Isle of Mull, Ormaig self-catering cottage Lochdon

NeilRating, 5 stars2 months ago
What a place to stay!! From the initial booking and super communications with Steve, we’ve enjoyed the best few days in Scotland ever!! The bothy is in the most idyllic location on Mull, but at the same time only a short drive from the ferry terminal. We were met by Steve on our arrival (earlier than expected as the cottage had been free the day before..this gave us half a day extra really!) and showed around the property…wow, wow and WOW!!! The design, the immaculate presentation, the comfiest of beds..an absolute credit to Steve who has put so much thought and effort into such a wonderful place..and the view…well, there aren’t any words!!! We were blessed with beautiful weather whilst spending our few days exploring parts of the island (the bird life is exceptional!!) but if the weather had been different, we could’ve very happily stayed in the cottage just watching the tide roll in and disappear again!! Thankyou so much for letting us stay..we’ll see you again soon!! Jill and Neil

Sunndach Pod. Cozy Secluded Wildlife Coast Getaway

JessicaRating, 5 starstoday
This place exceeded expectations- and I already thought it was going to be beautiful! The small touches - like a living herb garden that guests can use, and offering a coffee machine when I asked about a cafetière (there is one as well, in case you’re wondering!) was just the icing on the cake. The pod itself is in a very peaceful, private location. We felt right at home. The welcome for the dog was also lovely, with her own special biscuits alongside the human ones.

Luxury Hut at Floyde's Farm

EddieRating, 5 stars2 days ago
An idyllic shepherd's hut which was perfect for two people looking to get a peaceful and scenic getaway! The livingroom, kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and bed was comfortable. We loved having the door open most of the time to enjoy the country views and highland cows! Angie was a responsive host, very kind and helpful, check in/check out was relaxed too. I will definitely come back again, thanks Angie and John!

The Wee Hut

ClareRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
One of the most beautiful and comfortable airbnbs I’ve stayed in! The location was gorgeous, Rosie was beyond helpful and welcoming, including having freshly baked bread ready for us on arrival! The hut was very clean and warm. The kitchen was even better equipped than my kitchen at home. On top of all of that the yoga class was one of the most enjoyable I’ve ever done, it was so relaxing. Lovely sauna session as well!! Truly can’t recommend this place more.

The Studio - Ballygown, Ulva Ferry, Isle of Mull

KevinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stunning location with everything you need. The kitchen and bed spaces are compact but the living space looking out on the Isle of Ulva is superb! A visit to The Boathouse on Ulva is an absolute must and we also enjoyed a meal at Am Birlinn. (The fresh bread available from the house opposite is also delicious). EV charging was fine (in early June) Thank you Mary for an excellent stay in The Studo.
An en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower with glass doors, a modern sink on a wooden shelf, and a toilet. Soft, white towels are neatly arranged on a shelf. The warm wood paneling creates a cozy yet contemporary atmosphere.

Pods at Port nan Gael Campsite

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Loved our weekend in the pod. The view you wake up to is stunning. Didn't want to leave. Great facilities, loved the fold down bed/sofa. bathroom more spacious than expected. Great to have a grassy areas for the kids to run around and a lovely pub & shop on site for dinner out and supplies. We stayed as a family of four. The top bunk is very small (which is described so we knew to expect that) so not sure how many people could make use of the top bunk. Kid needs to be small enough to fit but old enough to be on a top bunk. Great location, 30 mins to ferry to mainland but also 30 mins to ferry to Iona which I would highly recommend. Gorgeous sandy beaches nearby. Lots of wildlife to see, often on the road, kids loved this.
