Ruka Valley, which is right next door, has restaurants and a small grocery store. The Gondola elevator from Ruka Valley provides convenient access to the front slopes of Ruka Village, where you can find a larger grocery store and restaurants. In the summer, of course, there is disc golf and MTB!

Located in the summer lake area, the atmospheric log cabin Saukkoruka is a beautifully decorated holiday home right next to the Skibus stop. 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets and a large loft with 4 extra beds and a TV. The living room has a sofa bed that can sleep 2 people. A new, fully equipped kitchen for 8 people is connected to the living room. One bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom has a 2 meter wide bed and a TV.  To the store 1.5 km and to the Ruka slopes by car 5 min.
