A perfect home from home - everything has been thought about what you could need. Perfect location, very close to bus routes into York but so peaceful to come back to after a busy day exploring. Great to have some basic provisions provided - the lemon cake gets a special mention, Jill was very kind to make it dairy free for my wife, extra delicious. A great place to stay and highly recommend!

Great couple of days at the Potting Shed. Made to feel welcome and a nice quiet and friendly area. Great also to meet Molly the cat and Javier the tortoise! Will come back again if in the area. Highly recommended.

great stay , as the pictures .nice and warm ,[ don't try to adjust thermostat lower ,as control is very sensitive and hard to reset ,so best to leave it ] i was not sure about which bins to use for the recycling though, so i apologise for that .comfy beds and all clean . we used park and ride , which was close by , to get to city centre. and a big tesco was on the way as well. we can highly recommend the Indian restaurant just 100 yards up the road , really good food , but remember it is cash only and bring your own drink , if you forget ,there is a small tesco next door which also has cash machine , it is well worth a visit , there is also a pub next door to that ,[ but the food not nearly so good, pub grub ] nice drink though and plenty TV's inside to watch football etc.
