We didn't actually get to stay at Brad and Lisa's place because our flight was canceled due to bad weather. However, Brad and Lisa were always quick to respond to any questions, and completely understanding of our circumstances. If I travel to the area again, I would love to book with them!

Great country homestead tucked away from the hubbub. Hosts offer fantastic services, great company, and two furry friends. If you’re in the area, this is the place to stay.

Brad and Lisa were very friendly and hospitable hosts. They provided great directions and information about the area. Made a great suggestion for dinner, and prepared an outstanding breakfast. I was not sure what to expect from my first real AirBnB experience, and they have set the bar high for future use. The sleeping arrangements were great for my group of 3 and the amenities provided were beyond what I could have expected. I would 100% reccomend this location if you're looking for a clean and safe stay near South Bend, and wouldn't hesitate to book again if im in the area.

This was our first Airbnb experience, and it was definitely a very positive one. The accommodations were great, and we appreciated the extra touches of hospitality such as fresh flowers throughout our rooms. Ivan & Elsa’s place is very beautiful and has so many thoughtful touches! Felt like home with so much beautiful decor and a bunch of different food and drink options. It was great to get away from the busy city we live for a while and enjoy the nice country views. We loved the cheesecake flan and being able to have a tour of their beautiful home. Ivan & Elsa are very creative and skilled with designing/decorating and building things. We will definitely recommend their place to others and cannot wait to come back sometime!

Ivan and Elsa were INCREDIBLE hosts, they went above and beyond in every way possible. Ivan and Elsa’s place was incredible. It is the lower level of the barn that has incredible interior design. The place is beautiful with all the thoughtful touches! This place really does have everything you could think of. It is easy to feel right at home in such an incredible space. The space has everything you could want from a small kitchen, a working desk, a comfy bed, open living room, and a fire place to cuddle up in front of. Plus, the location is out away from town in a quiet setting surrounded by corn fields. We even saw some deer grazing in the morning. I loved my stay here and I am sad that I didn’t get to stay longer.

Ivan and Elsa’s place is absolutely beautiful, and one of my favorite Air B&B’s yet. A couple of friends and I chose their place for a one night getaway to celebrate Christmas and exchange gifts, and had a great time doing so in front of the electric fireplace and Christmas tree. Ivan and Elsa left us homemade treats, a variety of snacks and drinks/wine, and even a variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, and oatmeal for breakfast the next morning. Although we packed our own toiletries and essentials, Ivan and Elsa had extra available, including homemade bars of soap. If you are looking for a clean, stylish, homey place to stay (for an individual or small group of people) near the South Bend and Mishawaka areas, this is the place for you.

From the moment we arrived at the Airbnb, the convenience of the parking and secure coded private access was impressive. Upon entry, we were greeted with a variety of comfortable and relaxing sitting areas located throughout. From the cozy loveseat by the fireplace with numerous soft throws to snuggle up with, to the uniquely designed game nook for quiet reading, working on a puzzle or playing a board game. The kitchen and dining area came with a mini fridge (stocked with water and wine-which we enjoyed😊), toaster oven, snack tray, fresh granola and assortment of complementary teas, as well as coffee. We loved the cleverly designed computer workspace. Great shower with plenty of fresh towels and other bathroom amenities. The queen size bed with soft sheets, comfortable blankets, extra pillows and throws was outstanding. Owners live upstairs on premises but are very quiet and unobtrusive. Very safe country location for taking a walk and enjoying the sights. We will definitely book with them again!

This home is a great place to stay if visiting the South Bend area! The guest living space is very clean with a great view of the lake from the main living area window. Debbie maintains a wide variety of snacks and such for the guests. Debbie also has a very large variety of shampoo's and such that may have been forgotten when packing; she has definitely tried to think of everything! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. My son enjoyed spending time in the hammock over-looking the lake in the evening. The beds are comfortable; the unit has great wifi and the drive into South Bend is very easy; even on football weekend. Debbie was a great host and after giving my son and I a tour; she encouraged us to enjoy the amenities her home offered. It was a great stay and we will look to stay here again!!

Can't say enough good things. Debbie has taken care of everything to make your stay as simple as possible. She has a lovely place, and you can tell she truly enjoys being your host! For Debbie, hosting does not come across as 'work' - you can tell she enjoys being able to make your stay a memorable one. We will have to come during warmer weather to enjoy some of the lake activities - either that, or I'll have to take up ice-fishing!!! :-)

Debbie was an awesome host. She communicated well and had a space for us that was beyond our expectations and exceeded the expectations created by her listing. She was knowledgeable about the area, offered use of a tons of extras, and even had things like bottled water, snacks, and toiletries available should we need it. If you are looking for space for multiple family members to stay close to Nappanee, this is the place. His home is beautifully, yet comfortably, furnished. Ample space to spread out, both inside and out, pending weather. Sitting area with tv, access to kitchen for dining in and rooms are furnished with needed/helpful amenities. Rex is a gracious and available host, as needed, and yet also gives much space and privacy. We look forward to another opportunity to visit Nappanee and would definitely stay here again. The only thing is there are stairs to get to second floor for all bedrooms and bathroom with shower; however, they are split stairs, carpeted with nice railing so my Close to 80 year old parents were able to manage. They loved the home and comfortable space.

Rex’s house is truly beautiful with lots of unique touches. Even though it was cold out we enjoyed the pond, fire pit and outdoor play area for the kids. He was very warm and kind. It’s a great place to stay and we will absolutely be back this Summer to enjoy Rex’s home again.

We stayed with Rex overnight before a football game at Notre Dame and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a group of four, but needed three separate bedrooms and his property was perfect for us. The house is spotlessly clean, well decorated and in a quiet area just outside of the business district of Nappanee. We used Rex’s recommendation for breakfast in the morning and wouldn’t hesitate to book his property in the future - it’s a beautiful home and every bit as comfortable as it looks on the website

This airbnb was so beautiful and comfortable. It easily fit our group of 7, and was a great place for my family to get together and catch up. We ordered pizza and watched the ND game. It was a bit too cold to enjoy the backyard, but the pond provided and great view for morning coffee. Rex was very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! If you are going to Notre Dame for a weekend, I highly suggest you consider this option. The location is great and an easy drive to ND, maybe a 30 minutes drive at the most and the accommodations are much better than a hotel in the same area. Connie was a great host! This was so lovely! The lake was so peaceful and quiet! Perfect retreat space to get away from the hustle and bustle of the week. Connie has everything ready for us, including a camp fire! This is glancing without having to make the camper payments!! We will be back!

The stay at this Airbnb was amazing. The hosts were attentive, pleasant and treated us like we were family. The RV was clean. The fire pit was a fun extra that we weren’t expecting. The bed was soooooo comfortable. The sunset over the lake is to die for. We highly recommend this stay to couples or even single people who want to get away and feel the relaxation of camping with luxuries. We WILL be back! Worth every penny.

This is a wonderful country home, a peaceful place that is cozy and comfortable, and provides not only the necessities but also the nicest touches of style and hospitality. It is a convenient location, but we are always tempted to just stay at the house and enjoy the getaway, watching the birds and farm animals. The hosts are wonderful people and very attentive to their guests’ needs. This is our most favorite place to stay/visit.

The suite was the perfect overnight stay location for my daughter and I visiting family in the area. Sabrina met us as we arrived and made sure that we were comfortable in the space. We did not get the chance to try out the porch, but the location seems very good for downtown activities. We got a great night of sleep so we were well-rested for our family fun the next day.

Blue Heron is clean, spacious, comfortable and provides the basic amenities, along with several extras. You'll find the area to be safe and family oriented. Great having the paddleboat, canoe and rowboat to use on the lake! Great parking. Highly recommend!

We had a great time. Everything was as described and even better. We enjoyed all of the amenities, from the beach which provided hours of entertainment for the kids to the fire pit and grill. Amazing fun was had by all. Accommodations were wonderful, very comfortable and plenty of space. We highly recommend this location for lots of family fun. Very accessible to water, we swam every day, and played volleyball in the water and paddle boated and row boated. Family fires by the fire pit were a must and we loved the beautiful sunsets. Can’t say enough great about this location. 5 stars!

Kevin's lake house was everything I could have hoped for in a weekend getaway. The house itself had plenty of space, and while there were only two of us would be great for a larger group as well. The access to his dock and the lake was so wonderful with beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend considering this place if you are looking to get away from the stresses of life!

Exactly as described, spacious lake house with all the amenities you would want. Great for our group of 3 couples with kids, but would work just as well for any kind of group. Right off the water, plenty to keep yourselves entertained for a few days, including a very good kitchen. Great weekend!

Our stay at Bobbie’s was exceptional! Her hospitality, beautiful home, and comfy space are a great place to stay for a weekend or a refreshing, fun girls night! We can’t wait to go back.

Bobbie’s house was such an incredible find! In the words of one of my friends, “Bobbie’s house is so cozy & cute. It makes you feel so safe & comfortable here!” The hospitality was out of this world .. she even asked what time we wanted breakfast the next morning and prepared a huge spread of breakfast foods! I couldn’t recommend Bobbie’s place enough!

Great place to stay. Warm atmosphere with Midwest charm and hospitality. Location is close to Notre Dame (15-20 minutes) but away from the crowds during a football weekend. Breakfasts were delicious along with all the snacks provided. If looking for a quiet getaway, be sure to check out Walnut Grove B&B. Bobbie is a wonderful hostess.

Bobbie was an absolute pleasure to have as an Airbnb host. She treated myself and my four friends to a variety of amenities, a delicious breakfast each morning, and a comfortable environment. The photos of her home do not do it justice. The decor and personal touches were stunning. I will definitely be recommended Bobbie’s place to all my friends and family.

Bobbie and her husband Jay went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. The B&B was extremely cozy and Bobbie filled it with all the, thoughtful, amenities one could hope for. We never once felt unwanted or uncomfortable. If you are looking for a quiet place to get away to and relax I highly recommend Walnut Grove.

Bobbie and her husband truly provide an incredible place to rest, relax, and yes, enjoy an unbelievable breakfast! (You won't get that at most, if any other, Airbnb's!) Great place to stay. Quiet and convenient to the ND game

From the beautifully decorated rooms to the well appointed kitchen, the Albert Guesthouse was exactly what we needed for our weekend getaway! The sheets and bedding were so plush. I appreciated the quality bath towels while others in our party mentioned their appreciation of the quality toilet paper :) We can‘t wait to come back in the spring or early fall to experience more of your beautiful grounds and gardens. Even in the snow we can see that is such a beautifully cared for property. Bruce is a born entertained and perfect host! We appreciated his perfect recommendations for dinner (Sunny Italy was delicious!) and his attentiveness to our checkin and check out procedures and overall happiness while staying at his families property. We look forward to sharing our experiment with friends and family.

Cozy, cute home. 3 bedroom, 2 of which have double beds, and 1 room has a bunk bed. Spacious living room and front porch. Plenty of parking, not too far from now Notre Dame stadium. Very clean and decorative.

When I booked this place, it was because of its beauty and all that came with it. I had no idea I was in for way much more! From Bruce being an exceptional host to being an amazing person! Everything we could have possibly needed at the guest house was there. We needed for only our own personal food! He provides everything!! And extras too! He made our stay one to remember! He made my husband and I and our friends feel welcome and like family! He went above and beyond making us feel welcome at his tailgate party before the game! He even made special accommodations for my husband and I!! I could go on and on and on about how fortunate we are to have met such an amazing person and how awesome his place is!! What a great find! Within 20 minutes of Notre Dame so worked perfect for our weekend. Hosts were so helpful and gave us some great suggestions. And loved the pumpkins, apples, fresh apple juice and breakfast goodies. Tons of space and so quiet. Will definitely stay again! Go Irish!

This place is amazing! Beautiful grounds with an incredible flower garden and ducks and friendly dogs roaming the property. The hosts were friendly and helpful- they even drove is to the Motte Dame game. The place has a bedroom downstairs and one upstairs. Very comfortable beds. We have found our new place for Notte Dale visits!

Wow, what a great place to stay. The cottage was all that it was presented on the Air BNB website. Both hosts were wondering, very friendly and genuinely concerned with how our stay was going from beginning to end. We were in town for a ND Football Game, Larry the husband, offered to drive us to the stadium which was so nice. All in all a great place and worthwhile to book if you are traveling into South Bend.

Vintage charm, in a peaceful country setting. The house is beautiful and homey. We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday (and a Notre Dame game!) and it easily accommodated 7 adults, 2 kids and one very young baby!

Our group of family friends (8 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 infants) all had a wonderful time and a fun relaxing weekend at the farmhouse. It was the perfect getaway from Chicago, an easy quick trip to a beautiful setting. The kids loved feeding carrots to Copper the horse and the house is set up perfectly for group meals and hanging out, while still having plenty of comfortable space for everyone to spread out, rest and relax.

Our family was in South Bend for a wedding and wanted a chance to relax and cook together over the long weekend. The farmhouse was an ideal setting for us, charming and comfortable!

My siblings and I planned this trip as a family get-together in celebration of our fathers 70th birthday, and we couldn't have been happier with the house and property! The photos and description in the listing were right on and it was exactly what we were hoping for. All 5 of the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the common areas of the home (kitchen, living room, dining room) provided plenty of space for all 9 of us. Thank you for providing such a beautiful and tranquil setting for our celebration!

The house is so special & Andrea & Kelsi were wonderful. Many thanks for our beautiful stay at the farm. We LOVED Junior & wished we had had more hours to play catch with him. Andrea was fabulous to work with. We rented her beautiful home for out of town guests for our April 2016 wedding and were welcomes beyond measure. The house was clean and just all around beautiful. We had the most lovely time at the farm house. We had room for 5 families with toddlers, which is a feat! The house was spacious and inviting. It's perfect for a weekend away from Chicago or other nearby cities. My daughter (2) loved the rope swing, the resident horse, border collie, and barn cats. There is also a playhouse with a slide, a trampoline, and an orchard. The perfect getaway. We came in late January and were able to enjoy a toasty fire and big meals in the dining room, which miraculously fit all of us. Meals were a breeze in the huge professional grade kitchen. Note, there isn't a microwave (that we knew).

Jan's suite was absolutely beautiful, very homey and relaxing! Small touches everywhere and comfy beds help you feel immediately at home. The location was easy to find and close to coffee, excellent food and shopping. Perfect for our girls' getaway!

Jan's place has exceptional beds and the location is near the center of Nappannee. It will offer extraordinary value for fans at Notre Dame home football games.

Even with over 20 people in the house, we all felt like we had plenty of room and plenty to do. We visited in the winter, and even with snow on the ground, the kids made sure to enjoy the playground and full court basketball. 6 of the beds were double or bigger, allowing for plenty of sleeping space. The owners made sure to stock lots of basic amenities, making the stay very carefree. There's a Walmart not far for anything you forgot! We had a great weekend.

Great place, slept 13 kids and 12 adults easily with room for a few more if you have your own blow ups. Outdoor and basement space was great for keeping the kids busy and happy. Plenty of amenities for preparing large meals. And Joe is a great host, very responsive and flexible!

This was probably one of the best AirBnB experiences we have had. Kelsey is a phenomenal host, even going so far as to get us groceries, because we were getting in late and needed food for breakfast to give the kids. The house was sparkling clean and had such a cozy feeling, which made our stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. The house was also beautifully decorated for Christmas -- the kids got so excited to see the house full of lights, berries, trees, reindeer, etc.! We hope to stay here again next time we are in town.

This was my first time using ABB and I wasn’t sure what to expect. All of my worries are history. Kelsey’s was an awesome host and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. If your looking for a quaint little slice of Americana, this is the place for you! Quiet, tree lined streets dotted with charming farm-style houses, and Kelsey's home is the shining star! We sat on the beautifully decorated, shady front porch every evening and watched the neighborhood live and breath, it was wonderful! The house just walked off of an HGTV episode, I'm sure, so professionally decorated, but filled with Farm Charm. Every amenity provided. Lovely personal touches, fresh flowers, fresh sweet vegetables from the backyard garden. Downtown is a 5 minute walk away to great pizza, old time dime store candy shop, and more fun places to explore! This is the street we all grew up on, come home, it will do your heart good! What an absolutely beautiful home, spacious and bright. Everything was clean, perfect, homey and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to this area.

Adorable studio apartment in lower level! Clean and adorably decorated! We enjoyed our stay, it was the perfect place to relax after all the wedding festivities for my best friend!

Beautiful and spacious basement apartment that has everything you could need! It was the perfect place for my weekend to recharge and rest from a busy summer. Mindy was a thoughtful host - she even left fresh flowers in vases throughout the space, which made it feel extra special. Bed was comfy and everything was lovely. Will definitely stay here if I’m ever in the area again!
