Our beautiful and secluded countryside retreat at the start of the Brecon Beacons is perfect for those looking to escape from the city for few days, or use as a base to hike the Brecon Beacons. The loft apartment has fantastic views of Skirrid and the Black Mountains, alongside it's modern and comfortable interior, with plentiful hiking and countryside exploration on your doorstep. Feel at peace hearing just the birds and farm animals as you sip your morning coffee, then head out and explore!

Views out towards the Monnow Valley, Skirrid, Sugar Loaf and Black Mountains. Plenty of things to do, see and visit in the area. Dog friendly (two pooches) and has a wood fired hot tub to star gaze.

Originally built in the 13th century, Jinks Cottage was home to the village cobbler (called Jinks), his wife and six children. Now carefully restored, it provides a spacious country retreat for four, plus your four-legged friends, as we’re very dog friendly!

Secluded Hut on the Welsh Border

Kingfisher Camp is a romantic hideaway set in the dimple of a hillside of a small farm in the foothills of the Black Mountains. The hut is available for anyone who is content to cuddle up by candlelight and light the woodburning stove to get cosy, or spend a night out by the fire, cooking food and star gazing. The setting is gorgeous, the views are stunning, the hut is much bigger than a shepherds hut, and the shower is a glorious experience! It's pretty special here. Hard to beat we think!

Relax in the private outside area, with charcoal barbeque, hammock and fire pit, and explore local walks, pubs, market towns and historical sites. Dogs are welcome. We are situated in a unique position overlooking Dore Abbey within the Golden Valley. The pod is furnished to make it light and airy with all mod cons including TV, wifi, DAB radio, a modern kitchen and shower room. Although it is modern it has a country/Scandi feel and offers guests uninterrupted views out to open countryside and the 12th Century Abbey. There is a private patio which is perfect for enjoying a coffee and taking in the Abbey and surrounding farmland.
