Cabin vacation rentals in Rockville

Reserved the house a year before our stay in anticipation of son's graduation. EVERYTHING was exactly as described in the listing. We had a marvelous time in Nashville, Bloomington, and Indianapolis as well as a 1/2 day at Lake Monroe. Easily drivable for food, supplies, and entertainment venues. We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Thanks Dave.

Absolutely loved our stay! Everything was so amazing. We were in the area for the state track tournament. While a little farther than we wanted to travel from the event, this place made up for any worries in that with its peaceful and private setting. All the extras for adult and child use in the yard was great. My boys loved every bit of this stay. While we only stayed a few days, we used everything we could and will definitely look to stay again.

Three of my brothers and myself stayed at the cabin from Nov 7 - 10, we were in town to attend the Indiana vs Michigan football game. the cabin was as advertised and was a perfect match for us, we each had our own bedroom and private bathroom, the cabin is a couple miles off the beaten path, it was very quiet, secluded, the cabin was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Our hosts Peter and Suzanne, answered our questions promptly and provided lots of information. would recommend the cabin

There was 8 men from 62 to 75. Played golf all week, cooked at the cabin. Very private, comfortable, beautiful. We all loved this Airbnb. One of our best stays from FL to TN and back to Indiana. We've stayed in several Airbnb we loved this one. Thank you, Apolonia,

Beautiful place. House was very inviting. Hot tub and fire pit was nice. Location was great. Nearby marina and grocery items were convenient. Nashville and Brown county shops were within half hour drive. We would consider coming again!

The house and property was amazing and I’d definitely come back. Loved that there was a pond, the ability to fish, walk thru the woods, have a fire, and just sit out on the porch enjoying nature. It was exceptionally convenient that you could use their fishing gear and grill. We stayed all week without needing to go out. Also, the host was EXTREMELY responsive and helpful. The only thing I’ll say—make sure you are prepared for tick if you plan to spend any time outdoors. This isn’t a complaint or the fault of the host—just a reminder to be prepared. (Being a city girl, I didn’t think about this…I assume most people would! 🙂)

Have you ever wondered what a marina is like after it closes for the day? If so, then this is THE place to book. Although the exterior is modest, the inside wows! The balcony, with its phenomenal view of the lake, was a FANTASTIC place to have your morning coffee. The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials, and there were thoughtful touches like amenity kits in the bathrooms. Stephen was very responsive and accommodating, and the manager, Jess, was wonderful and gave us some tips about events around town. It's conveniently located near Bloomington (we were in town for a graduation), but far enough away to avoid the crowds and the plethora of people. At night, the gate is locked, so it's just you enjoying the solitude. The only downside was our nav told us to go into the mobile home park across the street. If your nav says turn into an area with mobile homes, you actually need to go through the fenced-in area on the other side of the road.

We loved our stay! The house was spotless and had everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the back deck and listening to the birds sing. This is a perfect place for anyone wanting a peaceful retreat in to nature. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We can't wait to come back!

This cottage is quaint and cozy and was the perfect home base during our son's wedding weekend in Crawfordsville. It made our weekend away from home so much more relaxing.

Perfect location and felt right at home!

Check-in was a breeze with Nate sending our code before arrival. The place was clean, had everything we needed. Loved it had a washer and dryer. We could wash and dry our clothes after a muddy hike at the state park nearby. Only thing to note there is not an oven or toaster oven. It may have been noted in the listing and I forgot about it. We loved that Nate provided firewood to enjoy the firepit. We didn't get a chance to use it this trip due to rain but that is a nice touch. We would definately stay here agin!

Gary and Kris's house was amazing! The space was roomy and fun. It was well appointed and the kitchen had every pot or pan you could imagine. The deck is very nice and the view from it was serene. We saw lots of wildlife in the back and side yards and were able to catch fish right from the dock. It was easy to find and there's a lot that's close in case you forget anything. We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

Another great stay at Cabin #2. Super clean and comfortable. It’s easy to find, quiet and has good amenities with the coffee maker and mini fridge with freezer. The cabin still feels new. The tv is good size and the shower with shampoo, conditioner, bar soap and plenty of hot water were much appreciated after a day of driving. There’s extras provided with a hair dryer, blanket, kitchen table and two seats. I like there’s a luggage rack and bench inside along with a mini table on the front porch. The ceiling fan, dehumidifier and cold air conditioning kept the temps comfortable inside. The outside porch light was nice to have for safety. These cabins are a (not so) hidden gem and are kept really nice. I cannot recommend these properties and host May enough. Communication and instructions were clear and friendly. Thank you May for a wonderful stay and offering such great accommodations.

Absolutely love the house. I loved the view from the top decks. The waterfalls is very nearby and beautiful. I love the fact that we was able to book this place and keep our dog with us. Thats what sold us on staying here and the fishing for the kids. Very big bass in the pond. Good pass time with the family. Unfortunately the general store wasn't open. The lady was sick that runs it. Very nice community. Jeff did great with communication. Especially when i stupidly locked myself out of the house. I did accidentally check in early after 24 hours of no sleep to get from NC to IN. He was very nice about it, and it was no problem. I knew the water did not smell good from previous reviews. So no complaints there. I was just greatful to get this place last minute so we could be close to the club to compete in the UKC TOC. Very blessed to stay here.

We stayed here after a day trip to Turkey Run and it was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had in all my years of staying at Airbnbs. This was such a cute cabin with unique & cozy decor and an unbeatable outdoor lounging area. It was also extremely clean. The cabin was secluded in the back and felt like the perfect getaway from the surrounding town. Sandra was an amazing host. She provided proactive and helpful instructions while making us feel right at home. I cannot say enough good things about this cabin - a MUST stay.

We had such a magical stay in the cabin on the bluff. The house is very comfortable with everything we needed. Sitting on the back porch was a extra treat with so many birds. Each morning a very pregnant doe would come visit us. We also had an especially friendly orange tom cat come visit, too. Thanks, Megan!

I had a girl's trip at Bill's place it was everything we had hoped for! very peaceful and beautiful. he has many decks to sit out on to watch the sunrise! and an amazing pool for when the hot weather becomes to much!! he was very helpful giving some recommendations on things to do nearby!! cataract falls was just as great as he said it was.

We love to stay at the cabin when we’re in Brown County. It’s peaceful and secluded while still close to Nashville and other sites. I super appreciate being able to take our little dogs, and we joke about the dogs thinking it’s our vacation house since they’ve been there enough times to feel comfortable right away.

We needed a place last minute and were so lucky to find this cute cottage. It sits at the end of a short drive and you feel like you are the only people there. Very quiet neighborhood unless you count the singing birds and croaking frogs! We loved the loft bedroom and the cute porch overlooking the water. The deck on the water is great for fishing and we saw bass if that’s your thing. Great spot for a peaceful getaway. We look forward to visiting again. Our hosts were responsive and helpful. Monrovia, just 5 minutes away, has a great restaurant, The Mainstreet Grill, and there is also a grocery store close with a top notch butcher and everything you need. This place is a gem!
