equipped ( We appreciated the milk in the fridge !). Helen was there if needed but otherwise have us complete privacy. Mold town just a short drive away and has everything you would need - The Market is a must see for local produce. We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future, Thank you for a lovely time !

Myself and my friend have just returned from a long weekend at Gary’s place celebrating our 40th birthdays and we couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. Nothing was too much trouble for Gary, what a lovely gentleman. Friendly, helpful and unless we needed help with anything we were left in peace to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The apartment is fabulous; clean, cute and quirky, having 2 separate bathrooms was bliss and the hot tub is just amazing! Lovely and private. We both agreed that we could happily live there! Everything you need is provided with lots of extra touches to make the stay super comfortable. Can not praise it enough. We walked the dog around Ruthin which was lovely having a look at the quaint shops. There is a fabulous Fish & Chip shop a few minutes walk away. Thank you Gary and Carys, we will definitely be back.

This is a perfect little hide away and excellent for a quiet few days away to recharge. The balcony with hot tub is heaven with daily visits from a kingfisher and swans

Compact space, but with everything you need. Warm and snug. Lovely to look over the river and park - we saw a kingfisher from the kitchen window one morning! Fantastic host, fitted us in last minute as we had a family emergency, excellent communication.

Just returned from a five day break over the new year. Apartment lovely and clean and full of thoughtful touches. Had everything from towels to washing up liquid to dvds, board games and books. The apartment has a quirky layout, three beds in the first bedroom with on suite, then double bed in the lounge area. The balcony area is fantastic, plenty of seating areas under fairylights, and the hottub overlooking the lake full of ducks and swans. There's a good Indian and a handfull of pubs within walking distance which we visited. The area is easy to reach many of the fantastic walking routes nearby. Perfect place to unwind!

A great find in a wonderful location. The property was immaculately clean and the Christmas touches were hugely appreciated. Having never visited Ruthin before, we were pleased with choosing this property to stay in as the town is such a short walk away with some great amenities. The tranquility of the apartment is something else, honestly I don’t think we can put it into words. Gary is a fabulous and friendly host, nothing was too much trouble and the value for money is out of this world. Highly recommend this property - we stayed for a week and so pleased that we did!

Great place to stay including a hot tub . Fab setting and great place to stay . Clean,tidy ,nothing is to much trouble Gary gave out clear advice on the hot tub and helped with tv / sky . If you want peace this is the place but also lots to do in area . Loads of info leaflet in the hall way.

Gary and Carys' apartment is set within a fabulous location. Quiet, peaceful and private. The apartment has everything you need and the hot tub is a great touch! The town is quaint and beautiful. 10min walk from the apartment is Ruthin Castle, which offers a lovely afternoon tea service. Gary was warm and welcoming, the perfect host. We will definitely be visiting again!

What a brilliant place to stay! Absolutely adored our time here, the lodge is so cosy and relaxing that we cancelled our NYE plans and had a BBQ on the wooden fire outside and just chilled in the hot tub all night. So lovely and clean, great facilities. All you need to do is a little food shop and you’re set for your stay! Huw and his dad were so lovely, we didn’t realise the cabin was in front of their house but it is secluded and very private. You’re literally not disturbed unless you ask to see them and they are there as soon you ask. Brilliant service! The dogs were also very cute, they just come see you once to have a nosey and don’t really come around again so don’t be put off by that like we nearly were! 10/10 stay and experience. Really hoping I can convince someone to come visit with me again!

If your looking for a little bit of paradise then sunset cabin is just that. Relax and take in your beautiful surroundings. It is breath taking.

The sunset cabin was even more gorgeous than the photos. Me and my boyfriend went to escape for the weekend and we were definitely able to do that at the cabin! We loved the hot tub and the beautiful views! Michael and Helen were lovely and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend staying there.

The house is in a cosy hamlet where everyone are super friendly and makes you feel home! The room and the reserved bathroom are sparkled clean as well as the rest of the house. Dogs are lovely and quiet and Graham is really very helpful and attempt to any need or requirement you might have. I felt the warmth and the kindness I needed for my restoring weekend. The Sunn Inn pub next door serves great food and drinks...including some special selection in a cosy and friendly atmosphere..I wish I could move and live in a place like this immediately! Graham's place is in a charming little village. My room was very comfortable and Graham and his mum were very welcoming and allowed me to stay even though their family was about to arrive for the weekend. I appreciated being able to book in at short notice.

My girlfriend and I only stayed one night en-route home from Anglesey. Graham made us feel very welcome and said we were free to use the facilities. I had an extensive chat with Graham covering all kinds of topics. We had nice showers and enjoyed the breakfast and i would not hesitate in re-booking when i will look forward to explore the hills nearby.

It was a pleasure to stay in this nice, quite place. Gillian is such an amazing host, very communicative and welcoming. She definitely made us feel like at home. The room is very spacious with a very comfy bed and tea/coffee/chocolate available. Gillian provided us a generous breakfast in the morning. We definitely recommend this place!

I made a last minute decision to stop at Gillian’s and she got back to me immediately and waited up when I was stuck in traffic for 3 hours. She was a fabulous and could not do enough for me. I will be stopping here again!!!

Amazing, everything you need there, its so thought out. Little things like scary dvds, board games, blankets, milk, wine, logs, little things if you run out of things. We have a lovely stay here and loved all the thoughtful little touches! we had a lovely walk to the local pub for some tea and a few drinks! The hut is so cosy and lovely for a unique night away! Kye was really friendly and helpful! We got a little lost coming up but Kye was really responsive and even sent her daughters out to look for us, nothing major but maybe a little sign before the turning or an arrow could help for other visitors finding the beautiful hut! We have no complaints and would highly recommend to others! Thanks for a lovely stay :) x

Really not sure where to begin. This place is beautiful and the pictures just dont do it justice. From the off Kye was quick with communication and helped with every question posed. The shepherds hut is simply stunning. Beautifully decorated, with really thoughtful touches (prosecco, crisps, chocolate..) the place really is a home from home. There are so many positives, I could go on all day. But if you want a relaxed night away, in the wilderness, surrounded by a pit fire, this is the place to come. We will definitely be back, just for longer next time.

The shepherds hut is a wondferful space with plenty of amenties. There is a large outdoor space to use which comes with sitting and a fire pit. There is also a cavaran to use which has comfy seating, shower and cooker inside. If you are looking for a cosy, peaceful place to relax and unwind.. this is it! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back in the future!

Lovely, cozy cottage in a stunning location. Great walks nearby and Mold (with all the shops) is an easy drive away. The kitchen was well equipped and the extras left for us were hugely appreciated! Lots to do in the area and the hosts were lovely and super friendly.

Loved our stay! The place is even nicer than the photos. Jane included some extra touches that really made our stay over valentines weekend. Bottle of fizz, beers, fresh bread, cheese, ham, milk, butter, bottled water, apple juice. Fresh flowers. A rose and chocolates on the bed as a valentines treat. It really was lovely. Great selection of books for rainy (stormy) days . The bed is soooo comfy, and the shower is impossible to leave as it’s so good. We love this place and will be back in summer to make use of all the local walks and amazing views!

A lovely room just outside of Ruthin with a fantastic jacuzzi just next door. Anna was a superb host who was quick to reply to our queries and provide that little bit of local knowledge. The bed is huge and shower a perfect start to the day. If in the area we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

I booked this spot very last minute for me and my boyfriend (on the day!) for a night away and had a reply pretty much immediately. Anna gave lots of great tips for evening dining and lunch which was great! The room was warm and cosy as soon as we arrived with a modern/rustic vibe. Lots of nice little touches like a chocolate to have with a brew and the softest dressing gowns! We were greeted on arrival by the cutest pup who took us to our room... I hope he gets a treat! It was also nice to be able to use the sauna and whirl pool in the morning, nice and relaxing. Overall a lovely place to stay, romantic and secluded with lovely views. Would definitely recommend.

Very clean, host quick to respond and full of information and advice for the local area. Little touches like the heated floor is wonderful.My only advice is if on the curvier side bring your own dressing gown.

Anna’s place is lovely. Very clean and comfortable bed! The bathroom is very nice loved the walk in shower. The views from the bedroom are also lovey. We used the spa on both days of our stay and it was very relaxing after spending the days walking! We visited ‘on the hill’ restaurant for dinner and were blown away the food was amazing! I would recommend this place 100%.

Anna is a great host. We were celebrating our anniversary and she had left a note and some touches for us to make the stay extra special. The spa is in the next door building and has a lovely big jacuzzi pool and a sauna. Anna’s local knowledge is great and she was super helpful. G reat location but you do need a car - recommend the local Moel Famau walk and the Dinorben Arms in Bodfari. Our only wish for the room was that there was a sofa or some other space to relax in other than the bedroom and shower room (v luxurious though it is!) but overall, a lovely friendly stay and good value for money. Lovely air bnb in a beautiful location.

Lovely stay, I took my best friend for a night as her birthday present. It was super cute and clean, and the spa facilities were great - and we had them all to ourselves!

Our stay was great. Lovely, small but cosy room in beautiful settings. The bed is amazing and left us well rested! Nice touches such as dressing gowns and little chocolates to have with our coffee! Very easy to find and the communication with Anna prior and on arrival was exceptional!

100% recommend this place if you get the chance to go! The room itself is beautiful and clean - the decor is stunning and very homely. The room is warm, cosy and has all of the amenities you may need. The lighting is very romantic and the very large flat screen tv with netflix was a fab touch! The hosts are lovely, attended all of our needs and went above and beyond! Perfect place to stay if you want a relaxing break, the spa is peaceful and quiet. Great location only a 5 minute drive into the town with plenty of parking and some nice places to eat and a few shops. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be returning! Also, there are the most adorable doggos wondering around very friendly and cute. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay very much.

Had a lovely night here . The place was clean and there where lovely little touches in the room. Hot tub and sauna was really nice and relaxing. Great hosts, showed us around and the responses and communication was quick. Can't wait to come back. We reccomend going to Moel Famau if you stay here, nice walking spot. Also the white horse inn is nice for food or a drink .

Sian's place as everything you need for a break in the country side. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, shower was good and she had left towels for us to use and was easy to find with the direction Sian had given me. We were following Wales Rally GB and was in a perfect location, I would recommend this place and would use it again for following the rally next year.

The cottage is absolutely perfect. We found no faults what so ever. Evenings in the hot tub were amazing. Helen was the perfect host who went the extra mile as she knew we had just got married. We will definitely return later in the year!

A wonderful break! The cottage was beautiful, comfortable and clean - and we got a lovely welcome including a bottle of wine and some welsh cakes. The views from the hot tub are spectacular. Helen also went above and beyond to cater for our 9 month old baby supplying not only a travel cot and highchair but also appropriate toys, safety plugs in the sockets and crockery and cutlery for him. Superb!

Lovely cottage, cozy and good quality finishes made it feel very homely. We had a enthusiastic and funny welcome - a lovely ‘welcome’ selection - and friendly doggies to have a cuddle with. The hot tub was wonderful, when we weren’t it it there’s a great selection of board games and dvds to keep everyone entertained.

Stylish property with great character and located in a lovely village. Lots of great walks nearby. Great that the property is dog friendly and has lots of amenities for a comfortable visit. Kate and Simon were great hosts answering our questions quickly to make sure we maximised our stay.

The Cwtch is centrally located in the village, very handy for the excellent local pub and for walking paths up to the Clywdian Range. The cottage has been recently renovated to a high standard and has a number of lovely individual touches. We had a fantastic break and look forward to returning!

The Cwtch in Cilcain is a unique place to stay, a cosy well designed space, with all home comforts in a gorgeous little village near our favourite walking area of Moel Famau.

Kate and Simon have a beautiful place which is clean and comfortable. They are both friendly and approachable. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We definetly hope to return there in the future. I would definitely recommend others to stay there.

A brilliant find! The caravan is at the foot of Moel Famau and a perfect location for getting out and about. Chris and mike were perfect hosts, offering us extra towels (without us asking) and a late check out. They were on hand if we needed anything but also gave us plenty of space. Some lovely, thoughtful touches to welcome us. We’ll be back soon!

Two night stay as family with young children. Excellent location as lovely forest and countryside all around you. We were able to travel along a very picturesque road into betwyscoed in less than an hour. Directly over the road is a small park for the children and I can definitely recommend the nature trail which only takes around 45 mins to complete Caravan lovely and clean and hosts arranged fresh bread , milk and butter for us which was a nice touch. This is a hidden gem. A perfect place to stop and break up a long car journey on route to Holyhead Port. Very clean and well equipped. Lovely villages nearby. It was such a peaceful place to stay and the views were stunning. Huw is a very friendly host. Would recommend.

Excellent location and very spacious room. It was lovely and warm when we arrived on a very damp afternoon. Bed comfy, well furnished. Nice touches. We enjoyed a good breakfast at Chatwins bakery literally at bottom of hill about 400 m away. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Ruthin is a lovely little town.

Photo doesn’t do it justice. The bedroom is actually quite big with a very high ceiling. Spotlessly clean. Perfect location in the centre of town.

Linda's apartment is a great place to stay in Rhuthun. It's centrally located, roomy and has all you could need. Besides, It's fun to stay in an old Tudor house!

This is a beautiful room in an historic house. The road it's on is quiet although it's in the centre of Ruthin. There's lots to see and do in this beautiful town and the surrounding countryside. Lynda is welcoming and hosts impeccably clean accomodation. The room is very large - larger perhaps than the photos suggest. The bed is comfortable and everything worked perfectly - TV, wi-fi and tea/coffee making equipment. I would strongly recommend this room. Thank you again, Lynda.

What a treat this place is!! The pictures don’t really show how special this room is. We stayed just for the night while we had a day in North Wales. I met Lynda, who was a great host, who quickly showed me around. There’s lots of private space other than the bedroom. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. But the bedroom is fantastic, roomy, clean, the bed is really comfy. Such a great place to have for the day. I would certainly go back again. Can’t say how great it is.

If you're looking for authenticity, a kind and reliable host, and a lovely space to enjoy your stay in Ruthin, Lynda is who you need. We are so glad we decided to base ourselves in Ruthin for our Mount Snowdon adventure, it was far less hectic and busy as other surrounding areas. We also picked up a few trinkets from Lynda's antique store downstairs! Thanks Lynda, we will be back!

Great space, immaculately clean and great little touches like local bread and cakes on arrival. Kitchen is really well equipped too but the house is also close enough for a walk into into town if eating out. Will definitely be my first choice when in town again. 5 stars all the way.

We very much enjoyed our brief stay. Steve, Ffion and Thomas were very helpful and welcoming, the Welsh Cakes and Bara Brith were just what we needed with our cups of tea! This apartment is quiet, clean, tidy, well equipped and comfortable. We'll be coming back here again!

the old mill house was an ideal retreat away from any noise and hassle of daily life , with beautiful views of the not so distant hills and lots of wildlife to see and hear in the nearby fields , the house was spotless and decorated to a hi-spec with everything you could need.
