Pros -Hidden gem in nature -Awesome food, Kanu ji can compete in master chef -Kanu ji and his family were so welcoming and friendly took really really good care of us -So get to experience actual pahadi tradition which is not blemished by anything -You can’t go to elsewhere, you are really just in a place(Can be con too depending on your preferences) Con -The trek path is not for everyone especially at night it can be risky. Was strenuous for my parents(who are senior citizens). I would ideally deduct 0.5 star for this, but because of hospitality, food and such a nice location went with full 5 stars :)

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a staycation at this beautiful property, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The property itself is a hidden gem — tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly cozy. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful property nestled inside an orchard. The peaceful vibe of the place is truly unmatched — waking up to the sounds of nature and being surrounded by greenery was such a refreshing experience. The rooms were big, spacious, and spotless, with great attention to cleanliness and upkeep. The hosts have clearly put in a lot of love and care into maintaining the space. The location itself offers stunning views and a very warm, homely feel that instantly makes you feel at ease. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a serene getaway! Himanshu was very helpful and proactive right from the booking stage. His staff, Bhupi and his wife are also very warm and supportive. Mine was a solo trip but would love to come back with some company soon to enjoy the wonderful experience again.

Staying with Naval Thakur was lovely. The homestay is cozy as promised. It was a fun time all around - Naval took us to Pundrik Rishi Lake, Shangarh, Twin Towers showed us local waterfalls, told us about the culture and stories. The food was amazing as well - we were able to enjoy many different local foods and learn about their cultural significance. Most things that were served were grown in the farm outside!! Deohari serves as good place to use as a home base - a cozy village with traditional Himachali architecture and style. One can travel in and around Sainj Valley using Deohari as the center point. Being part of the Great Himalayan National Park, it is lush with flora and fauna - especially a wide of variety of birds. Naval ji was able to guide us to many different natural wonders. We learnt about the local Devs and Devis - their stories, rituals, festivals etc. All in all, living with Naval ji was a very fun experience, can't wait to go back!!

Undoubtedly the best home stays in the Parvati Valley Region . You get exactly what you want here “ PEACE” . The best part of the place is that the other guests arriving here are also scrutinized and then taken in the property. Being a solo traveler sometimes we want a safer environment which I got here . I went on hikes alone and was being called by the host almost everyday for just checking in how I am and where I am . This feeling of being taken care has made me fall in love with the hosts and their hospitality . Beautiful , Peaceful and Adventurous is what I experienced here and next time again I would definitely come here . The forest region treks starts from right behind the property and when you come back from the forest the first thing you see is the property which at that moment feels like life saver . Overall I would recommend you to come here to experience PEACE , GOOD HOMELY VIBES , THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE VALLEY .

Saloni’s place is tucked away in a quaint village in Sainj Valley, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and untouched nature. The house is a beautifully restored Himachali home. It is warm and full of character, clearly built with love over the years. One of my favorite things to do was lounging on the hammock in the garden, reading, surrounded by flowers and greenery. Life moves at a different pace here - slow, quiet, and peaceful. The home cooked meals were fresh and delicious every single day. And the dogs, penny and chandler, were the sweetest! Saloni is a wonderful host. She’s kind, helpful, and full of great recommendations for nearby places to explore. She’s created a space that has good vibes and feels welcoming. Also, a shoutout to Pragati, the volunteer during my stay. She kept the energy up with her fun banter and stories. If you’re looking to escape the fast paced city life and slow down, this is the place for you.
